The food, drink and staff were excellent! A great sound track and atmosphere in the restaurant. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family.

Amazing food, lovely staff and quirky fantastic decor. This was probably my 5th or 6th visit and it will definitely not be my last. The smoke pit does the best bbq in town hands down.

The food was very good! The portions were very large and could have easily been split. I am looking forward to coming back for another visit!

Good staff, nice atmosphere. Little disappointed with the food. Starter of crab in tempura batter was mostly batter. Very little crab. Told waitress but no mention of discount. Mains were nice but everything so coated with bbq sauce that it covered any natural flavour from the meat

Amazing platter of meat. Quantity awesome and BBQ sauces really good. Refill drinks have so many flavours and options to choose from and service great.

We had a great time at the smoke pit. We had some big burgers and if you needed to show someone what meat taste like, the pulled brisket is the embodiment of all that is meat.....really nice staff and refillable any kind of drink you like drinks. Good stuff

Had to complain about 2 out of 6 of our meals-the ribs were full of fat (and couldn't have been slow cooked for 10 hours as the menu suggested) and the T-bone steak was full of sinew and gristle. This was handled well by staff who gave a discount on our bill but still ruined what was supposed to be a special meal for a 60th birthday celebration.

Good food at acceptable prices, friendly service and nice ambience. Venue is good, décor appropriate for the venue and a wide range of unusual products....

We had a fab time at the Smoke Pit, celebrating hubby Pauls birthday with a big group of the family from 3 years to 65 years. Food and the atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go back and also try the new venue Hops and Chops. Thanks

The Smoke Pit remains one of our favourite, if not *the* favourite, eateries in Northamptonshire. The food is consistently of an excellent standard. Sadly for other restaurants, they have to make a damned good case even to warrant consideration!

Huge servings but really yummy. Ran out of space for dessert. Different selection of soft drinks which was nice for a change. Will be back soon.

The service was good but the food was amazing. Best burger I have ever had, portions were big and tasted beautiful. We had soft drinks from their machine which werent great but did the job. Definitely would return though.

Not a great welcome and attention to detail is poor , i was quite regular to the place hence decided to take my corporate group but its not as good now .

I booked the smoke pit for a get together and the food was amazing, I've been here at few times now and the food has never let me down! the atmosphere was buzzing, so happy I finally found a restaurant that sells root beer! as a group we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, thanks smoke pit!

Second visit. Favourite restaurant ever. The specials are so good and the atmosphere is excellent. Been with 2 large groups and no complaints! Food takes a while but it’s so fresh.

One of ordered meats was not really properly done. There was enormous waiting time for being served (15min) and for meals to arrive (35min). Anything else was good, but I know it can be better.

Wow Amazing burgers, steak tastes incredible, Mac n cheese was really good and so were the shakes. Wasn’t too keen on the desserts but they were still nice.

Nice Food, apart from the side steak was a bit tough. Good atmosphere ...quite expensive though for what we had. Cheapest steak £24. We had 2 burger and chips meals and a 1 kids meal, 1 dessert and a kids dessert plus a few drinks ....£84

Food was average and when bill came they got that wrong should have been 54 pounds they put 554 out by mistake I know have yo wait 3/4days to get my money back won't be going back again
