Lovely food, friendly staff. Had a nice lunchtime visit with a friend. Enjoyed the free dessert on offer for January. I will be back!

Can’t fault this place one little bit. Plenty of parking, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is absolutely delicious and plenty of choice. This is our favourite place to eat, recommend it 100%

This place is just lovely, we have never ever had a bad meal or night out here. The staff are very friendly and the service is second to none. Can’t recommend it enough. Definitely worth a visit but book before you go

Excellent food and service, in a lovely independent pub. We had the carvery; there’s plenty of vegetable and potato choices, a variety of meats, and portions are good. It’s clear to see why it’s a popular place to eat

Been many times never fails to disappoint the carvery was lovely and fresh and all hot. Service was superb all staff friendly and helpful and the Doom bar ale is kept well always a nice pint.

I was a bit disappointed with the service yesterday to be honest! As soon as we sat down we was told we only had 2hrs on the table and the lady who had purple hair wasnt very friendly! All felt a bit rushed like they couldn’t wait to get our table back and ready for the next set of customer!

The service was good, we were taken immediately to our table and our drinks and food order taken. We did not need to consult the menu as we always have the carvery!! The food on the carvery was good - very nice beef, although some of the vegetables were a bit luke warm - probably as we did not eat until 1.30pm. There was a good choice of sweets in the chiller,. at a very good price.

Nicely located pub.Food was excellent, great range of vegetables in carvery.However Service wise we felt neglected.There was an offer advertised, of free dessert, no one asked if the meal was ok, whether we would like another drink or a dessert ,so we left feeling a bit disappointed.
