We’ve visited the Nailers Arms a couple of times. A great carvery with a good selection of meats and vegetables . Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We came with our son wife and 2 grandchildren and we all had the carvery which we all enjoyed .

Having previously rated 5*'s the restaurant has really gone down hill. Paper thin slices of meat. Barely any meat given on my daughters plate. Can get a lot better for less the price elsewhere.

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon at the Nailers Arms. Food amazing and service was great. It was lovely to be able to go out again for a meal.

My husband snd daughter had the Sunday Cauvery which was just perfect. I had the large gammon and chips with garlic bread, the gammon was the toughest and most grisley piece of meat I have ever had. I did tell the waitress she said sorry I’ll tell the kitchen , she didn’t come back so I carried in eating what I could, it was difficult to cut and to then chew

Food was great and friendly staff are a credit to the pub. We saw people going up to the carvery not wearing face masks and staff served them without challenging them. I was with elderly parents who are hesitant at going out again and this detracted from the safe environment I told them they were going into. But again our meals and service was superb. Please challenge people to keep us all safe and well. Thanks

I have to say I was very disappointed with my meal last night . We have been to the Nailers Arms many times and also to the Swan and have always been pleased with the amount of food available. But on this occasion the amount of meat we were given was pitiful. I had some gammon and it was virtually wafer thin along with a wafer thin slice of beef, as we were on the final sitting I couldn't see why they were trying to save on the portions so overall we were very disappointed.

Very well organised following covid rules. Staff very attentive and no waiting for table service. Nice to be back there and felt very comfortable and safe. Great food and drinks. Will definitely return.

The food was absolutely delicious and very well presented! Portions were fantastic and very generous. We found the service, however, quite lacklustre. It’s not a deal breaker, we’ll definitely go again, but felt a little ignored.
