Lovely welcome by really pleasant and friendly staff. Good range of drinks and food. Excellent carvery and wonderful treacle tart. The pub/restaurant is looking very tired and chairs, tables and flooring were very marked and worn.

Good food really nice atmosphere would revisit in the future

Two of us had the carvery-best carvery we've ever had and one had the steak which was also the best we'd ever had. So, all in all, one of the best meals ever.

The Nailers lived up to its reputation. The carvery was lovely a good selection of fresh vegetables including roast parsnips & sprouts. My partner had scampi & he said it was very tasty. Emma our waitress was very helpful..

We booked in advance so was quick and easy. The food is absolutely delicious - almost too much choice on the carvery vegetables! The dauphinoise and parsnips in particular are delicious. The only thing that let it down was a very loud, rowdy table seated next to us and the tables are a bit too close together. A few of them smashed 3 alcoholic drinks within half an hour so I felt uncomfortable considering it was lunch time. That of course, is no fault of the Nailers Arms though so we will be going back.

We go to the nailers arms weekly for a carvery and it is by far our favourite carvery in the area. Friendly staff and delicious food. The food is always lovely and hot and fresh. The meat portions served and very generous and we find the atmosphere there lovely.

We always go for our weekly carvery at the nailers arms. The quality of the food is always top notch and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant always has a lovely atmosphere and there is plenty of car parking spaces too so we never have a issue with getting a parking space. Would definitely recommend to others.

Food was lovely, but the ambience was not particularly Christmassy, considering this was what we’d booked for. Chairs covers were stained and dirty, furniture all looks very tired and queueing for the carvery took too long.

Very good. Music pleasant and subdued which makes a change from the usual racket in restaurants and shops. Also appropriate to the clientele, not everyone wants loud pop music everywhere.

Went for a cavery one Saturday and was more than impressed. Staff were very helpful, cavery was lovely hot and fresh and well worth the money. Definitely go back again.

We all were happy that we had chosen the Nailers for our reunion. The food was well prepared and presented. Atmosphere, cost totally exceptional. The service could not have been more ideal. All in all a very enjoyable experience and needless to say we will be returning.

Visited 'The Nailers' for the first time in ages a few weeks ago on the recommendation of someone else. On the basis of that visit, I booked a table for tonight because I was meeting up with an old work colleague/friend for a catch-up before Xmas and was confident that we could have a good meal in comfortable and relaxex surroundings... and that's exactly hiw it went. 10 out of 10 for everything (service, food, quality, surroundings, literally everything)! Thank you... I will be back!! 👍
