Amazing food, great service and worth the money to go

Really good food and a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and hardly any wait time on a busy evening.

Cool venue, great team, awesome atmosphere. Poor Donald Trump Burger. Over compacted, and for me, too finely ground. It was a difficult meat mass to eat. Too little fat content perhaps, and was dry and overcooked. Too dear too. Apart from that, fine beer.

The food was great, the service was amazing. All the staff acknowledged my little girl and engaged with her really well. My daughter is a bit of a fussy eater. However she destroyed a portion of ribs and fries (an adult portion). Well done guys a great place to eat. We’ll be going back. Only issue was that my reservation wasn’t on the system. Not a problem as it wasn’t busy this time. Thanks for a great meal.

After having an amazing lunch last year we were determined to come back and try it out again. The smoke pit did not disappoint- just as incredible second time around and as good as we remembered. We bought our year old baby with us too and he had a brilliant time and loved the child ravioli!

We arrived early at 6pm as we had been advised that we may have to wait an hour in busy periods. The place was virtually empty and therefore lacking in atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive but the food was a disappointment. The menu is overpriced as most of the meat on offer is of the cheapest cuts. I had pulled pork which was dry and stringy made moist by an over sweet bbq sauce, which masked any flavour the pork may have had. The pickled veg were pleasant but the meal was disappointing. My husband had the brisket which was served in much the same way. There was nothing about the food, decor or ambiance that would tempt us to return.

Service was really good, our first time there. So much to choose from on the menu! Great selection of drinks too

Food was good service was very slow sat with dirty plates for over half an hour we was going to have dessert but waited so long we decided not to.

Food is absolutely amazing, cow pig chicken burger and shakes to die for. The staff are really friendly , had to bring home a doggy bag because i couldn't manage it all.

Delicious food and great service. Perfect for a little birthday celebration. We'll be back soon... but perhaps with emptier stomaches next time as we're feeling a tad stuffed.

Fantastic meat offering, best in Northampton. Great atmosphere, staff are extremely friendly. Great selection of craft ales, lagers and cocktails. Definitely worth a visit if you live in Northampton.

we had lovely tasting food, and we were served by very friendly helpful staff. it made our family occasion a day to remember, we liked the big round table especially.

Can't fail the food or the cocktails. It was as all great. Service wise not so good. Table booked at 8 but was not ready yet. This can happen busy night. Waiting in the hallway for 20 min no one to find to order a drink 8.30 table is ready, 8.50 finally a do you guys want a drink!? 9.10 drinks arrive food order taken. Food took 50 min to come out by then not so busy any more as few large tables had left. In between ordered a second round with drink witch came in 3 batches last cocktail took 20 min to arrive at the table. Asked for the bill at 10.30 as we could not be bothered to order a dessert by then. Shame as we all had different mains and we all loved the food and again cocktails where great too but because of the service not really sure if I would go back

The food was very good but service poor, we had to ask for initial drinks and then again for dessert. And again for the bill. A shame
