Great big portions, great food always. Worth booking as it got busy when we were in there. Polite and friendly staff, really pleased, great evening.

The gentleman at the bar was very rude and sarcastic to the trainee bartender which set a negative tone for the eve. When our burgers arrived, both of our meals were cold including the chips. Overall our experience was unpleasant considering the amount of money spent at the establishment. Unlikely to revisit.

A great choice of beer’s good selection of spirits,the food was excellent, great service and didn’t wait long for meal to arrive.we can’t wait to go again

A great burger, but on those big white round plates, just detracted from the experience a little. If you ever get the chance go to Burger Joys, Wanchai, Hong Kong. A more cozy lighting would be nice, it was a little bright

Great portion size , all food came out in good time . Nice atmosphere, good staff and service. Parking just over the road. Most importantly the beer and ale selection is always good.

Went for vegan fortnight event and have to say burgers were lovely with loads of choice. Staff are very friendly and will be coming back.

Found The rockstones as great as usual, welcoming staff whom were easy to help and sort out any of our needs. Food was quick and quality was great, with all the food for our 8 person table coming out together. Definitely go back again!!

Very polite young barman. Gave us a choice of tables, reasonable drink prices but I thought food prices were expensive. I would never pay £15 for a burger, however big it was! Went for the 'Mac and Cheese' from starter menu, as did two of my friends, very tasty but a minute portion for £5, no accompanying salad garnish which I would have expected. The friends who had the £7.50 lunch menu of ciabatta and chips got better value for money, though said the ciabatta was hard, but served on small wooden breadboards, difficult to manage without getting food in your lap! Friend who recommended it said did well on 'Trip Advisor', very disappointed and will not be retuning any time soon. Sorry.

Great food and lovely staff. The special me us they put on throughout the year bring me back time and time again. This visit was for their Vegan Fortnight

Burger was not up to the usual standard (it was a Saturday evening) - can't put my finger on it but it just tasted different.

Great as usual. The "Gonna Need a Bigger Bun" burger is a bit of a challenge, but excellent value if you are very hungry indeed!

Great food and service. The venue is different and has a nice identity. There was a great rum selection and some great beers. Will definitely go again.

Amazing food as always!! This was my fourth visit to The Rockstone and I know I will just keep coming back. The food is SO good and they change it up regularly with the specials. Always something new and exciting to try.

We were made very welcome by barmaid on arrival, with good ales and great burgers...what more do you want from a pub? Would recommend Rockstone

Rockstone is one of my favourite places to eat. It is really good tasty food, a little bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Awesome range of drinks, especially rums and gins! Great music and great atmosphere. When busy the wait for food can be quite long but it gives more chance to have a few more drinks, have more chats with mates and to soak up the atmosphere.

Fantastic burgers with impressive vegan and vegetarian options too. About 15 different beers on tap ranging from premium lagers to craft beer selections. No onsite parking but there is a pay and display directly opposite

Food delicious. Service a little slow. No one checked on us after food was delivered so no extra drinks ordered etc. Otherwise excellent as usual. We introduced friends and we will all be coming back.

Great food as always. Just love the burgers. A great selection of real cider, ale and spirits. The staff are friendly and helpful. New loyalty card gives a good discount. Will be back soon.

The food was great and the service provdided by the staff was friendly. They were passionate about their food and drinks and were willing to offer advice in a way that showed that they cared about their customers choosing the right drink and food for them.

Britain's best burger FACT. even if your a dirty little vegy :) they have some amazing meat free options .the beer is fresh and plenty to choose from and the overall atmosphere is lovely

Great food and drinks, relaxed atmosphere and very nice on sunny Sunday evening. Would recommend the burgers and ales. Only 3 minutes walk from home makes it always so tempting!

Really enjoyed our visit to The Rockstone. Took my vegan daughter there for her birthday and they were excellent in explaining all the different vegan options she could have on her veggie burger.

Excellent food, with huge portions, and a great range of beers and ciders. The Sunday roast burger is genius! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be back for more.

No lager as they had run out of gas, but with the weather we’ve been having hardly surprising. I had a burger which was very good but they only have smoked bacon which I don’t like hence the score. Good pub though and would recommend.

The food was served after 55 minutes from initial order time and it was bit disappointing. Overall appearance was great, drinks should be colder than served.

The welcoming was great and the waiters are very smiling. The food is delicious and there is way enough to eat. Their crumble is wonderful.

The quality of our burgers was lower than usual. The most disappointing aspect though was the withdrawal of the Belgian beers. We were picking the Rockstone especially for this, a great burger paired with an even greater beer. Last time we were sadly informed that you no longer have the Belgian beers, which is a definite deal-breaker. Sorry for this! :(

Always good food and great service. No matter how busy they are they always fimd time. A go to place. Good beer, good good = great time

The food was amazing but the service could have been better, however, due to the summer weather the venue was busy so the staff seemed stretched.

My boyfriend and I recently visited Southampton and chose the Rockstone as it was dog friendly. I had a vegan classic burger with sweet potato fries. The patty, tomato sauce and fries were very nice although as I am not actually vegan I would have preferred ordinary cheese. My boyfriend had the black and blue and says it was delicious. The portion sizes were also good.

We went at lunchtime so there was loads of space. Staff were so friendly and the food (as always) was amazing. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Absolutely love it here, it’s a bit more expensive but it’s worth the money, the portions are huge!

Fabulous food for a hungry family of 4 and dog most welcome. enormous portions and a relate good range to suit all needs. Monday deal really helped the budget too.

Burgers taste good, ridiculously big though and messy to eat. Staff were nice and friendly. Overall okay but not anything special to write home about.
