Tinto Tapas - Battlefield

Service was a bit slow but at least friendly. Food was excellent. Nice small and cosy restaurant. Need to try more of the tapas menu - all great so far. Will be back for sure!

Meal and service was very good. We go to Tinto frequently and never disappointed especialy since Jamie has taken it over its whole outlook is much better especialy as the door has been moved it is not so drafty. Will certainly be back very soon.

Lovely rrstaurant, fantastic foods great choice, great service wirth a visit. Fantastkc atmosphere. Ery spanish decor and music. Staff very helpful with suggestions. Plentt if riom at tables to sit comfortable.

Delicious and authentic Spanish tapas with friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Amazing value as all tapas half price on a Tuesday. Looking forward to returning.

Good welcome and lovely food as always. Restaurant was very busy usual Tuesday. Service was fab and staff still took time to chat and recognise us as previous customers.

Never fails to meet expectations ... staff are great food is amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Spanish Tapas don’t go anywhere else. Simply wonderful!!!

Food was rather oily. Staff were nice and cannot fault them but personally feel the food was too oily and it was expensive for the amount we had to eat

Cosy, authentic Spanish restaurant. As a warm evening, we felt we were in Spain. Food excellent with generous portions. Pretty good value & lovely staff too.

Loads of choice of tapas including vegetarian options. Service was great, food was amazing and the atmosphere is lovely. The only downside is the size of the place, they could easily fill the tables 2 times over and it is a little cramped especially when all tables are full.

The restaurant was incredibly busy so we had to wait for our table and then wait ages to place and order and then when our food came we were waiting on the sauces for a really long time and since we were tucked away in a corner we didn't get the option to order more drinks or even grab a member of staff for anything so it was quite disappointing. The food though as always was delicious but if it's that busy again I'd advise going elsewhere so you get proper service.

Dined here last night for special occasion. Fantastic food! Was told we only had table for one and a half hours. Wasn’t told this when I booked online.

Tintos food is really amazing, the most authentic Spanish food I have tasted. Definitely reccomend! All the flavours complimented each other and the Patatas y queso is so yum!

Really enjoyed my food at Tinto Tapas tonight the food was delicious and the service great. Fabulous choices of specials and great to get paella in a small plate.

Reasonably priced Great food. Friendly service .it was a lovely day and we sat at the big folding window at the front . Almost like eating outside ! Would definitely go back

Absolutely fantastic. There is no better tapas in Glasgow than tinto. It is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic staff and great food. They all make you feel welcome!

It was okay...expensive for what it was but some dishes very tasty. Service was fairly slow but staff were very pleasant. Would consider going back at some point.

Food was fantastic. We had pre-booked for 4.30pm but didn't get taken until back of 5, they were extremely busy due to the event at Hampden. The staff were great in explaining what happened and kept us updated. We went into the bar next door to wait. The portions were really good and the Cava Sangria was lovely, will definitely return.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Stood out in the rain waiting to be seated, hiked the prices up massively due to Ed Sheeran concert. £18.95 for 3 tapas that were not value for money. They could have recovered with good atmosphere and staff but staff were unfortunately poor and had little regard for their customers. To top things off they waited until the end of the meal when we wanted to pay to tell us the card machine wasn’t working and they could only accept cash. Was very obvious this was a massive inconvenience as we had waited a while for our food and were rushing to a concert.

Tinto Tapas is great except the spaces which are quite small. We waited for quite long before the food come, perhaps it was because of the busy dining hours.

Great atmosphere, food and very friendly service. Don't expect quick service with the logistics but the food is well worth the wait. Lovely evening, pre birthday with the folks - also began my 40th celebrations here a few years ago. Fab local restaurant and hope the other branches are as good.

Booked table at short notice for my son's birthday, intended to eat and move on but had a lovely meal and stayed for a few more drinks.

Great meal, lovely atmosphere. Good value for money and close to Hampden. The sherry was great (PX) and the choice of food was vast! All round good time was had.

Outstanding food, wine & service. Real challenger for best south side restaurant. Staff are constantly running about but not too busy for a friendly word or recommendation. Will be back ASAP.

Excellent meal, huge choice,very warm friendly place,the staff are all very helpful & attentive despite being busy.the portions are very generous & were served very quickly. We will return.

On previous visits to Tinto I have always been impressed with the quality of food and service. Having not visited Tinto for a couple of years, I was disappointed that it didn't live up to its former standards. The steak in the butifarra was tough as old boots and many dishes were lacking in flavour. The best of the bunch was the Fabada, which was much waterier than in most Tapas restaurants but still had a rich smoky flavour. Unfortunately, we were left waiting for our bill for about half an hour, and gave up waiting on the card machine. I hope that Tinto can return to its former glory soon.

Excellent food, fab drinks & great service from all staff. Will definitely be back. Particularly enjoyed the goats cheese & caremalised onion with rocket salad, one of my favourites!

Really friendly, cosy tapas bar and restaurant in Glasgow’s Southside. Good food selection and quality. Would definitely go again! Very enjoyable experience, recommended to anyone.

This is a lovely small restaurant in Battlefield with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are great and very helpful and the food is delicious! A must fir everyone!

Great wee place food was exellent and staff very friendly myself and my family ate some dishes we would never thought of trying before. We will be back
