great food, great hard shakes and cocktails. probably our 4th time going, will definitely be going back again some time soon! (Cost £85 for 2 of us with starters mains 3/4 cocktails and a handshake)

Food was fantastic and no waste as what you couldn't finish they are happy for you to take home! Great evening start to finish. Recomend the #cowpigchicken burger!

The food was amazing as usual, unfortunately, the service was slow. This was probably due to it being Saturday. But overall, this didn't change our opinion of how much we love this place

Lovely food and the place has a great atmosphere. Friendly waiting staff and the cocktails are pretty good to. Loads to pick from on the menu.

Been here a few times now. Really enjoy it. However tonight, my mother's food was about 10 minutes after all of ours and with hardly any cous cous as advertised. Apart from that, good atmosphere.

Great restaurant outside of London!! Highly recommend this for meat lovers all over. Also amazing milkshakes, a must try. So much meat, we're yet to try the desserts!

Great evening, great food! Only issue for us was weaving out and around the tables to get to drink re-fill machine as the restaurant was packed.

As always with the smoke pit, the portions were big and the quality excellent. Even on a very busy night the service was great. Planning my next visit now

Really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. There is a great selection of drinks available. It's spacious but isn't loud and echoey like some places. It is more expensive than some restaurants but it makes up for it with the portion size and quality of food.

Brilliant food, good value for money. Plenty of choice for food and drinks. Good service. Would definitely recommend! Will look forward to my next visit!

The Smoke Pit was nice, good service and food was on the whole ok....but like us and everyone we've spoke to about it since has agreed it was a little on the expensive side. We would go again but would have to think about what you ordered carefully, which shouldn't come into it when going out for a meal .

Went on a bust Saturday night. Seated quickly and drinks arrived almost immediately. Great selection of food which arrived quickly and perfectly cooked. Great, friendly service, will be back soon!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Seated straight away, drinks ordered and brought quickly. Ordered the food and didn't wait long at all! Best thing is if you can't eat it all, you can take it home!!

It was very quick and easy to book the table we wanted, online, and we had a lovely meal. Would book like this in the future.

5 people in my party were satisfied with their orders, I however felt that my lamb ribs weren't barbecued, they were burnt. Also I think that the sweet potatoe fries should be a little more chunky, they seemed like potato scraps.

Great restaurant in Northampton. Restaurant offers unusual meals as well as burgers. All cooked to a very high standard with very large portions. I would recommend.

Nice restaurant with excellent and large proportion of tasty food. They must fill you up. I would suggest you to visit them at least once.

Great food and the best milkshake ever! Good surroundings and unique gents toilets. The Pulled Beef was slightly salty but the meats in general were top notch.

The food and the service were both excellent, even though the restaurant was very busy. I had the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly and all the food for our party was very good.

Food is amazing!! Their nachos are 11/10 could eat them all day everyday. Took a while to get our mains but it was so worth the wait.

Fabulous food - good choices, great flavours, large portions. Would not recommend for vegetarians though, as options are a little limited. Service was excellent - friendly and helpful. Restaurant was fairly busy, but we were never left for any time without drinks or food. Will definitely be back.

Food is amazing with massive portions. Service is a big let down though. There didn't seem to be any one person responsible for our table. At times we where asked the same questions by multiple people. At other times, staff where standing around whilst is and other customers tried to get their attention. Either way drinks and other requests took multiple attempts and far too long.

Opened the doors early for us as we 10mins early, we were going to the theatre they gave a very fast service with excellent food. Our servers were most pleasant and helpful well done keep up the good work. Chris L
