Viceroy Tandoori

The Viceroy Tandoori always provides excellent quality and service. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether it's for an 'ordinary' meal or a special occasion. Well worth a visit.

The Viceroy has a simple contemporary feel. A good selection on the menu but not too large an you can see that everything is freshly prepared. Reasonably priced and the portions are generous without being over large. Nice atmosphere and a good location but you may need to check your google maps if you don't know the Jewellery Quarter. Well worth a visit and do book as it gets busy.

Great food and lovely staff. Best curry house in Birmingham so we would not go anywhere else. We were a party of 12 and they managed perfectly.

A nice spacy seating arrangement where families could talk freely, very experienced and polite staff and there is no match to food. I have been visiting restaurants for the last 50 years I have had never so much tasty food before bit expensive but all good things cost money. I am really proud of having such a quality restaurant In Birmingham. I will definitely go again and make sure I am hungry because of the rich quality and quantity of the food served. Great food and service. Couldn't fault anything. A great Bangladesh prawn starter with fantastic flavours and a lime and coconut chicken main with pilau rice and garlic naan. Restaurant was busy from around 730 onwards but it didn't affect the service

Food was lovely. Drinks are a bit expensive though. They were very busy and were turning people away who hadn't booked. We will definitely go again.

Great Service and very good food: the tandoori king prawns were very good. The ratio quality price is good and we will surely come back.

All I can say is we dined there on the 6th August for the first time, the staff are the very best, they are so friendly and helpful, the food was so very tasty and plenty to fill you, we had such an enjoyable evening we stayed long after the other diners had left and the staff were great, the restaurant is very clean and spacious between each table, and we were made to feel very comfortable, we really look forward to booking again, big thumbs up to the staff, excellent restaurant 10/10

Excellent restaurant - food was everything you wanted it to be - hot and tasty. Would definitely return there and recommend it highly. Staff were pleasant at all times and the restaurant was busy - surely a good sign!

Great food and friendly professional service we live locally so will definitely be returning. Recommended if you are in the jewellery quarter. Good value for wine too.

This was our second visit, and we were much less impressed than the first time. The service was professional and very polite, but slow - it took quite a while before our orders were taken. Our biggest problem, though, was that all of the food tasted much too sweet!

Been here numerous times and as always a lovely welcome, great food, good quality with good service. Always try something new each time we go and it never disappoints.

Very pleasant Indian meal in clean modern surroundings. Classic dishes offered along with more interesting variations. We perhaps expected more (something different) based on other online reviews, but did enjoy our meal none the less.

This is a wonderful Indian Restaurant, I couldn't fault it. The food was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating - one of our party wanted something a bit different, so they took her brief and came back with a dish that tasted amazing and was exactly what she wanted. We also wanted to have a bit of a mixed starter (which isn't on the menu) and this was provided with no problem but just a warning it is quite large, so make sure you leave room for the mains!

great staff, delicious food + received complimentary starters, nice experience, will go there again..... drove there so parking was not an issue, recommend that you visit and try out the food

Very accommodating with booking as texted me back when they had a cancellation for my preferred reservation time, great table, good atmosphere and stylish interior, staff very friendly and chef accommodated special requests. Beer (mongoose) and red wine good. 10 out of 10 for food presentation and taste, heat exactly as ordered. Would definitely recommend this resturant.

Very nice food better than your typical curry house, service was good although we had to chase it a little which is probablh the style of service offered rather than a shortcoming. Will certainly be back.

This is a great restaurant. We were in Birmingham for the tennis and we dined here twice. They accommodated us at 9 PM Sunday evening without hesitation and again later in the week. Will definitely be coming back when next in Birmingham. Would highly recommend.

fabulous food and service. really enjoyed it. we were staying at the airport, so it was quite an effort to get there. However, well worth the time and money. The only downside is that we wanted to try many more dishes than our stomach's could absorb. woudl be great if they had sampling menus available.

The food was really good food but the room was noisy, and the music not very adapted. The decoration is really minimalist. We had a good evening.

Went there along with couple of friends. The decor is good. We ordered Paneer, Lamb and chicken for starters. Everthing was just perfect. The main course was also very delicious. The server asked us our preferences and the food was perfectly as per our liking. I've been to many Indian restaurants in Biingham and can easily say that this is the BEST one. Will love to go back.

Really good meal, very nice environment, friendly and efficient waiters. Korma for my mild curry eating son was delicious, chicken balti was similarly good and the man and poppadoms spot on, what more can you ask.......
