The food as plain even thou there was to much sauce, the sauces where physically there but you couldn't taste them. The service and atmosphere was good. The quantity you got for your money would have been good if the food was nice. Overall I would have preferred to go Nando's

It was a little bit cold inside the restaurant and we had to wait longer than usual for the food but the quality was as good as always. Staff were accommodating and put the heating on for us. Busy for a Wednesday night- almost a little too noisy but good atmosphere.

Went for a birthday gathering and As always very good food! Throughly enjoyed by all!

The service was very fast, and the staff were very friendly even smiling when just walking past :) look forward to going again in the near future!

Lovely setting, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive. Food was amazing. Candyfloss Martini to die for! If you love meat, you can't go wrong. Excellent.

Great service. Drink fell off the table (slippery and uneven surface) but was replaced straight away and mess cleaned up swiftly. Food is always satisfying!

We usually have a fantastic experience at the Smoke Pit, however this time the wait period and food was not to the usual high standards. We did express this to the waitress and she was kind enough to take some money off the bill.

Very good service and nice area, foods porstion is big. Overall is cool place for family and friends hang out. Will definitely recommend and referred people

My Son & I visited here early on a Thursday evening. The food was great for meat lovers we had the platter, the pulled meats a tad rich, great chips & the service was good too.. Will do again when in the need for meat!

This was my first time at the Smokepit, I had a great time, enjoyed the food, drink & atmosphere, this is somewhere that I would go again !

First visit for us, food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Staff very accommodating even asking my husband to sample the sauce after ordering to see if he wanted it any hotter. Sufficient time in between courses and food was cooked to perfection. Couldn't manage a sweet as portions ample although doggie bags were available for customers unable to finish but didn't want to see it go to waste. Drinks menu fantastic just a pity we had to drive home otherwise we'd have sampled a few more cocktails. Definitely will be going back and will make a night of it and stay over. Was a great meal and fantastic atmosphere. Didn't have to wait too long as well. Waiters nice. Over all I would go again and been many times in the past.

Place is lovely and food tastes great. Massive plates, it's quite hard to finish everything. Love it.

Great time as always at The Smoke Pit. The food was delicious (highly recommend the CowPigChicken Burger although friends had a sharing platter which was amazing (and absolutely loads for 2 very hungry people!)). The cocktail selection is great (Evil Barbie was good!), We had puddings but should have had 1 between 2 as we were so full from our main courses that none of us managed to finish. Prices are reasonable for such great food too.

Epic BBQ food outside of London. Staff were lovely, great atmosphere. Slightly odd artwork for the type of restaurant it is. Either way- we'll be back again.

Food excellent the design a bit dark also very loud great for groups but not intermate ones. Different go back to. This is my honest opinion as a retired chef

Great food and great drinks selection! Loved the restaurant decor and the staff were helpful 👍🏻 We both had burgers and they were really tasty, followed by a sundae which was awesome! Will be going again soon!

The place is amazing on the inside and out. Went with our two young kids who enjoyed looking at all the street art. Found it was a little on the pricey side but staff were great. Will visit again 😀

Amazing food, very unique and tasty with something to please even the most fussy of eaters. They were more than happy to accommodate myself with a plain chicken breast flame grilled which isn't on the menu! Portion size is more than adequate for the hungrier appetite too. Unfortunately we were a big party sitting at a round table but weren't able to have conversations with those opposite due to the noise in the restaurant.

This is our third visit and the service and food were very good as before. The only criticism was that everything seemed very expensive. Not sure if there has been a price increase, but it will make us think twice about returning in future, sadly.

There no bar area in the front of the restaurant to get a drink whilst waiting for you table. We were in the place for 40 mins before we had a drink in our hands. But the food.... Oh the food! Meal sizes were very big. A few of us had to leave food and chuck it in take away containers. Apart from a slow start, the Smoke Pit definitely lived up to the hype!

Great venue. Great food. I had the smoke pit platter and everything tasted amazing. Big portions means you get to take some home for later ;)

Excellent food as always, and the service is friendly and not intrusive. Loved the new items on the menu, and the childrens menu is now much better as well.

A very good menu ( lots of choices), we had two Platters, which came in at £40. This is maybe about what you might pay for a sit down Indian meal for two. We couldn't get near finishing it and were blown away by just how lovely everything looked and tasted. Without asking at the end, we were offered to have what was left, put into a bag so we could take it home - we accepted this with childish glee. The service was very attentive without being intrusive ( I am obsessed by poor service and really enjoy service that is well done, this was well done - I have had to deal with the General Public during some of my work-life).The drinks were not over priced ( £7.50 for a pint of Coors Light and a nice bottle of Pale Ale) and there was a good selection whatever your poison is. The room is well set out and well spaced out ( not crammed next to tables either side. A very good experience that I hope to repeat on another occasion..... try it, I doubt you will be disappointed.

A meat lovers restaurant with a lively and fun quirky atmosphere. Portion sizes are huge so make sure you are feeling very hungry before you go!

We ordered the Smoke Pit Platter for two - can not fault the food - was delicious. The waitress forgot to put our desert order through, but once she realized the order came and we weren't charged. Free pudding for the win.

Service fantastic as always! There was a massive group there at the same time so we expected our food to take ages but they were very quick with bringing it out! And it hot and delicious!

Fantastic restaurant for any occasion. Lively and friendly staff. Food is amazing, be warned the portions are huge. Would recommend and have returned as this is our second visit.

Great food and good service. Had the CowPigChicken burger and sweet potato fries. Great selection of craft beers also from Beavertown, Tiny Rebel and Yeastie Boys.

My favourite place in Northampton for a burger or a steak.....never let down by the food and the service has always been excellent. The staff do everything to keep our son amused and still provide a very professional service!!

Excessive amount of good served - what a waste 😓 tables too long hand to almost shout across it to be heard. Having saudxall that friendly staff food was tasty.
