Food excellent as always When carving meat, lady dropped the carving knife & fork on the floor, was both wiped with a nearby cloth! Prefered if they were fresh utenils. Was a bit off putting..was too stunned to say anything

Booked to go on a Saturday lunchtime to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately it was VERY busy (mainly with family birthday groups) and the queue for the carvery was ridiculous. Two of our party ordered off the menu and the staff said they'd tell us when to go up to carvery (so that we could all eat at same time). Lady came over at the appropriate time, we joined the queue and by the time we were served and returned to the table, the others in our group had almost finished their meals. It took us longer to queue for food than it did to eat it! The carvery WAS delicious and very good value but I would not recommend visiting at weekends or peak times.

the dining area was too hot which made eating uncomfortably and as our booking was at 6pm we expected fresh food not baked offerings from lunch time we have been here many times and are sad to see standards over the last few times have dropped

Quality carvery, well cooked, with plenty of fresh vegetables. Excellent value for money. Delicious deserts too. Would highly recommend.

The staff were lovely, the food was lovely but it was a bit loud ( not the pubs fault) and the lager shandy didn't taste right but tbf the staff changed it straight away

Big portions, nice place and not a long wait for food.

We were celebrating my wifes 73rd birthday and I had spoken to the staff regarding having candles on one of the dessert dishes but they forgot. Food was good as usual and the restaurant always gives good value

All rounder for family and couples with friendly staff and fast service...10/10 food...

I booked for Me and my family for a Father’s Day meal and we all had a really nice meal the food was amazing along with a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Carvery was good value, with a good selection of vegetables. A long wait for someone to take our dessert order, when desserts arrived I found a huge hair inside my 'special' cheesecake, I returned it to the waiter who didnt even apologise just asked if I wanted a 'fresh' one. This spoilt the whole meal for me, not the greatest first impression!!

As always the food was excellent. Very good value for money. Birthday get together. First choice of venue as we can rely on a fabulous meal. Thanks to everyone.

Had a carvery at lunchtime today. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff. The meat was lovely, so tender. But the vegetables are too overcooked for my liking. But still a pleasant meal. Will return and next time try off the set menu.
