Awesome place for those with a big appetite. Very filling

Food was lovely we both really enjoyed it however had a to wait a little for dessert as issue with sundae machine. Will definitely be back though as it was worth the wait

The restaurant had such a lovely atmosphere and the welcomers were very friendly. We were quickly seated and served in plenty of time. Will definitely be visiting again.

The Smokepit is a gem in Northampton! Fantastic food, would recommend the beef & reef platter! Great selection of cocktails and craft beer and always a brilliant atmosphere!

Burgers were extremely dry and waiter didn’t do anything about it when we mentioned it, very disappointed. Had to pay £43.50 and did not get any money off

Tasty barbeque ribs, big portions, coleslaw tasty but a bit greasy. Service good, OK value for money. Would go back, but maybe share a starter and a main.

It was a much nicer experience than previous as it was quieter and we could actually talk. The food was delicious. The waiting staff were really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food. Excellent service. The Wagyu steak was great. The only drawback was that the shape of the inside of the building echos sound round and so it was very noisy even though the restaurant wasn't full.

Everyone enjoyed their meals tonight. My only issue was with my Caesar salad- there was too much of one type of lettuce! Could of used different lettuces.

Great food. Great service. Lousy atmosphere. Full of drunken idiots shouting obscenities. And this was at 5:30 in the evening! Get some people on the door and don’t serve drunks.

Really good food & friendly staff. Prices are a little on the high side even for the cheapest burger meal. Decent selection of beers and shakes though.

Love this place. I live near London and nothing there can even beat this place in the of quality, ambience, selection. It's just so unique! Please don't change!

A fantastic place. These guys really know their meat. Great food cooked with care and passion. Massive portion sizes. It does pay to book especially at the weekend. A good restaurant is a busy restaurant!

Friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing, there was so much leftover we were able to take it home in a container. I always recommend this place when people are looking for something a bit different.

Great food, excellent service, nice ambience. Took son for a pre-theatre meal and he said it was one of best BBQ joints he'd been to outside of USA. Highly recommended.

Service was even slower than usual and whilst normally the food makes up for it, on this occasion I was disappointed all round. Not the best visit.

Nice place but shredded brisket smelt like dog food. I had to send it back. They charged me 50% My bad I guess. Husband had ribs which were lovely. Overall too expensive.

Friendly staff, atmosphere was vibrant. The food was excellent and portions were huge. Took on one of the platters and was beaten by it, but everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I changed the number of people in my party several times, including as we actually got there, but it wasn't a problem at all.

Good food and good service in a nice atmosphere. Steaks were particularly good from the Specials menu. The waitress encouraged us to put an order in ahead of a larger table who were about to order which was really helpful. Overall an enjoyable meal.

Great atmosphere and food. Good service. Would recommend for relaxed dining experience for meat lovers. Some veggie options too. Big portions. The platters are huge but very tasy. Restaurant has no problem doing platter for two for more people.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Table was ready when we arrived. We Shared a platter and had mains, massive amounts of food. Make sure you are hungry when you go!

Very helpful with birthday party for adult. Good food. Drinks were nice. Loud atmosphere so if you have older people that are hard of hearing it might not be best location when busy. I am American so I love having a bbq place local. Only suggestion would be to have different styles of bbq sauce and don’t put sauce on meat before serving. Try getting in: smokey, Carolina style, Memphis style, sweet and sticky, spicy, etc

Great service and fantastic food as always. This is one of my most favourite places to go and eat in all of Northampton. Its top notch.

First visit to the Smoke Pit and definitely not the last. Great food and service to match. Only problem I had was deciding what to have. Look forward to coming back.

A second visit to the smoke pit Great place. Great food. Great atmosphere. A little wait due to 4 or 5 large parties but for once I didn't mind. A shame we don't live closer as it would be our trouser busting diwnfall.

Was busy but service good. Great choice of drinks. Starter and main meals excellent but the dessert was disappointing. Ice cream sundae should of been more ice cream, too much other stuff jam packed in. It was a large dessert glass literally filled up with everything (fudge, pretzel, sauce) other then ice cream, just abit in top.

A great place to go for an evening out, both the food and staff are the best, I always have the full-back of Ribs they are the best see you soon.

Really impressed with the quality of the food and the ambience. I had the 7 Hour Sriracha glazed lamb ribs which were will flavoured and beautifully cooked.

Great choice for a family birthday and the food was great. Be prepared as portions are huge so go with your belly rather than your eyes 😂

Good food, good service, good time great atmosphere good beer we had the sharing platters as it was our first time wow loads of great food and you could even take a doggy bag for any leftovers

Super restaurant. The service is fast , friendly and very helpfully. The food is delicious, the nachos to share are enormous and fantastic the sharing platter for two was more than enough for us!! Loved everything, can’t wait to go back.

Delicious food and nice environment. Service was good though at arrived after a large group so our food did take a while. Will certainly be back again soon.
