Had a wonderful evening there again. Had an incredible tasting menu that was out of this world. Absolutely fantastic. Food is unique and bursting with flavour and well presented. Fantastic experience.
great food, great staff. went for Sunday lunch and would definitely return.
Beautiful food, ambience and service. Would recommend. Good value also. Enjoyed my red wine. Easy to walk from Jesmond metro. Keen to return very soon!
We had a family celebration dinner here. The service was spot on and the food sublime . The sirloin steak for two with fresh bernause was a joy , it was cooked perfectly - a classic dish but so easy to get wrong - was the best I’ve ever tasted. With a midweek two courses for £20 offer, a hidden gem !
Lobster pasta, vitello tonnata, leg of mutton, ricotta gnudi with truffle, excellent and unusual wines, tiramisu and fennel and honey panacotta. Perfectly cooked and served by helpful cheery staff. At a very reasonable price for that standard of cooking. Wish we lived a bit closer.....
On a hot, dusty summer's day, The Patricia was a welcome oasis of calm. The lunchtime menu comprised smaller, sharing plates, many with an Italian influence, and all of them delicious. The dishes were served at just the right tempo (not all in a rush, which is often a problem with small plate dining) by a friendly, knowledgeable waitress, and decent, reasonably-priced wines were available by the glass. Highly recommended, and we're definitely keen to make another visit.
Excellent food and service. This was our second visit to this great restaurant and we will be back again. We had a very enjoyable night, thank you.
We’d heard a lot of good things about this place and it definitely surpassed expectations. You’ll certainly struggle to find anywhere that does Sunday lunch quite like this and trust me ive tried.
We very much enjoyed our meal at The Patricia. We ate absolutely delicious food, the toasted sandwich bite was wonderful. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was very good and there is an extensive wine list. A pleasant ambience but, unfortunately it was let down a bit by the service. The staff were very pleasant but the service was a bit slow and inattentive - for example we had to ask for the jug of water to be refilled. But I would go again.
Every aspect of the Patricia is outstanding. The food, the service, the wine list - all first class. We will be returning on a regular basis.
Absolutely Fab! Awesome food and atmosphere and great service. The fixed price menu was really great, and recommend the chocolate mousse for desert. Really great place and will definitely be back again.
We had Sunday lunch, the food and service were great. We all had the 65 day aged beef and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.
Good service. Really interesting wine list. Food generally good but occasionally not quite up to the same high standard. Decor and facilities a bit tired.
Great food - as pescatarian only had one choice on the menu for starter and main - both good but it would have been nice to have more
Food was wonderful and different. The wine we picked was delicious. Service Excellent. We would highly recommend The Patricia and will definitely be back soon.
Great service and staff helpful and pleasant. Went for sunday lunch (party of 3). Food was ok. I was expecting better based on past reviews. I've cycled past this restaurant on my way to work for the past 8 years and can't believe I never noticed it...
As always, fantastic food and attentive and knowledgeable staff. Have recommended to several friends. We need more places like this in Newcastle - may you guys continue!
Thoroughly enjoyed our first meal at The Patricia. Particularly impressed with the wine list. Food was delicious also. Loved my raw beef starter. Service was professional and well paced
Beautiful food for very reasonable prices! Service was excellent and cosy atmosphere! Wine selection was extensive and again very reasonably priced! Could not fault this restaurant! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
It's always wonderful at The Patricia. Amazing and interesting food, fabulous wine list and charming people who really care about their customers' experience. Thank you.
We came on Valentine’s Day and came back for try Sunday lunch and were not disappointed! Amazing as always! We will definitely be returning soon
Second visit to The Patricia, the first time it was newly opened and although the food was good thought it was a tad pricey...this time round we tried the prix fixe menu which had plenty of choice and the food was amazing! Service was also fantastic! Can’t wait to go back
Excellent staff service from beginning to end. Staff very knowledgeable. Menu interesting and varied. Food truly excellent. Really wide variety on the wine list. Reassuringly expensive but totally worth it.
Food excellent. It was disappointing that before 8pm only enough onion soup for 2 - and portions small. Service was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming.
Great food, great service. Perhaps the lighting could be a bit brighter - facing the window left my companion looking at a blank face due to the brightness outside and the shadow that it caused on my face!!!
Very good food, great wine, love very service and setting. The food is on the verge of being Michelin star quality. It’s a great addition to Newcastle’s restaurant scene.
Really nice meal, great open kitchen so you get all the smells and sounds of the chefs doing their work! Raw aged beef was lush.
Excellent food, extensive wine list and lovely front of house staff. My starter of aged beef had a little too much mustard in an otherwise faultless meal. Will definately go back.
Went for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Massive portion sizes, the meat had been cooked beautifully and to perfection, biggest yorkshire puddings, crispiest roast potatoes and really nice and well seasoned veg. Overall i would definitely recommend.
Some of the best food we have had in newcastle, in a lovely little resteraunt with great wines and excellent staff. We can't recommend enough!
Excellent neighborhood bistro serving delicious food. Always have a great experience..
We really enjoyed everything about our experience at The Patricia, everything was done with care and attention, from the service, to the wine, to every single bite of food. Everything was delicious, and we appreciated the chance to taste a few different wines before making a decision. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be returning!
Our second visit to the restaurant, the Sunday roast is excellent. It is obvious how much care is taken with everything they do, even down to the bread and butter.
Our first ever visit to The Patricia and it certainly won’t be the last. The food was as good as any I have eaten anywhere in the world. A must visit for anyone in Newcastle.
Bistro food as good as any you will find in France or Spain.
With food like this so close to home who needs to travel!
Unreal food and unreal service. Such a great little place. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking so for something relaxed but gormet!
In my opinion a Sunday Dinner literally cannot get any better than what you get at The Patricia.
We arrived an hour early & were able to get our table. Food was great, good quality & tasty. Impressive wine list too. Fully recommend.
The best place to eat in Newcastle hands down. A must visit type of place 10/10
Great food, great service. The best Newcastle has to offer.
A pre Christmas treat made better with natural wine in a tremendous environment.
Bistro food just does not get better than this. So good in every way.
Very nice meal at the Patricia. This was my third time there and the food is always superb. The Brussel sprouts in the cheese sauce is always my go to starter and my monkfish main was amazing. The wine list is always good and what I love about it is the large number of wine available by the glass for a reasonable price. Service was ok. A bit slow at times and could have been a little more attentive but it would not put me off returning soon as the food is superb
The best ingredients cooked to their highest potential. What a place!
My second visit and it was as enjoyable as the last. We like the room- think French bistro style, dark and cosy. The waitresses were both very friendly and efficient. We ate from the set menu which at £25 for 3 courses was good value. Pate with brioche to start was generous and tasty. Pollock with braised fennel was delicious. I really didn’t have room for the panna cotta....but managed! Will return
It was our first visit and we will definitely be returning soon. Incredible food, great wine, fantastic atmosphere, and knowledgeable serving staff. Ticks every box, and a gem of a restaurant.
Great food and service, would definitely recommend the Brussels sprouts! We will be recommending this restaurant to our friends and will be returning very soon.
Really exceptional food. Steak - best I’ve had in the UK. Gnocchi also sublime. Great service. We’ll come back. Again and again. Will travel just to eat here. Again.
