Great place. Good food and look forward to going again. Just a bit on the noisy side but bearable and not unpleasant.
Lovely meal, pie and chips, young staff were trained excellently. Perfect end to a lovely day
Excellent 🤩 After reading reviews on the woolly sheep we decided to book for a meal , we arrived early which wasn’t a problem and from there onwards we were looked after 100% , the staff, food, drink and the whole place deserves 10/10
Great venue, service and food. Plenty of choice on menu
A lovely dog/family friendly pub. Great food and wonderful service. We are indoors but they also have a great undercover and heated outdoor area.
Fantastic food , we ate early and enjoyed every minute , lovely staff.
The food was average. Our order consisted of two fish wraps and two bacon, brie and cranberry panninis. The wraps were fine, the panninis were overdone, almost burned, only just acceptable.
Our visit was okay, it started well the pub is cool & we were pleased to see the screens between tables were still in place. We placed our order but waited approximately 45 minutes to have our meals served - they were only sandwiches. To their credit we were given an apology and a 20% reduction on our bill which was very good.
Lovely pub, really good staff who were not in your face asking if all ok whilst your trying to eat. Food was amazing. Tasty, well presented and awesomely delicious. Really fast service from ordering to delivery. I would really, really recommend here and would definitely have no hesitation in eating here again
Fantastic Sunday roast beef dinner. Lovely mousse for dessert. Great.
Nice and cosy seats beers are really good maybe should do live football and pool table
As excellent as always! We've been to The Woolly Sheep many times and have never been disappointed. It was a first-time visit for the friends who were with us and they were also very impressed, choosing ox liver and steak & ale pie. The pizza was lovely and the venison was amazing! Thank you Andrea, Michaela, Fred, Jess(?), the other young man whose name we don't know yet and (of course) the chef. A memorable dinner.
Great food, good service 😀 we’ll organised for c19 😀
Lovely food friendly helpful staff had a great time will be making a return vist
the staff were lovely and we had a lovely time.
Lovely food and good service, really enjoyed our meal. Thanks
Nice place, good food, friendly service. Will definitely go back
Social distance was good.Good food plenty. Also beers, wines and spirts a plenty no rush to get you out.
Mixed bag of good generally good, staff lovely and helpful
very efficient. Good atmosphere. we could hear each other talk. Given the weather we might have preferred to be in the outdoor area but did not know that when we booked.
Good yummy lunchtime food id happy goo again, the waiting on staff very good at answering question
The food was lovely and the staff were great as well
Poor service and food of a variable quality. Need to up their game.
Food and service very good all food served piping hot will be returning
Nice food, friendly and helpful staff and well spaced tables. One of my favourite places in skipton.
Lovely pub. Good service. Food reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
nice food, nice outdoor area under cover and heated while in covid
Although we had booked we did have a wait till our table was ready however an interim table was provided so we could have drinks in the sun till it was ready. We were able to stay after our meal and enjoyed drinks and a catch up till closing at 10pm. Drink service a little slow, best ordering before you have finished your drink. Food very good.
Food, service and atmosphere all great! Was raining but enough shelter to not be a problem at all in the beer garden area. Staff all very friendly and happy to help
Good food friendly service .We felt safe too . Thanks
Good service, changed our table upon request. Food was really good too
The woolly sheep have done all they possibly can to welcome us visitors back so despite the low temperatures outside it was great and we will be back again tomorrow.
Great location, great service, great food! Will visit again !
Excellent service a great friendly staff. Can not fault this place at all
Food was amazing an staff was warm an welcoming would eat there again
Very well organised, despite covid regulations. Lovely meal. Fruendly staff.
Really warm welcoming service, and within the given restrictions, i.e. sitting outside (albeit covered) the staff did wonderfully well. Efficient seating, good table service, and we knew to bring coats/ hats/ gloves! A tip for the future- maybe have the smokers segregated away if at all possible? Would thoroughly recommend.
The food and service was good, the beer was very good.
Quiet post Xmas drink and dinner. Excellent food. Service a bit slow but staff excellent.
Good staff, good food, real fire. All made for a good atmosphere.
A Christmas Day treat for us. We really appreciate the efforts made by Andrea and her team to make it all happen safely. Wonderful service from Sophie and Tess and fantastic food from those behind the scenes. We've never been out for lunch on Christmas Day before but we hope to repeat the experience. Thank you all.
Nice relaxed and safe atmosphere. Just the Christmas boost needed
The food and atmosphere were excellent. Staff a little slow on coming back to check if we wanted another drink.
Excellent service from very friendly and helpful staff, definitely worth a visit
Lovely food & service. Can't wait to visit again x
The meal was nice however there could of been more vegetables.
Great visit as always. Pint of Landlord and a yummy roast.
Good food and drink, great service and COVID secure , what’s not to like
On the Fish and Chip regular menu my mushy peas were non existent! The Timothy Taylor beers Spring Knowle and Landlord were extremely good as would be expected from a great brewery! The rubarb and apple crumble were delicious as was the STP. The staff were exceptional ! Well done ! Get the mushy peas portion BIGGER please as they are a favourite! Cheers.
Brilliant service at the table. The house gun was Bombay sapphire which was yummy. I had the vegi burger with maple bacon which tasted gorgeous. My partner had the hot dog. Both masks came very quickly and were served with a smile and chips. Highly recommend.
