We had an amazing time. Great food. It’s not cheap but worth it for the quality. A super location and we weren’t rushed out even though there was a wedding. Very good customer service too from friendly staff.

Loved my revisit here, first time about 50 years ago with my Dad, then about 30 years ago with our children and yesterday with my Grandkids. It has expanded but still cute. They loved the gardens and the streams running through. Just a suggestion, I think the kids menu could do with plainer meals, Mac n cheese, and possibly some plain sandwiches. But we all loved the visit. We’ll be back 😍🧁

Upwey Wishing Well is a favourite place to visit when we are in the area. The gardens are gorgeous, the food, excellent and the staff warm and friendly. It is also dog-friendly which is a great bonus.

We decided to give this place a try after it was reccomended to us. Booked a table in case it was going to be busy. Lovely place with really friendly staff who worked really hard. The food was amazing and will definitely come here again. The gardens are nice to look around too.

Love this little hub of good food and lovely cakes. Normally ❤️ Sadly today was not the best experience, lunch was not hot, and the pastry in the vegan dish was ver thick and stodgy 🤨

Lovely afternoon high tea, wonderful selection of cakes and sandwiches with a cream tea, I had a vegan version and the selection was good. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend.

From the moment we arrived we felt special and individual. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The service was impeccable, thanks Ben and Sarah and all the staff. The friendly atmosphere was palpable. The ‘high tea’ was delicious and so much we had to take some of the wonderful cakes home. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

I took my two nieces and they loved it especially the quirkiness of it all We walked around the garden after lunch which is lovely. Food selection was great and staff and atmosphere also.

We had a visitor from London, who is used to dining out... Left the choice of restaurants for the weekend to me...obviously, as a local, living in Upwey,my choice for a traditional Sunday lunch could only be The Wishing Well, we were greeted warmly,by my christian name (I'm a regular there), received great service and the food.... couldn't be faulted, not even by someone who regularly eats in top (pricey) restaurants. ... It was a lovely afternoon, we felt as though we were eating with friends, chatted to people at other tables and showed our visitor true local hospitality, well done and thank you to all the staff, I'll be in for my usual coffee on Thursday 🙂

The very beautiful Upwey Wishing Well! Where to start! This is such a lovely place to go - such a friendly and helpful team, great choice, especially if you’re coeliac. The cafe is set in a beautiful village too… The food is all homemade and absolutely delicious - highly recommend.

The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much for them. Having had a roast dinner in many places , I can honestly say theirs is the best. In fact all of the food we have ever eaten there has been Amazing. 10 out of 10 for the staff and food plus you have the added bonus of walking around the wishing well gardens:)
