Good food, fast and good taste . I think will come back again.
Service was efficient and friendly. The food was really delicious. Better to have a larger group so that more dishes can be sampled. Will go again!
Very authentic food from Sichuan. Excellent quality. Reasonable price. Recommended.
Food was quick and delicious with healthy portions, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Lovely friendly staff, lovely meal good size portions, very welcoming.
Lovely food. Good service and value for money. Everyone enjoyed the evening
Lunch menu not the biggest but still great. Also is super affordable at 7 pounds or so. Big portion of rice, my cumin beef portion was much smaller than the rice portion. I still quite liked it.
Excellent food at very fair prices (note, portions are very generous so do as we did and order one or two dishes at a time, or take a few friends!) Service varied from friendly to perfunctory and (much-needed!) water had to be requested three times, but it didn't spoil the experience at all. Would definitely recommend and will return!
Nice food - quite spicy (like Sichuan cuisine is). Good spot for work lunch as service quick
Very pleased with the food quality and the portion. Would go there again.
Amazing food, waiter didn’t know anything about Sichuan province in China though!
Very good food, bit noisy but very friendly waiting staff.
We really enjoyed the grilled fish special, an awesome dish.
Always a busy place for lunch so please ensure you book a table before going!
the food is nice and we enjoyed it. recommend it
Wi was a great waiter and great service food was cracking
great! food was really good and the service was very quick. Will definitely come back!
Family dinner at our old favourite. The Sichuan never disappoints. Beautifully executed Sichuan classics pack a punch; flavours are complex but chilli levels vary. You can go for less spicy dishes if you want (just don’t order the ‘Chinese takeaway classics’ - to do so would be a shame). It’s a good idea to come with a few friends so you can try more dishes - portions are large. Don’t miss the hand torn cabbage with pork belly, beef jerky, the green beans with minced pork, the whole grilled
Good food, which compared well with food we have eaten on trips in China, low prices for a restaurant in the City of London, with well informed helpful service that helped us to pick the right mix of dishes
Great food and incredible value. It's also located just by Moorgate and despite that it provides a great value. Only not great thing is that the lunch menu seems fairly normal, like takeaway Chinese. But one can also take anything from the main menu and there's a great choice there. All with pictures if those tell you much.
Delicious food in generous portions. A nice change from Cantonese cuisine.
Food far too greasey chicken dish came up cold yuk!
Food quality was good and staff attended to us quickly.
Wasn’t impressed with the quality of the food or the restaurant. Not what we expected
Fantastic food, and great service. The pickled fungus, whole fish and cold aubergine were packed full of flavour and outstanding.
Best Sichuan food in London. Bar none. Astonishing chef. Be bold, it's hot.
Food is very tasty and authentic. Definitely will come back.
Always great food and good swift service. Highly recommended for those looking to eat Sichuan food.
My only complaint is the price. It is a little expensive.
The food was authentically spicy. We will be back again.
Great food - very authentic. The fish dish was amazing.
it is a quite nice place to have genuine traditional chinese sichuan food.
Quick service and very good food. Will go back again
Relaxed, few frills Sechuan Chinese restaurant serving delicious, spicy food for those who crave that essential Sechuan kick. Plenty of choice on the menu and portion sizes are generous. They are also happy to adapt non-vegetarian dishes to suit vegetarians. A thoroughly enjoyable meal, reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
Can't beleive I've not been here before! The food is amazing, service is great too. The Singapore Noodles are the best I've ever had, even went back on Friday for takeout. Definitely a place that I'll be going to over and over again.
Really good food. Surroundings dated but this is usual for Chinese restaurants. Servers were ok, not the friendliest but I would definitely go back that’s for sure.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to leave the birthday cake with them and they even had candles. Food was tasty. We all had a nice meal.
:) Great service and amazing food. People are always super welcoming here and make you feel comfortable and right at home. Really recommend a visit!
Great to see more Sichuan food in London. The Sichuan was good, reasonably priced with an authentic menu. We will go again to try out some of the other dishes on offer
I can feel that there’s a lot of MSG and seasoning in the food which us unhealthy to consume. And the duck is really too dry to the point that I cannnot taste the duck and a little bit if fat.
Considering it is Chinese New Year we did understand that the service may be slower than normal which is fine so well done still on service it was super busy. The food was AMAZING, great flavours and felt very authentic in comparison to most Chinese's in the UK. Would highly recommended if you want to taste real flavours rather than just a fried salty taste you would expect from other restaurants/takeaways. I had C3. ‘Gong Bao’ Prawn on Rice (contain hazel nuts) and the C7. Braised Beef Brisket on Rice, both were very yummy!
The food was delicious and everyone had a great time! The service was really friendly and I will certainly consider going again. Would definitely recommend!
It is a very enjoyable experience, and really like the fried fish. Strongly recommend this fish. Of course I will lead my friends to come back again. thanks.
In general, I'm not good at spicy foods, however, the foods at this restaurant were so delicious and excellent that I could eat everything. The interior is spacious and clean, and the staffs are friendly and experienced. I sincerely recommend this restaurant.
Food options are not as many as most Chinese restaurants, however, the taste and dining environment are better than mostly of the restaurants in China town.
Very good food. Had a nice dinner. It was a good experience and very reasonable price for the 7 of us. Highly recommended and will come back to this place
The food is consistently of outstanding quality, the dishes are original and authentic, the atmosphere is relaxed and buzzy and the service is friendly and attentive. Never disappoints. The whole deep-fried seabass with sweet and sour sauce is a masterpiece.
Decent service. Food blah compared to Sichuan Chinese we have had before. Disappointed. Would not go back again. Was surprized after all the good reviews online.
Great food, but ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Very cold, constant draught from front door. Door also banged every time guests arrived or left and/or went to washroom.
Fantastic food. Well recommended. Very flavoursome and beautifully prepared. The entire team agree that the food was great. Thank you very much. We will be back!
