Great food great price. One of the best Thai places in London
The food (pad Thai, massaman curry, green curry and papaya salad amongst others) was all delicious, well presented, and eaten in a cosy, comfortable setting. The staff were very polite, friendly and attentive. Great Thai food, would definitely return.
Amazing food served by lovely people in a great ambiance. And if this were not enough, the prices are definitely affordable. Couldn't ask for more!
Amazing food with great service! I've been a few times and each time is as good as the other. I would 100% recommend to everyone!
Food and service excellent as always, we will be back for another visit soon. We would visit every weekend if we could be available but not always in London.
Lovely food, wonderful attentive staff, no rush. Soup was fantastic & the potions quite big. I was full after soup, chicken & stir fried vegetables.
People probably think there's something wrong with me but can't stop going to this restaurant :)
A warm welcome, good food and cheery ambience. Live music too on Friday evenings when a jazz trio performs. The green papaya salad is worth the detour.
Food was great. But service not good... The waitress misheard our order and then argued with us when she brought a dish that didn't want.
Maybe people would wonder why I keep leaving reviews; it could be the fact that this is the best restaurant I always visit when in London :)
The food here was great, it was quite quiet when we arrived but started filling up later and then the Friday night jazz started. Quite surreal but really enjoyable!
Warm welcome, excellent meal, good value. Nice atmosphere - not too quiet but perfect for proper conversation. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and friends nights out.
Absolutely fantastic!! A must for perfect food and excellent staff. The best Thai in London, by far. The som Tum is incredible ... Try the green curry and coconut rice - superb!!
The restaurant was nicely decorated and the stuff very friendly and fast. A very good service. It is easy to get there, even if you are travelling from northbound. The price is incredible cheap, literally nothing above £9 and a good portion size.
The food was delicious, without exception, particularly the sweet corn cakes. The service was also excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thanks very much.
We love it here and recent shuffle of the waiting staff can only improve what is already a great place to eat. Can't wait to go back.
Superb food, great ambience and attentive staff. Very reasonable price for the quality of food, we would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
Have visited several times and as always excellent food, and service was good too. A bit disappointed our favourite waiter was not on duty, but not their fault.
Friendly and helpful staff! Amazing thaifood - tasted just like in Thailand! New favorite Thai restaurant! I eat the chicken cashew nuts with steam rice - Loved it!
Perfect night yet again. Wonderful food and excellent service. Love this place
The food was really good, as always and the service was fast and unintrusive. We had 2 courses and really enjoyed them. Good value for money.
As always a wonderful meal and exceptional service from all at Tumnan Thai. Food is delicious as always especially the Satay Chicken - no one does it better!
a wonderful restaurant and superb food. will be coming back for sure. Top tip always make sure you reserve as this restaurant is fully packed.
My boyfriend and I ate on a Saturday night. Quick service and delicious food. There was a lovely buzz in the restaurant too. Really worth going.
Came here for end of term meal and all enjoyed it. Recommend this restuarant to everyone and cannot speak more highly of the food and staff here. They make you feel so welcome and I enjoy every visit.
Food and service was spectacular! I will definitely be going again very soon! I highly recommend going and no doubt you will agree with me
Excellent food and excellent service, will be definitely be going back, highly recommended, live jazz music as well which was a nice setting for a first date
Excellent. Perfect service and fantasti staff. Worth while visit and will always return. If there is one place to experience Thai food, this is it.
Lovely Thai food and nice Royal Thai decor. My favourite Thai in London. You must try the sweetcorn cakes on the veggie starter menu if you go - they have kaffir lime in them, yum!
Very busy friday night - so I'm glad I booked the reservation. Food was delicious. However, I do wish that they have a cocktail menu.
Went out as a four had three courses each with 2 bottles of wine and a few soft drinks and a beer and came to £35 each. The food is amazing the best Thai I have had. Friday night was very busy and you need to book, service is great but be aware they can get slammed and you might be left waiting a little but it's not out of carelessness you might just need to remind them. Great staff, great food Highly recommend
Was a very busy Friday night and we got the dud table in the middle of the room. The food wasn't as good as last time we ate here. They don't bring chilli sauce with the prawn crackers, we had to ask twice. Only one rice came out when we ordered two. Chicken larb lacked any of the sweet/salty/spicy balance it needs and was dry and not very nice. Lamb and aubergine was flavoursome but a very meagre portion also it was missing the peppers so was basically a tiny amount of lamb with onion and not much aubergine. Wont' be returning, will try and find a better thai in the area. Shame
We went on New Year's Eve. The staff were both lovely, as always...but the food wasn't as good as usual. Maybe the chef was off or having an off day. Normally it is excellent here but it was missing a certain richness and depth if flavour and finesse.
Perfect service, food and entertainment. Can't beat it if want a great night out
Perfect perfect perfect!!! Always make sure I go back for more
This was the best Thai I've ever eaten. Food was top notch and the ambiance was very good, we all had a wonderful evening here :)
I went there for my birthday dinner. Absolutely delicious food and very good value for money! It was very busy so we could not stay longer than we planned. I would definitely come back soon.
The older man here is just sooooo rude! Such a shame as the food is great! We wanted to show our friend what a great place this is ... We go at least once a month. But last night we had just about had enough. There is an older waiter who is just rude! He doesn't care about customers and is almost as bad as the lady boy who was sacked! Maybe he will go soon as he will bring the business down. He doesn't have eye contact and really seems like he'd rather be somewhere else ... Quite frankly ... So would we!! If you like great food then it's a must; if you can't tolerate rude people then find somewhere else!
Excellent food and service as always. Definitely a must for anyone liking Thai food
Worth to go Tamnum lovely food beautyfull Ambitious polite staff everything quick and nice hot and spicy delicious I been second time is good place to go local and not expensive.
Most authentic Thai food outside of Thailand we had so far! Prices are very reasonable, food tastes great and staff was very helpful. Spiciness of meals were adjusted to our preference from mild to 'Thai spicy'. Definitely coming back. Highly recomended.
Fabulous food. Very authentic. A hidden gem in Clapham! Lovely atmosphere. Very accommodating staff. Celebrated my friends birthday and it couldn't have been a better evening.
I keep reviewing this restaurant since it is a home away from home. Top quality food and service
Although the food was absolutely delicious, the service was not. The waiter needs to be encouraged to smile, be more friendly and social. He was a bit of a mood dampener. The young lady who helped serve us just once, was much more friendly, which was a welcome change. Would still recommend for the quality of the food.
Tonight we were disappointed with the staff. They lacked the professional polite manner they normally have. Same staff, just didn't seem to want to be there working. Shame, because that's all part of the experience. The food was good. But based on the poor attitude we think we will leave it for a while. We didn't even want to tip but did! They expected us to use the same cutlery fit the starter for the main course ... We are not in Wagamamas!!! Really disappointing!
Very nice delicious food. Recommended. Not sure about the music system or choice of music though (careless whisper with too much bass). Good value too.
Being my first time in this restaurant, my experience was good! Fantastic atmosphere! I have been accommodated very well and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place if someone is looking for a great Thai restaurant.
Food good, and reasonably priced (as is the wine). Tables are very crammed together, which is a downside). All in all a good meal though.
The food is Delicious and the location is great (5 minutes walk from Clapham Junction station). The service is superb, they are super fast and kind!
This was a nice surprise - we were looking for good Thai food in the area, and we found it! All four of us were happy with our starters and mains. It was very good value for the price. The house red wine was better than the highest priced wine on the menu. Will definitely be back again!
