Excellent meal, original menu and staff were only to pleased to cook something that was not on the menu. Restaurant had a really lovely atmosphere, altogether a wonderful evening would highly recommend

We have been to Vittorio's on several occasions over the years and can honestly say have never been let down. The food and service received is excellent, and will certainly continue to frequent this lovely family run restaurant.

We went for our 16th anniversary, as we went to there on our first ever date. I wrote a special request for a romantic table but wasn’t greeted well and told to sit anywhere. Drink very expensive especially for the Diet Coke which is on tap and was dreadful, flat and not like the proper stuff. House wine not the best either but expensive. Food was good, not brilliant but good. Probably will not be going back, which is a shame

Excellent food with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Visited on a Saturday evening with the restaurant fully occupied and despite this the staff were very efficient with the food arriving promptly. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent service, food was top notch. All round fantastic experience. Would highly recommend it to family and friends ,would definitely go again. A well run family restaurant.

Lovely restaurant, great food and a lovely ambience in there. Friendly waitress too. Food lovely and hot, I had lasagne which was fab. Definitely visit again.

The food and drink was superb with a great Italian décor, friendly staff but quality of service was not as good as you would expect.

One of my favourite restaurants in Newport. Friendly staff, great food and drink, great vibe. Always made to feel welcomed by Anna and the staff. We go back regularly.

The restaurant located in a convenient location, the food was beautiful as always and staff were really friendly and welcoming. A true family owned Italian restaurant.

Staff were Lovely, we were seated straight away and ordered our drinks. Fast service of food and drinks, both of which were brilliant. Could have done with a bigger break before dessert but the cheese cake was to die for. Over all a perfect night. <3

Buono, atmosphere as always condusive to a comfortably relaxed occasion in which to savour a well prepared meal with friends.. our guests enjoyed the occasion too! The staff very freindly and eager to assist in making the evening special, with the head chef coming attending the table to take our order. A large party celebrating a special birthday added to the conviviality of the night, plenty of 'elbow' room none the less with space for pre dinner drinks should you want.

Very tasty home made Italian food! It was my son's 4th Birthday and they made such a fuss over him. We will definitely be going to Vittorio's again! Highly recommend it!

food was great apart from deserts,good price and nice served good taste.but service need to improve alot. the waitress dont got they own area to look after so its a mess . every time it comes difrent one and they dont know wheare u are food drinks u ask meniu and they disappear u gonna go and ask again.great place good food service need improve alot

Booked a table for 8pm sat down at table at 8.30pm the manager said sorry and blamed the staff On a positive the food was very nice

Excellent food & staff, only thing was it was very cold in there, one couple kept there coats on all night . But that aside couldn't fault the food , very well presented, & wonderful depth of flavours , would definitely re - visit and recommend to family & friends

Pleasant surroundings and atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent food if a little on the pricey side. Bill was overcharged with a chicken main being charged as a steak at over £10 more. We received a half hearted apology for the error and came away with the feeling it may be a common occurrence!!

Haven't been to Vittorios in a while but just the same and lovely Italian food and friendly staff. Will not leave it so long again!

My husband and I met there ten years ago. It remains a lovely traditional italian . Great customer service, relaxed and pleasant dining, gorgeous food😊😊very different to chains such as Prezzo or Zizzi, will definitely go back 😁

As always, an absolute delight. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. We always dine there for special occasions and other occasions as well: we just like the food and the attention that we receive.

We hat a lovely time at Vittorio's last night. The food was outstanding and the restaurant has a really genuine Italian ambience to it. Can't wait to go again!

Vittorio's was, as always, superb. Whenever we visit Newport we look forward to going there with our friends Julie and Alan. They have been eating there for years but this visit was the first since Alan's stroke. Vittorio's could not have done more to help my friend and the food was delicious, as always. Overall the experience was decent spoiled by a few instances. A member of the bar staff obviously new to the role spilled a whole pint of peroni over a member of our party. The colleague then disappeared to the bar as if the instance did not occur as we were left to clean up the spillage. Additonally my main meal of meatballs was brought as a started which was then taken back but then subsequently brought back 20 minutes later. Staff tried to accommodate the one vegan request we had however it seemed to provoke some confusion as we had to wait longer for the vegan meal whilst the rest of our party were told by the waitress to carry on eating or the food would go cold leaving a single member of our party to sit and watch us eat. We did not complain last night and paid the bill, many thanks, Steve.

Very poor service, very dated restaurant and very average yet overpriced food. Nobody smiled at us once, we were ignored in a relatively quiet restaurant.
