Very pleased with it overall. My older parents were pleased with being recognised and I was grateful the owner spoke to me regarding some concern. Service was wonderful and we enjoyed our meal. Thank you.

Great visit to these charming tea rooms, sat in the gardens with a beaufiul view and had a delicious brunch - I had eggs benedict with crispy bacon, a fresh pot of tea, followed by a slice of cake, food was wonderful! Staff very friendly and helpful too

We thoroughly enjoyed our cream tea. Myself in particular was really pleased as I got a plain scone (something not always available). It was delicious.

There was a wedding party on, that was moved inside due to the weather. It was all dealt with quickly and professionally- dispute how busy it was the staff couldn't have been nicer if they tried. The food was lovely and fresh, the prices good value. We will definitely go again and recommend them to others. Beautiful setting, nothing to much trouble. Many thanks to all

Delicious Sunday lunch. Roast beef cooked medium rare, very tender. Plenty of vegetables (roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, red cabbage, peas, cauliflower cheese) & plenty of good gravy. You will not leave hungry! Excellent service. Happy to recommend.

An enjoyable visit, lovely tea and cake and not hurried to leave afterwards. Only small criticism was we had to wipe our table (in the marquee) before we sat down as covered in salt/sugar from the previous customers.

The worst homemade cake that I have ever had there!! Bakewell Tart. Dry filling and brittle pastry!! Usually everything is excellent and above expectations!! Sorry Wishing Well for these comments!!

We booked early for Sunday roast. The Veggie option was a really tasty souped up version and was lovely and moist. The pork was soft and tender as was the beef. The accompaniments were very tasty including the tender creamy parsnips. The red cabbage was a revelation with sultanas (not one to be seen) and the endless gravy was very welcome by our veggie partner, who drinks it like soup. Gravy was veggie and meat gravy was also available. Overall a very delicious meal, worth every penny, in beautiful surroundings. We even took a bottle of wine into the gardens for a post lunch drink.

We often go to the Wishing Well. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and super efficient. Lunch Menu is great and food is always delicious. The Afternoon tea at the Wishing Well is amazing. Cakes are delicious/sandwiches and the scones YUMMY!!! Never rushed and the added bonus of the beautiful garden. Highly recommend the Wishing Well

We love visiting Upwey Wishing Well. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There’s an energetic vibe as it’s always so busy there but it’s well organised and runs smoothly. The food and drinks on offer are fantastic and the setting is just beautiful. A great place for family and friends to get together.

Received vouchers from a friend. The weather was glorious and the food fantastic. Started with a young lady (Emily) greeting us with a smile and showing us to our table. Drinks received and a jug of water placed on the table as well. Ordered two chicken snitzel and a chicken burger. Arrived quickly and hot even though by now The Wishing Well was filling up and was quite busy. Very attentive staff (Emily) and another staff member checked to see if everything was OK and if we required anything else. We had a dessert each which arrived, once again, with a 😃 smile. A fabulous place with lovely gardens.

was a bit chaotic as lots of people coming and going. We werent clear if we had to go to the counter to order drinks/food or whether it was table service. Food was good quality but thought it was a little expensive for what we had. Staff were friendly and very happy to help.

visited the wishing well 2 years ago and could not wait to visit again. Loved the grounds, plants and trees but mostly the Wishing Well. Food was exceptional and my nephew said he had the best Victoria sponge ever. I came all the way from Basse Normandy to find smiling waitresses even those the sun was not shimming and the wind was blowing a gust. I hope to come again.....soon
