Great food in a really nice environment. Sometimes the music was a little loud but I think we were near to a speaker. However, this did not spoil our experience and we will be back to see the lovely staff again.

I was unable to attend but the rest of my party said food excellent but service poor. This is a shame - I believe it was slow and not attentive. Alli

We ordered goose steak and specifically asked if it was actually goose. When we got the dish it was actually beef. We complained to the waiter who apologised but overall this was very disappointing as we did not get the meal we were hoping for.

Good wholesome lunchtime pub grub. Portions just right and good value for money. Large airy space and rustic charm. Good selection of ales and the one tasted was well served.

We chose the Reindeer Pub for our staff Christmas meal. We had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Perhaps the music was a tiny bit loud as there were a lot of other people dining at the same time and it was a little difficult to hear each other sometimes. However there was a good atmosphere overall and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Staff were very pleasant, good atmosphere, tasty food at a reasonable price. The only thing for us (2 of us out for a birthday meal) was that the music was at a volume which meant we were having to raise our voices a fair bit to speak. I would say the volume could have been a little less which would have made for a slightly better experience. Overall though certainly not a disappointment and we would eat here again to try some of the other delicious things on their menu.

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Great music playing. Slightly cramped at the table given how close it was to the next table and seat unconventionally low. But overall impressed.

Lovely Sunday Roast. Well cooked and nice selection of vegetables This place has a bit of charm compared to some of the 'chain' establishments Well worth a visit

Went for the Sunday roast and would definitely recommend. Service was a little slow but that wasn't a problem for us as we weren't in a rush. Staff were very apologetic and let us know in advance so had more time to soak up the candle lit atmosphere and enjoy a drink or two.

We were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress, the place was quiet so we had our pick of the place of where to sit! Waitress was helpful with menu choices and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back!

They did not have my booking and made no effort to apologise for this, they stuck us in a corner with loud music and when we asked to move because we had made a booking they were very unhelpful and only actually moved us because somebody happened to cancel as I was asking to move. The food was good, but the service was terrible.

The food was very tasty, however the amount of veg that was presented for the three of us to share was very disappointing and i did have to order extra roasted potatoes.

Food excellent, very nice setting. Service very slow though, especially for the first drinks on arrival. Ordered three soft drinks, took more than 20 mins and still got one of the orders wrong. Very impressed by the portion size of my meal, quality and quantity 👌 Overall 4/6

Went for the Tuesday steak night and the food was outstanding. Steak was cooked perfectly with nice chips and mushrooms accompanying it. However, the real standout for me was the desert. The berry mess was popping with flavour, cleanly presented and felt like I was eating a desert from a high end restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend it.

The food was nice nothing special and took a long time to arrive, also the service was very slow we were put on a table around the corner from the bar it was like we were forgotten about, at the end of the meal I had to go to the bar and ask for the bill as again I think we where forgotten about, also it was very cold in the pub and had to where coats to get a little warmer.

Had high hopes from what I had already read on reviews and maybe my experience was a rare one. Turned up for the so called tomahawk Tuesday and got there nice and early so we could have a few drinks first. Was given menus and ordered the tomahawk for 2. 20 minutes later we get told they have no tomahawk! We left.

Excellent food and service, which is the best in the area. Roasts are the best in town and are served until the evening. Highly recommended!

The Reindeer offers truly excellent food at an accessible price, complimented by an good range of available beers from across the country and further afield. The staff are incredibly friendly and ensure that the dining experience is a positive one. On this occasion, one item that we wanted was not available. This was explained to us by the staff who offered us an alternative.

This is the 1st visit to The Reindeer pub. Outside there is a open but enclosed garden area overlooking Dereham Road & a petrol station however don't let this put you off. There is also parking at the back. We walked into the pub which had lovely tradition interior. We oerdered fish of the day fish & chips. There was a little wait after we ordered but when the food arrived it was worth it. It arrived on wooden boards. The fish was excellent. The beer batter was thin & crispy. The chips were fantastic. Real chunky homemade chips. They were golden & crispy. Oh those chips. Mmmm. Overall our meal was absolutely top knot he & we are definitely going to be back.

Varied unusual menu to suit most tastes with generous portions. Considering we were the only table eating we did wait quite a long time for our food. Above average cost wise so be prepared! However we all cleared our plates.

Good food, good service, nice interesting beers that went rather well with the dish. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed, really nothing to complain about at all.
