The Soulville Steakhouse - Nottingham

Food ok, starter of chicken wings was cold ( I went to this place a while back food was much tastier) staff really nice, music good. But nice and cheap I shouldn't really complain really.

Lovely steakhouse in Nottingham, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a free jukebox full of soul/Motown records. Staff were attentive and courteous and the food was excellent. Only one tiny negative - limited choice of beer. Highly recommended.

Awesome atmosphere! Service was great, staff were so helpful and non-stop. Dry happy and smiley too!! The food?? OMG it was amazing!! I can't wait to go back! Beware though, the portions are HUGE!! Looking forward to my next visit! :-)

Exceptional meal we all had steak which was cooked how we liked staff very friendly . Prices very good ,overall can not fault the place

I was very disappointed at the time it took too receive our order we waited one hour and ten minutes then the chips were cold and hard they had also forgotten my egg a bit of a letter down after hearing such good things about this restaurant my friends and I will not be going back any time soon.

Great service and great food. We had the lunch menu which was great for the price, 3 courses for £9:95, bargain . We will be back.

Another fantastic meal at soulville... service was excellent quality of the food is fantastic... I had the ribs and the meat fell of the bone and melted in your mouth, what more can you ask for!

Food was excellent, however service was not quite up to the same standard. Despite there only being one other table occupied we were kept waiting for the table to be cleared, bill to be brought etc. That said all the staff were pleasant enough I just feel they could have been a little more attentive.

Soulville Nottingham never disappoints. We had a great time,the food,atmosphere and best of all are the friendly and helpful staff. See you again very soon.

excellent meal, excellent service. If anyone who hasn't been is considering going do not hesitate. you will not be disappointed. steak was perfection, I had rib eye steak and my wife had fillet steak both superb.

Amazing food good staff couldn't ask for more would definitely recommend. Would definitely recommend the mixed grill all good quality food but definitely need room to fit it all in.

Great food and service....massive portions no way could we fit a pudding in! Staff were really helpful. Always a good atmosphere and great music! Highly recommend

Ambience is nice and relaxed .Music theme is a great touch.Staff aren't pushy during taking orders and meal so you don't feel rushed.Food came out piping hot .Was very tasty and cooked to perfection. If I was to criticise anything it was that the Chips werent quite to my taste .They were too big and clumsy.Aso, too crunchy on the outside and not all fluffy and soft on the inside which made them hard to eat.

Been before; good value and lovely ambience. Steak better value than Wetherspoon on Steak Club day. Music was lower volume than previously which was to our liking.

Excellent food, variable menus. Staff very obliging and good service. also an area to relax with a good choice of drinks after your meal in nice comfortable leather seats

Despite restaurant being empty we were sat right next to the only other occupied table. Couldn't have a conversation as could hear everything each other were saying. Food was fine for its price with the offer on, service fine although other assume staff member sat in corner eating bag of crisps on mobile phones. Unlikely to return

Excellent service with polite and friendly staff. Table was ready and clean. The meal was cooked to our request and was at a correct temperature. Portion sizes better than expected on the lunch menu, Already recomended the steakhouse to friends and will be returning.

I had the mushroom pepperpot to start which was nice. Great steak for a main. Cooked perfectly to my request. Apple pie and custard for dessert which didn't have any of those unnecessary additions you sometimes get in restaurants like cinnamon or sultanas. So perfect for me. Friendly staff and enjoyed the music playing in the background.

A beautiful building to eat in with lovely surroundings, friendly efficient staff. The service was great after we got over the problem of putting the menus in menu rake which apparently indicates that your order has been taken which ours hadn't, but that was the only blight on the evening. The food was great well presented and hot and of adequate proportions, the atmosphere was great and seating excellent all in all a very nice relaxing evening meal

Good good. Was rushed through. No wait in between courses. A Friday night and we left at 1015pm after states. Service frienfly, but I don't know what the trend is with younger people calling female customers....Guys!! Nightclub next door very loud and que yo get in went right oast the window where we were sat.

We have been to the nottingham soulville a few times and it never disappoints us.This visit was our best yet good service and superb steak meals.

As always, a beautiful steak and good atmosphere. Soulville always delivers. It was busy and i couldn't quite hear all my favorite songs but it's not their fault.

Excellent food friendly staff couldn't fault will definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you and keep up the good work. Look forward to our next visit

Had a lovely meal except the chips and onion rings felt heavy with grease so would opt for a jacket potato or maybe mash next time. Steak was cooked to perfection and the price was extremely fair!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My boyfriend loved his steak and being a vegetarian myself I found there were plenty of options for me too. The food is also very reasonably priced. We would definitely go back.

Booking the restaurant was simple on Quandoo. Soul Ville gave a good welcome and great service and as always wonderful food at a good value for money price. The music is right on.

Absolutely fantastic. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted and taken to our table. The staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. Loved the music and the free juke box. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be going back again.

An excellent experience. 8 of us in the group. Service was amazing. All the staff very friendly. All 8 had steaks and every one cooked to perfection. Beautiful tender steaks too. Will definitely be going back again. My daughter was returning to Nottingham Trent University for her final year and this has given her such a great welcome back to Nottingham. Best steaks in Nottingham would recommend well worth the money

This was my second visit to this establishment, I was impressed the first time and my second visit did not disappoint. The menu was varied something for everyone including vegetarians. The staff are friendly and I expect to visit again.

Food was superb & plenty of it.Service was also very good although it wasn't at its busiest time.Would go again & recommend it to others.Price wise I was pleasantly surprised too.

Food was good, but there was availability issues today, but the staff tried to resolve them with a alternative. I would visit the restaurant again.

Good place for late dinner and a pint. Albeit empty on workday evenings. Delicious food and friendly staff. Liked it a lot. Good for groups.
