Outstanding Sunday lunch, quality, quantity in a brilliant location. Veg was cooked perfectly and meat from blackwells, nothing better. Will become a regular location for me. Cheers.

Very nice place. Great staff along with excellent food. First time they had done a Sunday lunch sitting and it was great. Highly recommended. We are booked again for next month.

I love it here. We’ve been a few times now but today was their first monthly Sunday lunch sitting. The food was exceptional. We’re about to book again!!

Gorgeous quirky and lovely staff! Menu very confusing and all dishes came out at different times, however she did mention this and said the plates would come once ready. We ordered chicken leg thinking it would be a chicken leg but it was a patte type dish made with chicken leg, it was delicious but not what I was expecting, I would recommend starters and mains as a choice on menu and also the £40 tasting menu would be definitely better £20 each as £40 a lot when you don’t know what’s coming, I would come again if menu was simpler

Fabulous and unusual food. We had the tapas menu. Lovely surroundings and attentive staff. Look forward to our next visit. Recommend the rhubarb gin with ginger ale.

Our first visit and most certainly not our last. The restaurant is in a cellar which gives the place an nice intimate atmosphere. The food is well prepared and presented and the staff are welcoming and attentive

Beautiful food but a little expensive for what we sampled; the bill came to £120

What a find ! Loved the venu , so authentic. Only beaten by the quality of the food , the best steak I have ever tasted . Lovely enthusiastic informative staff with a sense of humour. This will become a regular place to visit . Booked for Christmas Eve it was so good . Congratulations on your amazing restaurant .

Excellent food, lovely venue & great staff too. We’ll definitely be back to visit this place. We had the early bird menu too so the price was very reasonable.

We were very impressed by the standard of food. Every dish was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Though the drinks service was very slow, the overall service was relaxed and very considerate towards dietary requirements and we will definitely visit again. We selected the Chef’s menu and received one high quality dish after another. Word of warning though, make sure you are ready for a food marathon if you order this tasting- the food keeps coming and is too good to waste!

Fantastic meal. But had to wait over an hour before we got food when neighboring table came in 1/2 an hour after us and were served ahead of us. Otherwise a great night out

Lovely food but some of the smaller plates were a bit expensive for what they turned out to be. We'll know better next time what to order as this was our first visit.

Lovely evening . I hate big overloaded plates of food so this was perfect , we had two mains and two sides to share , scallops , salmon , crushed potatoes and greens . All delicious and staff very attentive as usual . Home made bread is delicious .
