Good value and good service. The restaurant has undergone many decorative changes (not for the better), but the core values of the orices remaining very competitive and the staff being very attentive, remains
The restaurtant were very accommodating and friendly. The service was very quick and the food was hot on arrival at the table. I would definately eat there again.
Small and a bit noisy place but we enjoyed nice food and good service. Good value-for money. We will come back. Judit from Barcelona, Spain. Thanks
The food was ok. Service wasn't amazing and they don't do contactless payments. Who on earth in this day of age that's running a business doesn't have contactless payment.
Loved every minute of the experience, love this place, food delicious and service excellent in a perfect location. We'll be back real soon guys thanks so much for everything!
Lovely service and amazing food. Definitely going back again. Enjoyed by all my friends and family. Food was prompt. Waiters were attentive. Can’t fault anything.
Food was good, a few different dishes on the menu. Service wasn't particularly swift but that was fine by us. And very handy for Waterloo!
Fantastic food in a very central location. This is a great restaurant for a quick bite to eat before the train home - or something even more special. Great selection of vegetarian dishes as well!
A very nice restaurant with welcoming staff who were attentive. The food was well presented, good portions and very tasty. I highly recommend a visit to this lovely Curry House.
Lamb balti was so good, and we were struggling for a second dish so the waiter recommended one (can’t remember name) and it was really nice too. Staff really good and a nice layout to the restaurant.
Had to wait ages! The restaurant was busy but the service was really slow, even the drinks took an age. However the food was good.
The waiters were lovely, the food amazing especially the Goan fish curry and the starts - all yum. All in all a great dining experience.
Really good food in this place. I’ve eaten here many times when I’m in London and it’s always been good! Service is great, too! Recommended!
Staff a little abrupt but overall a nice meal. Good selection of meals, although bottled beer a little warm (note to restaurant: never serve warm beer! It’s against the law!!) Would deffo go back as the lamb chop starters were banging!! Turn your fridge up or we won’t come back!!!! NM
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Tasty authentic cuisine, well recommended.
The server didn't even bother to look up my reservastion and we almost ended ut sitting next to the toilets. We ordered Coca-colas that were flat because it was served från a bottle not a tap. The food was ok but it might have been because we were hungry, nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant brags about getting an award in 2011. if it hasn't manage to get it again in seven years I certanily wouldn't brag about it.
Booking very quick and easy, reminder sent just before looking forward to our visit. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Very enjoyable evening and good value for money.
Excellent service, delicious food, very professional all round with a pleasant and in this heat cool atmosphere enjoyed by our whole group. We have never been disappointed !
Reasonable food at a reasonable price. Very good location if you want to meet some friends for dinner and dash across the road for a train at Waterloo
Food was good, but felt like we were inconveniencing the staff from the minute we entered. Would still eat here again though just in case we got them on a bad day.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The service was very good and the food was delicious. Spicy but not too spicy.
Good, inexpensive food and great service. I will keep coming back here if the same standards are maintained. The location is really good as well.
Great food, prompt service. As well as the ‘classics’ they have an interesting selection of houses specials. Pricing as one would expect. Hard to argue with this place
Food very good. Can be noisy in the back part of the restaurant. It was busy so service not quite as fast as normal but ok.
Excellent food and service. Busy restaurant but we were not rushed. Would definitely recommend. In some Indian restaurants we have found the ‘specials’ menu disappointing but here it was the opposite really good well spiced food.
Great food and service. Excellent if leaving London from Waterloo. We had a selection of starters and main courses with rice veg & breads. all fantastic and authentic.
Nice food we eat till we came to UK. We tried lot of restaurants but this is the best. Welcome greetings should be improved. Thanks
The food was nice, the place was not nosy at all and service was even better, i would recomend the Thames for party and dinners.
The curries were OK; not bad but just acceptable. The naans were very small and the rice portions, tiny - about half the size of what we normally get elsewhere. The restaurant is also not very atmospheric, having bright white lighting, so it felt more like we were in a work cafeteria. Positives were the proximity to Waterloo station, Cobra on tap and good dips with the poppadoms. I took visitors from overseas there and don't think it gave them a very good impression of Indian restaurants in London. Overall, not recommended.
We had good service and we really enjoyed the food. Would recommend as a reasonably priced Indian restaurant that is very close to Waterloo station
Very good Indian dishes. Good service and prices. I will recomend this place. I will absoluttely go there next time I will have Indian or Bangladesh dish.
Excellent food and service. Everyone in my party of 8 enjoyed themselves. Plenty of choices. This is my third visit and each time has been very nice. Will be a regular event every time we visit the Hole in the Wall.
If you want a QUALITY curry, this is the place to go. And you have to go there because the restaurant is not signed up with justeat! Boohoo
Upstairs is not the best place to go and eat no atmosphere and squeezed in just to make up numbers, food was OK I've had better there before, little disappointed.
Place was busy, people waiting for tables so its wise to book, currys well spiced service polite and quick, average price, beer on tap is colbra, breads are very good, side orders are a little on the small side but all in worth a vist and would go again
Very enjoyable - managed a large party of 11 with no issues. Quality and price very good (especially for London). Very convenient location for Waterloo station.
Absolutely love this restaurant, have been a lot of times now and have never been disappointed with our meals. The staff are brilliant, always very attentive and very professional. Lovely atmosphere. Great value for money. We liked the new decorated restaurant too.
Service and hospitality was really good. The food is absolutely tasty. The naga lamb was a big hit for me. It's a must visit when in London.
Good food and attentive service. Really happy we booked. By the time we left the place was full. Would go back again if we were in the area.
We were a group of 5 for lunch on a Wednesday. restaurant was empty. We thought the service was good and the food was great!
I only chose this restaurant due to it's immediate proximity to Waterloo station, however it turned out to be brilliant! Our crowd have had lots of curries in lots of London curry restaurants over too many years and this is now one of our new favourites - lots of dishes you've not heard of before, which were all great, plus the menu also had all the usual favourites if you'd prefer to stick to that! Good friendly service too, even though they were very busy, by the way.
Décor a little scruffy but the food was excellent. The restaurant was "buzzing" which is always a good sign. I will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future.
As always, a very good traditional Indian restaurant - the duck dupiaza a regular favourite. Service friendly and quick. Tables close together, so quite noisy, but a good atmosphere.
Great for a decent curry. Good food, very amicable service. Reasonable price- perhaps a little more expensive than it could have been. Overall no complaints.
Excellent, highly recommended. Only reason for no 5 star rating is lack of choice I was given as to seating: would have preferred a table less close to the kitchen: but not a huge issue
Some of the descriptions in the menu weren't clear about what was in the dish, but very good food and good service, quick and helpful.
Fantastic food and service once again!! A gem in the heart of Waterloo. Everything perfect for our needs - early dinner and centrally located for all.
good food and service . We booked as it was very busy and you did feel that they wanted you to move on to free tables but again this was managed well
Good food. The service was friendly, but a little slow at times. Interesting duck and lamb options. Two chillie items are quite hot for some.
Loved it! The Bangledeshi-Indian combination produces some wonderful food. Nice casual place right by Waterloo station and near the County Hall / London Eye area.
