Great food and atmosphere. Only thing I would like to see them improve is faster service on drinks when you are dining upstairs. Our bottle of wine for dinner came before our pre-meal drinks and took forever. Great drink though and overall a wonderful meal and night out.

While the complementary bread was cold by the time it arrived at the table, the food which we ordered was decent and well-proportioned. The staff were attentive and polite.

Went on Saturday for brunch . Staff really helpful & smiling, very attentive, great food, and beautiful ambience . We will go back for sure!

Fast entry. Nice food with nice staff. Lesser choices for the semi buffet but definitely will come back again next time, and introduce to friends.

Really loved it at The Optimist for my sister's Birthday. The staff were so accommodating and had no issue about me bringing my own cake. The food is amazing and all the girls had never been. They all said they would definitely return

great place for food and drinks with a focus on outstanding product quality, pure taste and outstanding service. you should always start with a fancy cocktail in the bar before you go up to your table.

The location is very convenient for our office. The decor is tasteful while food / service has nothing to complaint of. Price for set lunch is also very reasonable. Would highly recommend the beef steak, juicy and cooked to perfection.

food is good, environment is nice, hardware are fine as a restaurant. However, i have remarked for a window seats for 5 and we arrived on time, but was offered to the seats where none of our remarks are fulfilled. if request can't be fulfilled, i suggest better to communicate with client first. Or i would see it's unprofessional of the restaurant or any lost in transit at the booking system. also, music in the restaurant are way too noisy, if it's Spanish would not be using pop music instead. overall the experience is fine.

The staff are friendly and detailed-oriented, warm and welcoming, and even prepare a candle and happy birthday written in chocolate sauce for my guest who has a birthday that day. Impressive customer service and warm welcoming attitude are sure-win qualities to attract repeat/returning customers like myself!

We booked a table for 7pm on Fri 22 Apr but The Optimist had our reservation as Sat 23 Apr. We managed to get a table, but it was near the toilet, which I didn't appreciate. Otherwise, food and service were good.

The Optimist is a really nice and trendy floors. Their 3 floors restaurant was completely packed on a Thursday night and I can understand why! Great and excellent food and good service!

Excellent food to taste and nice service from the restaurant staffs. I should come back in the near future. I will suggest my friends to visit The Optimit.

Great service and value for money. hard to beat insofar as brunch goes in HK. staff were attentive and polite and food was delicious. we went with a coupon but even without we would go again.

location, ambience, staff are all good. We think however that menu should reflect more the fact that this is a spanish restaurant focusing on "northern spain food". We have been there for sunday lunch so it might be that the menu reflects the deep love, still, in HK for "buffet" but i believe is possible to take into account both needs.

The environment is good. The waiter / waitress are helpful. The food is good. Although the view is facing Hennessy Road, a business road a Wanchai, it is still romantic at night.

Was alright. Service was friendly. Food wasn't anything really innovative but then again I'm for fresh Spanish tapas and hard to get fresh ingredients in HK. The octopus had a nice chargrilled taste to it but the octopus itself wasn't the freshest

Good quality and good price, I highly recommend the "salmorejo" which is a thick tomato soup, very tasty. Lunch sets are a bargain and the environment is nice, three floors within a cosy atmosphere.

Tasty food with a good range of optiions although thought the starter portions were on the small side. Sangria was delicious. Surprised that there didn't appear to be any sardines although I appreciate you are not a Portuguese restaurant! Music was too loud

Great, attentive staff. Enjoyed the pre-meal happy hour drinks. Food was excellent as was the atmosphere. They also went prepared a birthday cake platter which made the night extra special.

Service was great, design and ambience well done. Food for tapas was fine, although I do wonder why the menu still retains the term 'small plates' when it is anything but. Unfortunately makes the typical tapas experience of tasting more difficult in a small group.

My favourite Spanish restaurant so far in Hong Kong. Food is great and the staff is very nice. I use to go for the Sunday brunch with my friends and it's always a good value for money, we always finish stuffed and happy.

lovely setting, great food. It is a great venue for a business lunch or a romantic dinner. Be prepared to climb the steps for a higher floor with a view on busy Hong Kong

My friend and I had lunch set which was pretty good value for money. Got buffet entree, main course and dessert for less than $460 in total. Nice deco and good service. Will visit again!
