Lovely meal. Great atmosphere and environment. Will definitely come back again!
Great food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our meal
Good food served by efficient and friendly staff. Excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord although £4 a pint was a shock. I also thought that the regular fish and chips was very small at over £9.
Food and service is always fantastic and today was no exception
Lovely, cosy rooms, great food, fantastic breakfast, really great little Inn.
Food nice. Service ok but could have been more friendly.
Third visit the portions of Pork were small, The seabass was minute, not even a child's portion and was overcooked. The Sticky toffee pudding was lukewarm and the sauce cold. If this was my first visit I wouldn't go back, but it has been better in the past. The staff tend to congregate by the till so to get another drink or attention is difficult
Lovely place lovely food would recomend to friends will return in the near future.
Despite booking our table in advance and arriving in good time we received very poor attention from waiting staff with no-one taking a drinks order and an exceptionally long wait before anyone took a food order. The food then took a very long time to arrive. Nobody checked to ask if all was ok - it was fine. We then had a long wait to be able get the bill. All in all an ‘ok’ visit but nothing that we would want to repeat particularly- sorry
We arrived early which was not a problem and we were seated in an empty restaurant, on end table which was next to the thorough fare for the toilets and the outside smoking area. This thorough fare is very busy. We asked to be moved and was initially ignored but was then told we could move. It turned out there was no reason to put us at this poor table as the restaurant was never full! The food was good but we were never approached to ask how it was until we paid the bill. We eat at other Taylors pubs in Haworth, Thornton and Oldfield ( the best) but once again the customer service at The Woolley Sheep was very poor
We visited on Boxing Day last year and enjoyed our meal so much we booked for this year. I think that speaks for itself.
Food not as good as previous visits, but great service
The food was ok - nothing fancy. The gravy was very thin and watery
Great pub, great beer, great food. Thank you very much!
Excellent food and service. Good atmosphere. Will go there again
Average pub food at inflated prices. Had the large burger ,no lettuce or pulled pork ,other meal of sea bass and risotto (risotto more like rice pudding) no trace of chorizo ,thought we would try a pudding to share , had the brownie and at £6.50 the portion size was dreadful (not something you would share) , no member of staff came and asked if everything was OK as the were all too busy dealing with a customer that could not pay. Obviously could do better
Staff were very attentive and accommodating to our table of 7! Thank you for a lovely meal and service.
Lovely meal and atmosphere would highly recommend you book a table .
Excellent high quality food. Good value for money and will visit again
Really outstanding Christmas meal. Service was brilliant and friendly. Always a pleasure to come to this pub for food after a couple of years away from Skipton.

Popular lively cosy warm pub. Great food. We always go there when we visit Skipton.
We went on a busy Saturday evening. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the speed of service. The food was nice however and the staff friendly
Highly recommend the Woolly Sheep. Staff, welcome, drinks and food excellent.
Lively Saturday night out at a vibrant restaurant.. Real pub atmosphere
Food awful. Had a refund. Rabbit confit leg dry. Carrots came with grit. Frozen veg used with the noodles.
Lovely good, atmosphere and service. Would recommend and will return
Brilliant Sunday lunch as usual. Fantastic food and great environment to relax. Thanks
Woolly sheep very nice, have been before, hopefully will be back again.
First visit there despite living in Skipton for years! Lovely pub, delicious ‘home style’ food. Efficient friendly staff. Will definitely be going more!!
Warm and welcoming as always. We both had the duck which was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Service a little slow but not really a problem as we weren't in a hurry.
Lovely meal. Never disappoints however rather short staffed and a long wait for service. Good value.
Easy to book online. First visit. Will go back. Loved the Yorkshire Puddings.
Food very bad quality, wait times were poor for food, we got put in a side room away from the main pub so atmosphere was poor.
Great choice and quality food and service, would thoroughly recommend.
Fantastic meal , sadly were fully booked up for rooms
The food was excellent, the staff really friendly and they were happy to have our dog in the snug.
