Excellent food and service friendly staff good value for money

The food was excellent but the service was so slow & they weren't that busy. But only 2 members of staff working

The meal was excellent also staff was excellent, very polite

Lovely food at a lovely restaurant. A fellow customer thought it was ok to have a 10 minute conversation on loud speaker!!!

If you want just a drink, a lunch snack or a delicious evening meal then every time we have visited it has been a wonderful experience, the staff go over and above, polite and friendly and for me the Sunday roasts are the best. We love it

Food was good, staff polite. Only issue tables to close together, we are asked to move and it was sorted.

Food was absolutely delicious as always. Still never had a bad meal here. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Will hopefully be back again soon.

The food was really nice but unfortunately we found the service to be terribly slow, no one even checked if we needed anymore drinks or if the food was ok.

Table had not been reserved when we arrived. Long delay for food and had to go and ask for dessert menu.

A very friendly welcome from a young man. service was very good from a friendly young woman, (sorry I don't remember names 🙈🙄) After ordering our food was brought to our table in a prompt manner, which I was pleased with as I was quite hungry and the teasing beautiful smells from the kitchen were just that... teasing! Lol 😆 There was a little mix up with the deserts, I ordered a Strawberry Sundae 🍨 I received Apple pie & ice cream which I must add looked delicious 😋. Tbf staff were very apologetic and the issue was sorted out very swiftly. The Strawberry Sundae 🍨 was delicious, which I would highly recommend.

Early evening meal in a lovely pub. Very traditional menu but cooked very nicely

Sweet & Sour Chicken was nice but more spice would've made it great. Jam sponge & custard was lovely. Unfortunately a couple having a row did spoil the evening a little as we were sitting waiting for it to get physically nasty. They did calm down but maybe they should've been asked to leave?

We love visiting the Stables ... this was an anniversary meal and as ever they dont disappoint! Service is great, no waiting times here! Food top notch and a very relaxed atmosphere. we shall return!

We were spaced out & staff still wore face masks which made me feel happier as I’m seeing 2 cancer patients this week & therefore I don’t want to be in a crowded place . Service is always very prompt & polite. Food didn’t take long to arrive & portions are generous. We’ll definitely be back again !
