Had a lovely meal after walking out dog around the reservoir. Made to feel welcome…. Dog could have a drink and sat by our table. Food was tasty and portions very generous. Will be back

I took my father, (who needs stick to walk) and had requested no steps, however we were seated at a table down one step and right next to the very busy, kitchen door. We were the first in the restaurant and so I asked if we could move to an adjacent empty table. I was told it was booked for the same time and there were no other tables available. We left approximately 1.5 hours later and the table was still empty! The food was very nice though!

We all had a lovely time and the main food was great. The only complaint was the time it took to arrive, we ordered at around 12:45 but the food did not arrive until 13 :40 I fully understand that they was busy but this seems quite a long time. The only other complaint was the chips we all had was not that hot and seemed to have been warmed up too many times making them quite hrad and some inedible. But overall we had a great time. The waitress was very pleasant to deal with.

Great evening went for steak night just a shame the other customers couldn't be nicer to the staff! Food was amazing left feeling full and wanting to visit again. Staff were amazing.

The food was good and the staff were pleasant. However being seated directly opposite the kitchen with staff constantly coming and out of the noisy swing doors detracted from what was otherwise a pleasant experience

My pig sandwich of pulled pork had not been defrosted properly was icy cold and should have been hot. We booked a table and asked for outside but on arrival found our table had been reserved inside. Ended up sat at the front in the car park as there where no other tables left.

Unfortunately the wait was a long one, very busy but no issue with social distancing, poor staff were run off their feet but remained cheerful and apologetic. Well worth the wait though, 6 empty plates is a clear sign of very good food. We will be returning.

A warm bank holiday Monday, it was very busy, bit of a wait, but the food was first class, staff were brilliant

Lovely lunch at the Strawbury Duck, as always. Only minor criticism was that the tea that we ordered came as a tea bag in a cup of hot water rather than being made in a pot

we ordered fish and chips for 3 of us the fish was almost cremated and paper it came on was swimming in oil.no one came to ask us how our meal was so we left not feeling very pleased.This is not their usual standard

None of the staff , behind the bar or waitress had face masks , bar full and restaurant full no wonder COVID is spreading

All was good but I was concerned at the waiting time to get a drink. On both occasions I was in a queue and not everyone was social distancing like they should, and the pub was not very busy.either. Only one person serving at the bar.

The place is lovely, wasn't too busy. Quite a few girls working the floor, the waitress that we had first didn't mention the specials board. Hummus starter did not taste great. Main meals, the fries were under cooked and the fat chips on mine were hit and miss, some nicely cooked others rock hard. The chicken and peppercorn sauce with the side of greens was lovely though. I hate to leave a bad review as it wasn't all bad, I think it may have just been an off day for the chef as my friend visited the day prior and said everything was lovely, it just didn't meet the great expectations we were hoping for.

Chuky chips spoilt meal,pie was a tin dish with meat and pastry lid.Not a pie.Wont be visting again overpriced
