The Rockstone

We went for vegan week and enjoyed having so much choice. The food was really tasty. There was quite a wait for our order to be taken but then the food came out quickly.

Service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious. The Vegan specials were really great. The atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely be back again.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in the southampton area - lovely staff, great food, and they definitely don't skimp on the portion sizes either!

The Rockstone offers tasty and giant portions of interesting concoctions! Yum! Lots of interesting ales, whiskey and beer to boot too. Happy customers all round.

Lovely place, great burgers, awesome beer, friendly staff. This is my favourite pub in Southampton where I can spend a fab time with my friends. 👍

Great experience. Great food. Great cider. The rockstone never lets you down.The music, if your a fan of alternative is also a major plus point! Choice is also exceptional meat lovers, veggies and vegans have a huge choice!!

Read about the Rockstone on a blog about the search for the best burger. The Rockstone was at the top of the list and it did not disappoint. 100% beef, perfectly cooked, with a choice of toppings. The Rockstone also had a great selection of other options for those that don't like beef - grilled chicken sandwiches, plenty of veggie options, a sirloin steak or the "I'll just have the Salad" salad. Everything (including the vegetarian options) looked tempting, but we came for the burger. Small university pub/bar. Service was great from the bartender. Will definitely return again and again.

Excellent Pud with the best burgers in the south been coming for a number of years now, still as good as ever not to mention beer and ale choices.

Always a good selection of craft beer on keg, cask and in the bottle/can fridges; got to try output from local micro breweries Unity and Broken Bridge, which were featured. I brought along a friend who hadn't been before, I've always loved the burgers, so I'm in my element, but they weren't as blown away as I had hoped - maybe I talked them up too much? Perhaps I should have insisted they have one of the really big ones (Four Horsemen), or a waffle & chocolate sauce burger (Charlie & the Chorizo Factory) to give them the wow factor. There's always next time.

Excellent vegan choices, loved the flavours. We will be back soon!!! My husband liked the extensive range of beers. children loved the veggie burgers. Everyone happy.

Great food and quick service food took a while to come out but was very nice paying at the end was slow we did have to split the bill and we had to go to the bar to do it as our server disappeared just when we were ready but all round lovely meal out

Great tasting food, very quick service and a good selection of drinks. You definitely get your moneys worth with the size portions, they do offer deals throughout the week as well

The food was fantastic as always, massive burgers and huge amount of fries. Makes sure you come hungry! Also, if you are into your Ale's or Gin's the selection is massive and worth a visit just for that.

Amazing place, always great drinks and food! There was some unfortunate mold in one of the burger buns but the staff were so apologetic and gave us a discount on the bill. I would still go back there as it's never happened before.

Went with a big group (9 people) and we all had a lovely meal. The portions are huge! The staff was absolutely lovely too :) We'll definitely be going back, as a group and independently.

The Rockstone is always a great place for an evening meal and a drink or three. Their vegan week is not to be missed - amazing seitan burgers! The range of beer is fantastic and all great quality.

I have never once been disappointed by the rockstone, the food may appear whacky with their comical names and some uncommon combinations of waffles, candied bacon and a burger; but they're absolutely gorgeous and I've never found a pub or restaurant that can compete with the rockstone

Yummy. Would love to see a flatter sandwich / burger with a wider circumference so it was easier to munch into. Great service. Does what it does very well.

Great food and atmosphere, very big portion size as always. The staff were very friendly, they fussed around our dogs and even got us a water bowl - both dogs loved the attention

Tried the 'Hellboy' burger on the specials burger,. got a little volcano sauce on the side just coz I think the spicy, Was NOT disappointed at all. Excellent burger! Hope they make it a regular fixture :)

Went for some food before the saints game. Booked a table for 3 but a couple more friends tagged along. They moved us to a bigger table no problem. Food great as always
