The girls were all really lovely and the food was spectacular! Worth every penny!

Food okay but service very slow and they were very quiet.

Good fabulous. The vegetables came out with no spoons to serve it so we all had to use our forks. Which we had already put in our mouths so a little unhealthy. The cauliflower cheese was forgotten so we had to ask again for it. But lovely once arrived

Good food, though we did have to wait a while and go to the bar to order, but that was partly our fault for not deciding when they came to take the order initially

Had a nice evening to mark our wedding anniversary and food was lovely . Service prompt & friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere .

Sadly this was not a good dining experience. Having eaten at The Stables on many occasions this was so disappointing . 7 of us booked for a family meal to celebrate 2 upcoming birthdays and at least 4 of the meals were awful. The belly pork was all fat, my grandsons pizza was soggy, my granddaughters Mac & cheese was swimming in grease ( way too much cheese) and her garlic bread was charred. The chips that all of us had were over cooked and hard . It was not a busy Thurs night and service was slow . No staff member came to check if our food was Ok. The best bit of the evening was when I complained at the point of payment and they did actually give me a discount on the bill ! Just yuk! Don’t know what’s going on in their kitchen but they need to sort it out! Won’t be back anytime soon I am afraid!

Very reasonable, good value tasty food and a great welcome. We go regularly but this is no problem as the menu is quite extensive.

Really good as usual. Good choice of food. Just wished they did the smaller appetites Rump steak as not a big eater.

2 of our party of 4 were delayed by traffic diversions and the staff were very understanding. We had a gluten free, a vegan and a vegetarian in our party and all were well catered for with excellent food.

Great breakfast, I had the veggie option and it was cooked perfectly. The staff member that served us was really nice and accommodating. Couldn't expect anything better. Good value for money.

Great positioning of table in line with request at time of booking. Took too long for first server to come to the table. Most of the food was really good. The vegetable pie came without roasted potatoes and was tasteless. The custard with deserts was almost cold.

Great selection on the menu and a good range of prices. The food is always good the service pleasant and the atmosphere buzzing but not too loud. I like the décor too but today, we waited fifty minutes to be served.

The pub was very busy when we visited, and our order got “sidelined” but we were offered a complimentary drink in compensation- the food when it did arrive was of good quality and even the small Portion meal I ordered was too much for me . Overall a good experience.
