The food was fresh, delicious and arrived in a good amount of time. The atmosphere made it a nice place to be and I enjoyed my visit well.

Ambiance and food was perfect for a good casual meal out. Unfortunately for her my partner became unwell during the evening but the great thing was I got to have the whole platter for 2! Will be going back now she is well again.

Simple amazing BBQ and smoked meats with top notch sides, beers, cocktails, shakes etc... Loads of imported and authentic american goods. Very cool and lively vibe.

Great atmosphere, really nice food, a bit slow though, allow 2 hours at busy times. We had to rush to make the start of the show.

Great food. It was a little bit slow but the restaurant was very busy. We will definitely be going back. It is our favourite restaurant in Northampton.

The food and service was very good. The only slight issue was the position of the table we were given. We were near the exit and in certain seats a breeze came through every time the main door opened. We moved to another table but it wasn’t well lit and was the walk way to the toilet. So lots of people traffic. Luckily the food made up for it.

This was our second visit and i probably one of my most favourite places to eat. First Class food, a great selection of quality drinks and terrific service.

Great service, nice atmosphere and fun decor. Chairs could be a tad comfier but this doesn’t detract overall. Fantastic food, generous portions. Would thoroughly recommend :)

For the middle of the week ( wednesday ) it was very buisy , unfortunately it ment the service was a bit slow ! Spoilt the evening slightly

Great place! Lovely atmosphere, great service, loads of delicious meat & other stuff, yummy Pumpkin Ale and Nobbie's IPA! We're keep coming back again and again. Highly recommended. Although, portions are huge so will recommend to share single platter between two. Did that last night and still ended up with doggy bag to take home! Bit pricy but worth every penny! :)

Lovely staff and very lovely food. Expect large portions! Platters have to be done every time so that you really do get the best of a few different things! Highly recommend!

Easy to book did not take long When I got there they took to table and we did have to wait they are very Attentive attentive to us all the food was really good and it was nice :)

Excellent portion sizes but the chilli burger was tasteless, and the chicken thighs on the smoke pit platter just tasted of smoke. Sweet potato chips were amazing! Will definitely be back to try something different.

Food was good, but the service was really, really slow for a Monday evening. Restaurant didn’t open until 6pm, but the table was booked for then..!?!

Huge portions. Loaded nachos were yummy and ribs were great! Service was friendly and they even ask if you want a doggie bag to take home. We needed this as there was plenty left! Very nice we will be back especially as there is a vegan dish and good children’s menu!

The menu is absolutely fantastic. If you love meat do not look elsewhere. This place rocks

Great food and friendly staff. We went on wing it Wednesday for unlimited wings and expected a compromise in quality. The food was great. we will be going back again very soon!

Main food was amazing and cocktails were delicious! Toffee sundae could be improved, was very difficult to actually get the ice cream further down because of the toffee.

Hash starter was poor quality meat, main chicken cow burger the chicken was deep fried very tough and tasteless. My wife had piri piri chicken which was ok but portions were massive so the kids hardly ate anything.

Food was gorgeous. I had the cowpigchicken burger with sweet potato fries. Just gutted we didn't have the time to stop for dessert. The pecan pie with banana ice cream sounded devine!

Food was lovely and a massive portion. The atmosphere was great, there was so much to look at on the walls. Had a very American feel to it and we loved the freestyle unlimited coke machine.

Great expectations and great disappointment. I heard a lot about Smoke Pit. Great hamburgers and food in general. Definitely not worth it's price. However nice peanut butter shake and really good design. Nice atmosphere but in case of restaurant it is not the most important.

The smoke pit had a relaxed environment, the food was great and we were given excellent service. There was so much choice for food and drink, we will definitely be going back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the smoke pit. The service was faultless and every memeber of staff was smiling, cheerful and friendly. The food was impeccable and even fussy my 4 year old daughter cleaned her plate. I would definitely recommend the salted caramel and pretzel sundae to anyone, it is by far the best dessert I have ever had!

Always great food and great service! Wonderful selection of food, amazing quality, portions are perfect. Couldn't say no to a dessert. Only thing to improve would be waiting time. Food took 45 mins even though we were only people in restaurant. Guess it just means it's cooked really fresh

I’ve been to the smoke pit a lot since it first opened and it has got better and better. Staff and service have improved and the buffalo wings are bang on now.

Had a great experience. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. The food was amazing never had a bad meal there. Would highly recommend going.

About a month ago we eaten the best ribs we ever had. We took some friends ordered the same but they were nothing like the ones we had previously. The nachos were first class. My friends will not visit again!
