Great food and really good service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try authentic Indian food. Make sure you book in advance, as I could tell while waiting for our food, that the place is popular among locals.
Food was really good but the service is bad. Not enough staff and seems stupid that only one person can take food orders so it's very slow to order. Had to ask for the bill 3 times. The food however is very tasty.
Amazing food and amazing staff and venue. Staff were super helpful and opened up earlier than normal so we could have our table a bit longer. Highly recommend
Is the best Indian food outside of India. Imaginatively spiced and cooked to perfection. Especially loved the biryani. Plan to go back several times soon
authentic Indian restaurant great food everything nice. many thanks to all definitely we back soon. restaurant highly recommended
By far the best indian meal in the jewellery quarter if not birmingham. This was the 2nd visit for my wife and I and yet again it was fantastic.must try
The Viceroy Tandoori is a great find. I visited for my birthday and experienced lovely food and service. The surroundings are modern and there was a really nice warm ambience. Will return again!
Easy to find location and parking nearby. The restaurant had contemporary decor. The tables were not too close together. Good food and excellent helpful service.
Very nice food and light and modern surroundings. Its good to be able to see the chefs at work. We will definitely come here again. This is a refreshing experience compared to traditional curry houses.
Excellent in every way. Would even travel fom Essex to try some of the other dishes! Nothing artificial. Flavour not heat plus the chicken was succulent. Give it a try.
Very attentive service. Food was of very good quality, carefully presented and the price was entirely reasonable. We even found car park in front of the restaurant. Would definitely return.
Had a great evening at the Viceroy Tandoori Restaurant. The service was second to none and very hospitable. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait long I would eagerly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Will definitely go back again.
Excelent food, I've been there a few times and it's always great curry. Service was fast and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy without being crowded. All for a good price.
Loved my experience at Viceroy Tandoori! We went for the £25 banquet and it was incredible. We were so full afterwards but we were so pleased we went for this option so we could try an array of starters and different curries. Very authentic and very polite staff! Food was delicious, no complaints at all. We even tipped a lot more than usual because we were so impressed.
Booked a table here last friday after hearing very good things. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. Would definitley recommend eating here!
Been here twice and excellent both times, great food and service.
The food was good, price is fair. It just we had to wait for a while for the main course, but it's all worth it.
Had poppadoms and then a mixture of curries, the lamb especially was fantastic and melted in your mouth. Service was a little sporadic but not particularly slow. Quite expensive though, paid c.30 per head for one course, a poppadom each + drinks
Fantastic food with fantastic service. A number of our party were late for our reservation but the staff were very accommodating. Food was amazing and all seven of us were very pleased. Will definitely be visiting again.
food was great and the service superb. Well worth a visit.
We had the tasting menu all the dishes were prepared well some were delicious some not to our taste. The prawn and mushrooms stood out. Great service
Considering tgis was the 3rd highest rated restaurant in Birmingham overall and the highest rated Indian. I expected more. Price was very reasonable, staff were nice and good was average to good. But there was no wow factor at all. No problems as such, But the experience will blend in with your average curry house.
The food was delicious, very fresh with good portion sizes. Lovely staff who were very helpful and professional. Will definitely be returning, we highly recommend a visit!
Impressive food and service. The normal varieties of curry are available but these are secondary to the premium dishes, which are all very appealing. The duck breast in a spicy pineapple sauce (annanas hash) was succulent, rich, tangy and not at all fatty. My partner's seafood bhuna with coconut rice was delicious. Easy parking, too. Highly recommended.
Fantastic and original food. Service imepeccable - polite attentive and friendly
Fantastic!😊 ! Great food and great service. Extremely impressed. Will be back on a regular basis.
We chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. A lovely experience.
Very easy to book. We were not disappointed. Good atmosphere, very attentive waiters and food was lovely, very flavoursome . Great playlist which added to the atmosphere.
The food was very good! Try this indian restaurant. We came from Italy to try it!
Another great meal! definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in Birmingham.
Tasty food and great service. Would recommend for an enjoyable night out.
The staff were really helpful and attentive and the food was great. Everything tasted freshly cooked and the menu had an unusual selection of dishes, which is always a bonus. It's only a short walk from a couple of great pubs in the Jewellery Quarter, so is ideally located. The only negative is the actual restaurant itself, it lacks atmosphere. Which I think is a combination of the hard floors and large glass front, it feels more like a cafe than a restaurant.
