Steak was unreal nice little place for nice food !

Amazing food at a very top quality. Well worth the money spent, will 100% be back. The staff were also lovely and very welcoming throughout our meal.

The most delicious fillet steak I've ever had, cooked to perfection. Special mention for the delicious peppercorn sauce too. Service was professional and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Sunday dinner and not too expensive. Will be back.

Food delightful lot's of choice, staff very friendly and efficient and surroundings very pleasant. Would recommend to family and friends. Would certainly return to this restaurant.

Nice food but the the best I’ve had and a bit pricey too steak came out cold first time and had to be sent back for the price I’d expect more !!!!!

We had a starter each, a main and shared a starter and had soft drinks on a Sunday lunchtime and the bill came to £78. Far too expensive for during the day. The starter was very small but tasted gorgeous (we had chicken satay) The steak was nice but it should have been outstanding for the cost of the meal and I expected it to be less chewy. The sweet potato fries were soggy and I couldn’t taste the honey and chilli on them. The creamed leeks were delicious and so was the peanut bar dessert. Overall we really enjoyed our meal.

My wife and I were really impressed with the menu. We opted for the sharing fillet and we were really impressed with the food! Compliments to the chefs!

The Food was great however service was a little slow, but the restaurant was busy. Probably only needs a couple of extra people on duty and everything would have been great.

Food was perfect but the service from the staff was really slow. For example, we asked for 2 drinks and had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to arrive. Other than this everything was great.

We were disappointed with the experience at Tomahawk Yarm. The food quality was not the same as the Tomahawk in Potto restaurant which is a shame.

My Ribeye steak was very chewy and it had a lot of fat in it. I was very disappointed, therefore I will not be returning again.

Nice evening. Very friendly, attentive service. Shared Chateaubriand - came with 4 included side dishes. Portions quite small though, so overall we felt the bill was quite expensive relative to similar places. (And that was without paying the premium for Wagyu steaks!)...

The restaurant looks nice, staff are OK. Food was nice but very small portions and no vegetarian main offered. Would go back though, it was a pleasant night.

Food was really lovely, but the service was terrible. My friend and I were there on a Tuesday night, so not as if it was a busy weekend night. Had to wait ages for everything, and chase drinks etc. Plenty of staff milling around but none of them really doing a lot! Heard others chasing for drinks, bill etc and spotted people sitting with dirty plates that weren't cleared for a long time. Needs to be much more slick. Does put me off rushing back.

Great service, great setting but food was disappointing. Not all food was hot and one of the steaks wasn’t really up to expectation. Sorry. X

Lovely food and atmosphere, excellent service and a great night. Food arrived quickly and the prices were very reasonable. Only comment was that the squid was extremely salty.

Food was beautiful but two drinks orders were ‘forgotten about’ had to remind the waitress and she apologised profusely. Bar is far too small. 2 bar staff for the resteraunt and the rooftop terrace. I would visit again but not on a weekend when it’s busy.

The service was spot on - attentive but not bothering us, and the food was amazing! I had a lovely cocktail. We didn’t have to wait long. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!!

Lovely Sunday lunch and great service, there's a nice atmosphere and option to sit out on the terrace for a drink afterwards if you want

The food in Tomahawk was excellent, however the service needs improving. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to come after we had sat down and the bottle of wine we ordered with our food came after we had eaten our starters.

We very much enjoyed our recent meal for my daughter's 15th birthday. The staff were very polite and friendly and made my daughter a mocktail for her birthday as well as decorating her desert plate. This is the first time we have visited the Yarm venue and will definitely be returning

Food was fantastic. Service was very good and we were well looked after by the staff. But it was very noisy and really warm in the restaurant.

Have been to potto 3 times so wasn’t sure if it would have been as good as Potto but it was. Had a lovely meal and our waiter was very nice and at the end of the meal he said we were welcome to still stay at the table and have more drinks if we wanted. We will definitely be back

Staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and nicely decorated as well. Noticed there was a terrace where you can have a drink in open air but didn't try it. Overall very good and would recommend it.

I was a little disappointed in my steak! I ordered a rib eye medium rare and I think I got a sirloin. It was cooked medium rare but it didn’t have the eye, it had a rim of fat suggesting to me it was a sirloin. Also it was rather chewy...hence we took home what I left for the dog!! My sister in law enjoyed her rib eye which incidentally had the eye!!

Best fillet steak i have ever tasted. Cooked and seasoned to perfection The queen scallop starter was excellent too Party of 4 and all of us were very impressed

10 out of 10 very nice meal and service thanks we will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Went for the early bird deal which was excellent value too.

We were warmly greeted and shown to the terrace for a drink before being shown to our table. Food was unbelievable, all guests agreed one of the best steaks we have ever had. Thank you and will be booking again soon

3 of us all had a differently cooked steak , all 3 were cooked perfectly, we had different sides and enjoyed them all . service was good

The Yorkshire Waygu was really delicious and beautifully cooked. We we be going back to try the other steaks! Good location, modern clean venue and pleasant staff.

Fantastic never had steak like it great service with friendly staff I recommend the tomohawk steak to share we will definitely be back I can’t recommend this place enough

Amazing meal, gorgeous surroundings in both the restaurant and rooftop terrace and fabulous service! Everyone in the party thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back soon ☺️

Delicious food - steaks cooked to perfection and great professional service. Much busier than Potto, so a completely different experience - but same great standards.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Delicious rib eye steak cooked to perfection. Reasonable pricing. Not sure about the plastic Friesian cow above the doorway, it's a milk producing animal.

Second time there and they managed to squeeze in a party of 12 at short notice. The food was amazing again!

Lovely surroundings, friendly and attentive staff and superb food. We had sirloin steak and Chicken ‘Parmo’ and they were delicious. This was our first visit and we will definitely return.
