The food was good, as we have found it to be on our previous visits. In some parts of the restaurant the tables are placed too close together and the staff kindly moved us onto a different table from the one we had been allocated.

Food was excellent as usual and the staff were very nice. I'd pre ordered food as there were 13 of us so didn't have very long to wait when we got there!

We did not like the table allocated..no 3. too noisy next to kitchen doors which kept opening and closing. Meals ok (carveries and salmon) we have never sat in this area before

Had a great family carvery lunch. Plenty of choice. Staff were attentive and helpful. The only reason lve not rated it the full marks was, it felt very cold, which compromised our comfort, certainly did feel like there was any heating on

food very good normally but this time the food off the menu was dry tasteless and overpriced won't be back until the food on the very limited menu is back to the usual standard

The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, The atmosphere in the pub was welcoming and relaxed which all contributed to an overall brilliant lunch. Thank you so much, I can't recommend the Nailer's highly enough.

Three of us ate here on New Yesrs Eve at lunchtime. We all had the carvery which was excellent value for money. Would recommended to all.

It was another hit! This restaurant never ceases to amaze me with their consistent high standards. We had carveries which was enjoyed by all. Followed with scrumptious deserts which I had little room for due to eating every last bit of my carvery and the service was faultless. The Nailers Arms is always clean and tidy with sufficient parking even when the restaurant is full.

Very good carvery, with a selection of three meats and about 10 different types of vegetables and roasted, boiled and cheesy potatoes. As usual there wasn't a wine list on the table, which is a bit of an irritation as you then have to guess what wines are on and how much they will cost. I chose the Rioja which was nice and at a reasonable price. The Xmas pudding with custard was very good. Overall excellent value for money.

Staff very helpful and polite, table was ready for the time requested. Been here many times the quality of food is excellent and well presented.

Food ok for a carvery however there was no Christmases atmospher and the deserts went up to much a little disappoint ing but the decor is mice

3 of us went for a pre Xmas meal. As usual, the food was hot and tasty with a very good selection of vegetables to accompany the choice of turkey, gammon or beef. I particularly love their roast potatoes which are always crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Consistently good carvery.

Once again The Nailers did not let me down.First class food,first class staff and as usual first class hospitality even though they were catering for christmas parties.Simply superb.

Yet again another smashing Carvery. So much choice of vegetables and choice of 3 meats. Atmosphere great too and let’s not forget faultless, friendly service.

Carvery food is all piping hot and plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. The service is fast as you only have the table for a couple of hours. Everything was good, I can’t fault them.

The food was good as usual. Shame about children playing and running in and out of the main door, coursing a cold draft every time.

Requested the Salmon dish, very nice and then added the vegetables from the carvery which were cooked to perfection. Lovely and pleasent staff. Have booked again for this week.

Arrived to find they were really busy but within seconds we were showed to our seats. Food was very good as usual. Our waitress could not do enough for us. Full marks to the whole of the team.

Have been numerous times for a carvery and each time it’s been fantastic food. Certainly the best carvery I have been to and a good choice of vegetables to choose from.

As always the carvery was very good. I was disappointed to see that the drinks menus had been removed from the tables - hence having to guess which wines were on and how much they would cost. The waitress took away our plates after we had finished our main course and did not return to take our order for desserts. Overall a less satisfying experience than normal.

Very very good will be back again normal to what you expect from the this pub we booked 2 in that had not been before and they want to go again
