Everything went very well. Good pies! Nice service. Very quiet day so we had the place almost to ourselves.

Great location only 5-6 min walk from the station and buses go right on the corner. Our waiter was excellent, very antive and polite. Our dinners were very good as was dessert.

Disappointed this time, busy and service was awful. There didn’t appear to be enough staff waiting on the tables. I had booked a table for six which ended up squashed near the Christmas tree, we had to push the tree back to make room for three of us. However, the food was fine and once we finally got it ordered it came fairly quickly and the roast was huge!

Fish and chips were great. Fish was absolutely huge and big portion of chips. Very good value for money with the Tastecard

I used to really like the Tommyfield and feel it’s gone way downhill ... I was lured back with a voucher i received in the post but left disappointed. Food was fine (not great) and service was mediocre at best: I actually had to get up from the table twice to retrieve things we’d asked and then waited more than 10 minutes for - glass, cutlery, condiments, etc, It seems ass-backwards that you have to give out £50 vouchers to get locals to come to your restaurant. Why not put your focus on your food and your service, and the custom and loyalty will follow.

The Sunday roast was one of the best I have had in London . The whole of my group (8 of us) were so happy with the foods. Our waiter was ok and friendly but something lacked , previous visits had staff being more chatty and generally friendlier. But over all the whole Sunday lunch Was top.

Lovely pub - great selection of well kept beers. The staff are very helpful and the “Famous Pies” sign on the door is very well earned!

The service was not good. The very young waiter appeared terrified of serving us and it was very hard to get a drink as they only had one competent member of staff serving. The food was however great as always and the manager delightful

Second recent visit to The Tommyfield for Sunday lunch and once again had a great time. Staff here are really lovely and manage a full pub confidently and calmly. Food is very good, especially the baked Camembert to share starter. Lamb burger was a little underseasoned but easily fixed with a bit of salt & pepper. Steak & ale pie was very good. Would (and will) go back.

We ate in the restaurant and stayed overnight. Both were brilliant! Food was delicious, atmosphere was buzzing and staff were lovely. Our room was lovely - furnished to a very high standard and immaculately clean. We loved the complimentary breakfast of fresh orange juice, porridge, fresh fruit, teas and coffee which are all available in your room! Would highly recommend

Sunday lunch for group of 7 friends, very nice, all happy.

Service was good. Food was mixed - I had the cod which was excellent. One of our group had the Sunday roast beef. Unfortunately the vegetables had a curried flavour, which was disappointing for a traditional Sunday roast.

Some dishes were presented & prepared slightly differently to the last time we had them, but that still did not distract from the deliciousness. Service & staff, as usual, are spot on.

Professional set-up & great food. Searing was a little cramped, but staff were very accommodating. Also managed to enjoy the Happy Hour offer, which was a bonus.

Lovely place to visit & fab choice of food/drink. Staff are a delight. As you can imagine, this venue can get busy, but it definitely has a buzz!

Battered halloumi special was very good and great value on Tastecard. Also 2 for 1 on pints of Amstel before 7pm!

Pleasant staff lovely room modern and clean big bathroom and air con! Rooms decorated to a high standard. Are in the pub got discount as staying there evening meal was fantastic and excellent choice if drinks would definitely stay here again and recommend
