Excellent food, plenty of it and very filling. Good service all staff were very pleasant. Nice setting although did get a bit warm inside. Children loved the food too. Definitely recommend a visit.

Food was wonderful, real quality ingredients cooked well, good choice Service was excellent and great atmosphere. Price very reasonable. Would recommend well worth a visit.

We had a sharing platter for two and the food was amazing, really friendly staff and casual but enjoyable atmosphere, would definitely visit again! Great portion sizes, and lovely bbq sauce!

Food is really good. Staff friendly. We arrived bit late but table was still waiting for us. We been few times in smoke pit and we definitely come back.

Great food as always :) my favourite restaurant in the whole world. Great cocktails on this visit too. I really miss the Sunday special though.

Had a lovely experience there, definitely going back! It's a tad expensive but worth the money. Massive portions too so you won't be going hungry any time soon!

Great atmosphere and even better food! Very busy but staff were attentive and the food came out within good time! Well worth waiting slightly longer when the food tastes that good!

the smoke pit, well it was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were not disappointed the staff were great and helped us with our order and we were given the feeling that they knew a lot about the way the food was prepared and we were right the food was fantastic we will be going back very soon so if you get a chance to go book as soon as possible.

Amazing food and very good service. Had a birthday meal there and they were very helpful wth the arrangements of the table decorations and birthday cake. Overall it was lovely.

We waited ages to be greeted and taken to a table. They didn't ask for any details regarding the reservation we had. Once we were seated we were left for at least 15 minutes before anybody came to ask if we'd like a drink. There were only 4 or 5 tables of people so they weren't that busy. I got the impression that they didn't care. The steak was good but not cooked as requested. So all in all not a great experience and don't think we'll go again.

Great food with a wide selection, great atmosphere and good staff service. All four of us enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back again.

Very disappointing experience. We gad been once before and had enjoyed the food so decided to go back again. This tie, the meat was flavourless, the chicken very dry and the fries that should have had skins in appeared to be basic thin supermarket bought chips. We were given 20% discount off the bill, but we won't be returning in a hurry.

Great food and the service was amazing. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly, even grabbing us a pack of pens to keep the little ones entertained. It's the details that matter!

Amazing food, really quick service. We got there 25 minutes before our reservation and were seated straight away. The only downside was the music was a little too loud so people were shouting over it. The 2 person tables are also quite long so not great if you're looking for something intimate, like we were. Overall a great experience with amazing quality of food and service.

Not such a good experience for allergy safe foods as last time, but we all left full up and would visit again. Daughter and friends had s great time

The Smoke Pit has been several things over the past years, and still the same inside, just different food. First time at your establishment and will probably be the last. I chose the meat platter for one not a great choice . My friends were not impressed either. Over priced for what I ate in the end. Novel idea with the drinks machine.

Fantastic night for my sons birthday, food fantastic, staff great and loved the interior of the restaurant and quirky little extra that make the restaurant unique. Highly recommed

the meal and service was brilliant, was our first time there but will certainly be going back again .you got plenty for your money it was all cooked to perfection.

Really fantastic. All the meat dishes (pulled pork and St Louis ribs in particular) are delicious; I also indulged in a peanut butter milkshake and all I can say is: heaven!

I will say the hostess was on the ball with allergies. It was busy so a bit of a wait but food was good and certainly meaty!!

A really welcoming and friendly place with great staff. The authentic Texan roadhouse 'shabby chic' theme fits well with the mish mash of wooden tables and chairs scattered around the huge main glass roofed dining area. The food was fantastic, with authentic tasting and huge tasty portions of smoked and barbecued meats. Being unable to eat it all, we left with a massive doggy bag which will probably last a few days... Excellent.

This was our first time at the smoke pit, it was very busy when we arrived so just had to wait five minutes for our table. The service and food was very good and would definitely return and recommend.

Good food, and at a reasonable price. Probably best enjoyed as a group of mates, rather than as a romantic meal for two. Generous portions and tasty side dishes.

It was ok , nothing special service wasn't great and the guy delivering food was awful. Glad we bought the refillable soft drinks which were self service otherwise you die of thirst!

Great atmosphere and music . portions a little oversized for me but yummy . platters are massive but good value for money if you can eat that much.

Service and food fabulous ,portions are large so be prepared to leave some .A party of eight and each and everyone enjoyed it ,would certainly book again as there is plenty on the menu to return and try .

Food was ok but the feel of the place was a bit naff sat in a large open room but squashed in on small tables next to other people and Food was served on camping style metal plates and cups?

Quirky venue, friendly staff, we went for ribs and hot chicken, not only was it filling, but was absolutely delicious!! Can't fault them!! Highly recommend this place!!

Good food but service is slow and very random. Was served by 4 different people. Nice atmosphere. Asked me for i.d even though im 29. The girl was younger than me. So that was annoying

Nice atmosphere, got served pretty quickly, food was lovely so recommend the pulled brisket which came with a selection of three shredded/chopped veg. Also there is a refillable drinks machine. Good choice for meat lovers

A lovely evening. Superb food and great service. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. Service was efficient and we did not have to wait too long for our meal. We went early evening and the restaurant was more than 50% full. The meal was great, cooked to a high standard. Portions are generous. This is not a place for a small appetite. Well worth a visit.

Awesome food great atmosphere recommend. The sharing plater is the one to go for. Interesting selection of beers and cocktails and amazing milkshakes not to mention toilets with a twist.

My 3rd time here and the food is always amazing and you get a lot for your money. You won't leave there hungry. Would highly recommend!

Loved the place and they did a mean nachos. Extremely accommodating in re-arranging tables so we could all have a chat during the meal. Mains were fab and plenty of it. Waitress was lovely. Would definitely return. Thank you all.
