Great food as always. Need to know how they cook the beef. Table was too high against quite low chairs, so had to eat with arms in uncomfortable position.
Lovely waitress and the best carvery we’ve ever been to for quality of food and wide selection of veggies. We’ld go more but it’s nearly always fully booked!
Brilliant food, carvery especially, lots of vegetables to choose from, and the meat was lovely. Staff very helpful. Surroundings clean and appealing. Will recommend to friends and family.
We have dined at the Nailers Arms on many occasions as we have always enjoyed splendid roasts. Yesterday I had the beef which was beautifully cooked as usual. There are always a good range of accompanying vegetables. With its excellent staff and a great range of real ales, this pub offers great value for money.
Our table was ready before expected. Staff were really busy but put customers first and were on top of serving everyone to a high standard and were very helpful and friendly. Food was tasty and well presented
Good value for money, Three meats were available and good choice of vegetables. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend. Would certainly return.
Another very enjoyable evening at the Nailers Arms. The carvary was superb. Three choices of melt in the mouth meat and a fabulous selection of fresh vegetables. Will not go anywhere else for a carvary.
Staff were attentive but gave us time to enjoy conversation. It was a family celebration for my daughters 21st and the food and ambience was great.
Excellent service staff couldnt do enough for us. The food was very good, a wide choice of vegetables and puddings were delicious. Would defentialy recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.
Well worth visiting nice and clean good food and reasonable prices I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good time
Best choice of vegetables at any carvery I’ve ever had and nicely cooked not at all dried up or mushy no matter if you arrive early or later
Very busy so need to book. Only go for carvery as disappointed in other food. Always plenty of veg , potatoes etc. Staff lovely. Regular visitor!
Lovely food as always and lovely and friendly staff good service
Really good food at a great price, alongside excellent service. Variety is definitely the best we have had and we unreservedly recommend this venue for a great evening out
Excellent food lovely atmosphere friendly and welcoming always an enjoyable experience good quality food and service always book in advance to avoid disappointment this is a very popular restaurant
We had a lovely time at the Nailers on Saturday.there was eight in the party and everyone commented how nice the carvery was and such good service. Thank you Nailers.
This place is like my second home lol, absolutely enjoyed the food here, the staff are brilliant and make you so welcome, would recommend this place to anybody 😊👍
Love, love, love this place. Our favourite place to eat out as a family. You do always need to book as very popular, but staff are always so friendly and helpful, food is always delicious and service excellent. We always have the carvery but there is also a standard menu that looks lovely, including starters, desserts and a kids menu. Highly recommend here
Best Carvery around! Cannot beat it, We all enjoyed it. Only thing i would say is that there were around 5 staff members standing behind the bar and only two of us waiting and it still took around 10mins before they came over to us.. But food wise its outstanding.
Friendly, polite staff nothing to much trouble, food as always lovely. Nothing can be done about the wait in a long queue to collect your carvery, worth the wait, well done guys
We visit frequently, we do because we know from when we arrive until we leave are always made to feel welcome. Relaxed and of great value the food is amazing. Wide selection of drinks and desserts.
Met with friends for a catch up. Always my favourite place for a carvery. Great selection of fresh veg as always. Meat v nice. Great selection of real ales.
Very happy with latest visit, despite being busy (as usual) they managed to relocate us to another table, to move away from Carvery queue area, important to help old deaf lady cope - not easy as lots of bookings and limited availability for tables of 7+. Added to that, service prompt and friendly, food very good, and good value. What’s not to like....
Good food and service as usual. Will be going there again next week on the Thursday lunch time with our long time friends K & A
Brilliant choice and quality as well as great value. Very friendly staff will definitely be going back! Best carvery ever highly recommend to family and friends
Our first time eating in the restaurant itself as previously we have chosen to sit in the bar. The latter probably remains our preferred option but that is not because there was anything wrong with the restaurant. Our table was reserved and ready when we arrived and the member of staff was efficient showing us where to sit though not as friendly as the other staff with whom we came into contact - taking our order, serving the carveries and checking that we had all we needed. Food good as usual with an excellent nut roast. These are frequently dry and tasteless but this was succulent, spicy and plentiful. Vegetables on the carvery offered a wide choice and would only say that the sprouts were overdone! Do acknowledge though that when cooking them for many must be very difficult to get right. Much too full to manage a pud and value for money excellent.
We visited the Nailers this evening and had a lovely carvers. The food and service was excellent!! Thank you so much for a lovely evening!
Excellent food and the staff are very helpful, the carvery is very good with a great choice of vegetables, need to book early has very busy
As i have said in previous posts i cannot fault the Nailors Arms, the food, the staff, the politeness and the restaurant are all first class. In fact i will be booking up again very soon.
4 of us went on a Monday lunchtime and had the carvery. Food was tasty and plentiful with ample choice of vegetables and accompaniments despite being the last sitting.
Absolutely the very best carvery I have ever had. Lovely food and lovely service. I have introduced lots of people to the Nailers. Just perfect.
A good meal as always. The carvery has three choices of meat - all good - plus numerous types of vegetables. There are other main course choices, but I have never felt the need to have anything other than the carvery. I was please to see that the wine lists have now been put back on the tables.
Excellent value for money. Carvery very good and a lot of choice. Would recommend and would visit again. Well done to all of the staff.
A la carte menu or the carvery available and all food is to a very good standard. Staff are all pleasant and helpful. A place to enjoy a relaxing meal with friends or family.
Great as always. Food was fresh and delicious, service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Overall a great dining experience.
Lovely food, very friendly and helpful staff. A very nice atmosphere. Even toilets have a nice refreshing smell if you use them and very clean
Vegan options were what secured the booking and the food was not a disappointment.the food today was excellent and the service impeccable. Well done all.
Lovely food as usual. Normally have the carvery but ordered the liver which was very nice and plenty of it too. Will defiantly booking at the Nailers again.

This is DEFINITELY the place to go for a Carvery in the midlands. Go on try it you will not be disappointed I promise you. 100/100

Consistently excellent food and service . The staff are always helpful and friendly. The carvers is one of the best I’ve had and a great selection of vegetables and sides .
My first visit to the nailers arms and won't be my last!,we had the carvery and it was great, food was nice and hot and meat was tender, lots of veg choice too..
3 people had the carvery Frist class meal excellent quality meat and veg my granddaughter had a child's meal this was the best child's meal she has had with excellent presentation Plus Frist class service Thank You
If i could give it ten it would not be an injustice. As usual top ratings for food quality, service, hospitality and friendliness showed by all the staff to make my visit complete.
We had booked a table for 6pm which is when the restaurant opens. The waitress seated us next to a table of 20 which we knew would be noisy. We asked if there were any others and were told they were all booked. Upon getting our carvery, we saw that the majority of tables were still vacant! Our meal was really ruined but the noisy party next to us who swore etc plus the radiators were on so felt like a furnace. We didn’t bother with dessert as wanted to leave ASAP. When paying, they asked if all was ok to which we gave an honest reply. We were told that lots of people hadn’t turned up! Another couple arrived as we were leaving and they tried to seat them right behind the big party. There was only 1 chair even though 2 people. They just turned and left. I don’t blame them.
Disappointed that the one who carved the meat was rude and unhelpful The first time I came here it was lovely great variety of veg but no mash potatoes or green cabbage
