Superb selection of food and drinks. Locally sourced and excellent quality. Fast, efficient and friendly service with a smile. We love it here.
Excellent service and good food well served. Will call again soon.
Delicious food. Waited rather a long time for our Cream Tea (scone) to come, tea went cold. Had already paid the bill including the service charge, not ideal when you don’t know the level of service you will get at that point.
Kept being asked, by different staff, for our order. Plates taken when we hadn’t all finished. Pleasant old world tearooms and plenty of choice on the menu. Only drawback was the lack of parking.
Really lovely, little find. Food is lovely, the service was fab and the gardens/river out the back was gorgeous (thanks for letting us know about it). We will definitely be back 👍. Sharon & Darren Helm, WD19
We had to change our time due to traffic but the staff were exceptionally accommodating and although meals were finished the meal we had was great Thanks
A great dining experience at Upwey Tearooms although an extra busy day as had a Holistic Fair, event on but amazing service and delicious food ..
Lovely food and great service in a beautiful location. Will be visiting again soon!

Lovely setting, ace food especially the quiche !! Great service
Friendly staff and a lovely setting, will definitely return and try lunch next time.
We visited for a birthday. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. They had a fabulous selection of cakes & the food we ordered was delicious.
Great food and a nice atmosphere. A bit loud for Mum. quite old and a bit deaf !! Parking a bit sparse
Excellent food, great atmosphere and lovely garden. Thank you. 😀
Excellent, attentive service. Delicious cakes and sandwiches. Thank you !
Lovely tea room, went to see holy well and gardens at same time
Excellent platter and cake Always a pleasure to eat at the wishing well
The venue and atmosphere are lovely. It was great walking around the garden along side the crystal clear water. The warm GF apple cake with clotted cream for me and the cheese scone for my wife was excellent. We decided to return later in the afternoon for something savoury, all of which were wonderful. Thank you! We Will come again and bring friends 😊👌 Phil Wadham
Beautiful place ! Highly recommended! Gardens are stunning also. Thank you
All round fantastic lunchtime well-spent. We were picking up a print from the wonderful Art2Card gallery next door and tied it in with a long overdue visit to Upwey Wishing Well. We were a bit early but it wasn't a problem. We decided to take a walk around the gardens of course which are so beautiful and calming with the water running through them and all of the lovely walkways. Lunch was outstanding and great value; really first class. We took some of their amazing Dorset Apple Cake and Dorset Honey away too! A completely wonderful experience, including the service...from beginning to end! - We'll be back with friends and family soon!
The venue is gorgeous. The food stylish and value for money. The cakes are AMAZING and the wishing well water garden is charming. Moreover, the staff were attentive, funny and friendly. Really suitable selection for children too. Would advise booking.
Everything was fantastic as always. Delicious food and friendly staff.
Absolutely love the Wishing Well, lovely people, amazing food and just a Beautiful place.
Excellent Sunday Roast, much better than the pubs I’ve been to in Dorset!!! Great value for money!
Today I took my sister to the upwey wishing well for lunch ,as usual the whole restaurant was busy busy as always on a Sunday ,the waiting time was not a problem , we were shown to our table and served our drinks ,the food soon followed and as always at the wishing well did not disappoint every mouthful was just delicious ,yes it was busy but the staff all pulled together to deliver first class service coupled with first class food , fully recommend anytime ,
Lovely setting, friendly service, eggs Benedict very tasty if slightly pricey and needing a 2nd slice of toast. Coffee not the best tasting but ok for thirsty walkers
Excellent; good food; good atmosphere. We will certainly return here
Great food served with a smile and a lively atmosphere
Lovely lunch served by very polite staff. The cafe is extremely dog friendly.
What a beautiful place! We came on a wet Aprils day but that didn’t spoil the beautiful stroll around the gardens. The afternoon tea was delicious and the service was wonderful. Made for a very happy birthday
Absolutely wonderful!!! Staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we felt happy with our delightful afternoon tea! Excited to go back soon x
Great food and service. Beautiful setting. Lots of choice on menu.
Lovely really enjoyed our time there lovely staff and lovely food enjoyed walking around :)
Only down side was people kept leaving the door open causing a draft which was somewhat annnoying. The grounds beautiful but wet in areas. The staff, food and drinks were lovely. Worth a visit any time.
We had the most amazing lunch today for my mum’s birthday followed by a lovely walk in the gardens. Will definitely be back soon.
Great place and a beautiful garden, one of the nicest places Iv visited in a long time Thank you
Easter at the Wishing Well was really good. Great brunch for the kids, substantial menu for adults to chose from. Peter Rabbit visit & Easter Trail were excellent. Food delicious & staff so good.
Food, service, atmosphere all superb. Loved the Easter Bunny theme
Fantastic lunch, been looking forward to coming for a long time and it didn’t disappoint, fantastic food, atmosphere and the staff were fantastic.
Lovely pretty place, food was great, we had the quiche which was delicious! Great service. Lots of children having fun egg hunting!
Friendly welcome. Really lovely food. The gardens busting into spring. Will be returning in the summer for another visit.
N Ice fish pie served well thank you on my wife’s birthday
There was a techical problem with loading our order but we were unaware of it until we asked again for our drinks. At that point, our order was re-submitted which caused a further delay. One main meal was Chicken Schnitzel and, we felt, value for money. A Buddha Bowl was the other main course and it was disappointingly small, and not good value. The Hot X Bun bread and butter pudding was also small for the price; on the other hand, the Lemon Pavlova was both generous and delicious. The restaurant was busy, both inside and out, and the staff worked hard. However, we have had better experiences at this restaurant / tearooms.
Good food, excellent service and friendly helpful people. We’ll be back!
The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and the ambience of the restaurant is homely. We have been on different occasions and have never had a bad meal. I definitely recommend a visit 😁
We booked last minute for Easter Sunday lunch. Fortunately they had just had a cancellation and fitted us in. Service was great, staff very friendly and food was excellent.
We had a really lovely Easter lunch here with a walk around the garden before we sat down. As always, the food was delicious, very well presented and plentiful. Staff are always really attentive, would highly recommend!
Great quality food & coffee, served by happy people, in a beautiful garden. Magnificent 🌻
