Absolutely amazing food, service and ambiance but as a person coming from Baltics I certainly wouldn't consider it a Baltic states and Western Russian cuisine - not this weeks' menu anyway. Otherwise absolutely fabulous; will be going back again :)

Nice decor, interesting food, beautifully presented. Highlight for me was the trout and strawberry which sounded an odd combination, but was really tasty! Good pace to the service.

Great space and lovely service at Two Cats Kitchen in the up and coming Jewelry Quarter. But the food leaves much to be desired - in a nutshell, they are trying too hard. It's difficult with all the competition to be interesting and innovative, different from the rest of the pack but that doesn't mean one should put all the ingredients imaginable into one dish. Quality ingredients should stand on their own, not be bogged down with '29 other ingredients' (like our starter). A lot of potential but Two Cats Kitchen needs to re-think their philosophy and keep it simple.

Wonderful place, lovely service, food was great - although we thought some of the flavours weren't quite there yet.... But give it a year and if hope this place will be getting into stars territory! Excellent value for money at £44 per head! Thanks for a nice meal :)

What a fantastic restaurant! All the greatness of fine dining but with none of the pretentiousness. Recommend highly, and would go again. Go there before it becomes too popular and the prices go up!

Really interesting food! We enjoyed ourselves in the relaxed atmosphere trying the food and wine flight. We especially liked the rhubarb pudding and dessert wine.

Fantastic food which challenged and entertained the taste buds. 6/7 courses were beautiful and would eat any day of the week. However, tables were too close together which meant that waiters lacked the personal touch a little bit because they didn't have the space to stand and interact with the customers.

Excellent, colourful, fresh food with friendly staff and a lovely room. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. Best use of sorrel as a dish I've come across.

A very different meal. If it was not a set menu, I am not sure I would have chosen the courses. All 4 of us enjoyed it but not sure I would rush back. Staff were very pleasant

Lovely food, the only problem was that there was no menu to choose from, just the taster menu and although very nicely presented and delicious the portions were tiny.

This restaurant was fantastic. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and attentive. If you don't like adventorous things this might not be for you. We tired things we wouldn't normally order that's the pleasure of a taster menu such as this.

2 Cats may be the best restaurant in Birmingham. The food is "Baltic" extraordinary and unlike any food I've eaten before. Service friendly and efficient. Ambiance relaxed combination of warm friendly farmhouse kitchen and uber cool. Set tasting menu so no need to choose. Sit relax eat enjoy. Veggies need to let them know in advance (not my problem). Can't wait to go back!

A wonderful and unusual tasting menu perfectly executed to retain each individual flavour- worth the trip from Somerset ! The dining room itself is also full of character, redolent of the Victorian industry of this quarter of Brum.

As we wrote in your little feedback book last night, we had a: delightful, delicious, surprising, unusual, special, amazing, unique wedding anniversary dinner and will most certainly be returning to re-experience the event - next time with some friends in tow. You have come up with a wonderful idea, which we are sure will do very well, especially with the very special team of people you have supporting you both. Best wishes and good luck. Jacquie & Ali

Brilliant food - really interesting and tasty with a few quirks. Favourites were the celeriac 'pasta' and chocolate/brazil nut pudding, but I would happily eat every course again. Excellent service.
