Came to the Cotswolds for a girlie weekend _ fabulous pub, fabulous Sunday lunch.

Went with friends for a meal early Saturday evening. Lovely meals. I always have their pies, delicious. Very friendly pub always. Go there for lunch too.

Pity no open fire on such a miserable day. the food was good but a bit pricey.

This was a " halfway" meeting point for a celebratory meal with my brother and sister in law. Not a very comfortable place to sit and eat. Food quality indifferent (at best). Drinks very expensive. Falls well below expectations offered by Trip Advisor.

Staying at the Wilton Premier Inn we researched local vegetarian options and found the Royal Oak famous for its pies and this was indeed justified. Excellent service and food.

There is a good choice of menu, the food is excellent, the service friendly & professional & the beer is well kept. What's not to like?

we had booked on line which was very efficient however we were early and the staff were very accommodating The gluten free range was excellent The portion sizes were good and we all enjoyed a starter and main We will return
