Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money. Our party of 8 all enjoyed the carvery and the whole ambience of the restaurant only enhanced our enjoyment.

The service and food was excellent as always. We ordered the carvery and enjoy a wide range of meats and choice of vegetables, all well presented and hot.

Waitresses lovely food tasty but chef a bit mean with meat giving us ends and I mean ends! A bit annoying when new joints on carving board. Previous lad much better. After all for every person that eats a lot there’s someone who eats little. A bit disappointing.

Great food, always had a excellent carvery here. Friendly staff and really nice place to have a meal. Would strongly recommend booking as normally busy.

A quiet night in the lounge, with the distractions of the World Cup in the bar. Still good food, and good service, and we got home for the penalty shoot-out!

I’ve been going to Nailers Arms for years. Now we live in Somerset we use every opportunity when visiting family to go to the Nailers Arms. It’s amazing...every time! That’s the key word here...amazing.

I used to regularly drink in The Nailers about 15 years ago but hadn't been there since. Chose it as a half way meeting point for a night out with friends. Had a great night at a great venue. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Food was superb. One slight hiccup was, 3 of us ordered stacked beef burgers and the waitress noticed when serving that the bacon was missing, she came back to the table and told us and it was quickly sorted. Rather than we have to ask, which we thought was excellent. Hence the reason I say hiccup not complaint. So do not read too much into that, we saw that as caring for the customers, not just 'oh they'll not notice' attitude. Price wise couldn't fault it and is great value for money. Plenty of outside seating for a drink after our meal (which was needed on such a hot day/evening). Im pleased I have re discovered this pub/restaurant. Will definately be coming back and have no issues in recommending The Nailers to anyone. Thanks for making our catch up with friends a good time.

Excellent service and the food is fantastic. Lovely staff who are quick and efficient can't fault anything. As well as the carvery the menu is full of lovely things all freshly made.

Fantastic. Food was hot and plenty of vegetables to accompany your meat. Waitress staff friendly and helpful as always. Would highly recommend. We’ve never had a bad meal.

Friendly staff as always that are very knowledgeable behind the bar. The food was great again which makes it so hard to resist over loading your plate.

OK as carveries go. They don'always have gammon available. Staff always polite and helpful The carver today carved the beef the wrong way a bit stringy.

Very pleased with our visit to the Nailers it was our friends birthday. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff looked after us they even let us bring the cake in and served it to us. Would go again.

Have eaten here many times, best carvery by far. Only disappointment last night, bit mean with the meat, but that aside perfect, and staff very helpful too!

First time visitor had a lovely carvery all hot and so much choice. Friendly staff very good service will definitely bring all the family next time.

The evening meal with our friends was great!!! Due to the atmosphere, food and service was great and with warmth. Will not hesitate to return. The desserts was scrumptious 👍🏻😋 yum yum!!

Love, love, love this place. The staff are always very helpful, welcoming and friendly and the food is absolutely gorgeous especially the carvery. There is always 3 meats available and a minimum of 4 vegetables. They do, do an alternative menu but we love the carvery so much always end up having that. Always plenty of parking, but I would advise to ring and book first as very popular, but definitely worth a visit, can’t recommend enough.

Lovely as always! Beef was melt in the mouth and the veg selection on the carvery was fab as always. Service was quick and the place was clean and tidy.

A little disappointed with my steak. asked for medium cooked however was very burn on the outside. Other than that lovely meal with excellent service from the staff

Visited with friends the carvery was up to scratch as normal. Four meats and usual excellent variety of vegetables. Also managed a pint or 2. Doom bar on today

We had the carvery and it was all delicious. My uncle needed Gluten free food and this was available for him. We thought the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The only downside for me is that the tables are too close together and that did spoil my experience Other that that I really enjoyed the food. Don't know if I would go again tho.

Excellent meal, as always, we had the carvery which has an extensive choice of vegetables and succulent meat.Thr staff are always very efficient, polite and welcoming. Would highly recommend the nailers arms.

Can’t fault anything, sorry! Very cosy, clean and the staff looked after us with any extras, I wasn’t rushed to order or to free the table. Great food and will go again knowing it will be a pleasant visit. Cheers

Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff, the food was all hot and fresh some had Cauvery and others chose from the menu but we were informed how long the kitchen would take to serve meal which enabled us to all eat together

Always hard to get a table.... that should tell you everything you need to know. Calvery was fab as always. Chef was really chatty and we had a good laugh with him.
