Amalfi Valentinos

We have been regular visitors to Valentinos for many years. The food and service has always been great. The children's menu offers a wide choice.

Made to feel really welcome on Mother's Day! Gorgeous food as always, mum had a ball!! The mozzarella starter is probably my favourite thing in the world 😋😋

Excellant restaurant, nice atmosphere and lovely food. Good service, friendly staff and good value. Nice for couples, special occasions and celebrations. I recommend a visit.

Very busy but we were sat immediately and had our order taken efficiently. Good was good quality and they were attentive throughout the meal. Very good experience

Lovely restaurant and have been there many times but in this occasion very dissatisfied. Order garlic mushrooms which were very nice but had to wait 40 mins for next course and that was only after asking if it was coming. Asked for 2 medium steaks and bith came rare. We both sent them back and my steak changed to one that looked totally different in size and shape and was burnt, left most of it as it was awful. My wife's came back what looked like my steak and was still rare so sent it back again. She ate half and left the rest. Good point was they gave me a free ice cream and a round of drinks for all 4 of us as it was my birthday and knocked the price of 1 steak off the bill. Shame as we like the restaurant. Maybe just a bad day for the chef.

Our overall experience was that the service was and surroundings were excellent. But unfortunately 5 people out the the party of 7 commented that the food was extremely salty including the pizzas and a couple of the tomato based pasta dishes.

Excellent food (as usual) and table service was spoiled by -: 1. An out of date wine list on every table advertising wines no longer stocked, at a lower price than the price of the replacement wine, which was much more expensive. Reason given was that the food menu on the front was in date however the wine list on the back was out of date. I would suggest a reprint so that everything is up to date and a little less confusing. 2. Having to pay separately for our "fizzy" drink while waiting at the bar for our table to be prepared. Reason given was that bar staff sometimes forgot to add these drinks to the table bill. I suggest that it cannot be beyond the wit of man to either improve the staff efficiency or review the technology.

Excellent food and service, would recommend a visit. Nothing too much trouble for anyone. Good atmosphere. Quick and easy to book a table online, book in advance to save disappointment.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and could not do enough to help. The place was clean and decor was pleasing to the eye. The food was cooked fresh for each order and was excellent

Impeccable customer service. Food second to none. Monthly customers. If you haven't being, your taste buds are missing out. The price you pay is too good, the taste, the environment and the staff make it worth the best restaurant in Yorkshire.

Excellent meal and service from Valentinos yet again. Never been disappointed. Highly recommend. Even though it was busy all staff was very attentive. Until next time.

Quality food and attentive service. Nice family friendly atnosphere and the staff make a lovely fuss of the kids, makes them fell special. Please by evening out as always.

The food was amazing, The staff excellent. The only floor was that it was so loud but all in all a really nice place and wonderful restaurant.

Came with my girlfriend on valentines day 7pm. Great food, staff quick and helpful friendly atmosphere. Happy with pricing good value for money. Will be back again.

Smooth reservation process. Table was ready for when we arrived. Great menu with many Valentine's specials (could have picked another dozen things to try quite easily). Staff were very friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming here again....

The food and service were fantastic, but our table backed onto another and there wasn't much room for staff/customers to move in-between. My Husband was constantly having to pull his chair in and being squashed. It was Christmas Eve though and was very busy. We would still visit the restaurant again though.

I've given valentinos top mark for Brill food tasted spot on also staff we're welcoming very polite and assured we was ok and satisfied after every course and drink they couldn't of helped more. Food came very quickly. Thank you valentinos for brilliant service and food.

Really nice food and great service. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Pleasant atmosphere and great food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys good food

Wasn't bad but I won't be going back in a hurry. Food was average and too many staff (young girls) walking past the table a hundred times cos there was nothing for them to do!!!!

Was busy for a Friday night could see several birthday parties booked in. However some had not arrived yet and at 5.30pm service was very slow. Our order was not taken till 6.05pm the few starters came okay but it was nearly half an hour before the main course came. My Father-in-laws Calzone was undercooked and my wifes Pasta dish was a little underdone. Apart from that the food was good. Staff friendly but why did it take 3 waitresses to clear one table ! So very slow service, more attention to food but okay. Have had better at Valentinos

Excellent friendly atmosphere and staff , good food and choice of wine

I have been here several times before but never on a Saturday. Tonight the staff excelled them selves, the staff were attentetive and friendly and I would give them 5 stars a credit to the management and the food was perfect. A truly lovely evening.

So fresh and gorgeous ... Will definitely go back .. we went for a family meal .. such good quality produce .. a Star.. :)

Six including two children, busy Saturday evening. Staff very friendly and obliging, food very prompt without rushing us at all. Will definitely be back soon.

Service and food was great. However, Fillet steak portion was very small for price of the dish. Overall experience good with a lovely atmosphere though.

We found the waiter we very friendly and the food came out very quick and was made to a very hi standard we really enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere in the restaurant was brilliant, the food fantastic and the service superb. We will be sure to return. A1++++

Lovely Italian, great food, attentive service, only a little slow but overall a great experience. Good size servings and great value for money. Will return!

Our visit on Sunday 26th July 2015 was excellent, it was a treat for my wife's birthday, the staff were very pleasant with a nothings too much attitude, the food was delicious and cooked to perfection and what surprised us was the final bill, our food and drinks were value for money. Thank you to all the staff at Valentino's for making our visit special, we will see you all again soon Kind Regards Allan

An enjoyable evening, lovely food and friendly helpful staff. Good atmosphere.

Delicious food, as always.. I had the bread, oils & tapenade to start - Valentinos bread/dough sticks are my favourite thing here, I have them every time I go! Followed by lasagne, which again is a personal favourite & perfectly cooked - packed with lean meat & a gorgeous tomato sauce, with a sprinkling of freshly grated parmesan! Only criticism is we felt rushed again, no sooner put our cutlery down after finishing our starters, than waiter came to clear & brought out our mains.... Shall still return & always recommending it to others! :)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and drink were very good and reasonably priced. My only slightly adverse comment would be that I was surprised that no one came round to ask if our food was alright during the course of our meal. Apart from that a very enjoyable experience.

Good service, seated straightway, excellent quality of food. Children made to feel welcome and all staff helpul and polite. Reasonably priced also. We visit here fairl regularly and it is always good.

Very pleasant visit and extremely nice food. The restaurant itself is set out good with a bar area well away from the tables so you're not bothering anyone who's eating. We both had steak and I have to say it was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. Not been for a while but won't be long before I go back.

This is our local restaurant. The food is always good and the service efficient and friendly. It may not have Michelin star but if you want a reasonable value meal in pleasant surroundings I don't think you'll be disappointed. We never have been.

We really enjoyed our visit to Valentinos - as usual the service was friendly and efficient and the food was top class. Can't wait for our next visit here!
