we all loved our choices though they were more than generous

Lovely restaurant and a good menu if a little Limited for vegetarians. We were made to feel welcome. Service was rushed, we weren't shown the specials board eg. Good food with flavour explosions !

We have been coming here for years and it’s always a great dining experience! The staff are so friendly and polite and the food is the best in Inverness!

Visiting Inverness and decided to dine at Mustard Seed. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food and service did not disappoint. The restaurant was full even on a Thursday night so glad we had booked ahead. The staff were nice and friendly. We shall return next time in Inverness.

Absolutely lovely… we’ve not been here for a few years as we don’t come to Inverness that often… the food choices on the lunch menu ticks boxes of all tastes… highly recommended…

The Mustard seed never ever lets you down, I should know I go often enough! Food and service is always second to none. The fact you always have to book speakers for itself.I can’t speak highly enough about this lovely experience, the staff are honestly the best you will get every single time

We went for dinner here on Sunday evening with our 10 month old daughter. I've never been here before but always wanted to go.... It was fabulous, the service was amazing the waitress was so lovely and kept checking to make sure we were okay. We had the 2 course early evening menu - soo good! It was busy but it had such a great vibe about it and all the staff made it such a calm and enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely 100% be back again. Have told family about how great it was.

Lovely meal staff were excellent. Been a few times to Mustard Seed and prefer a table upstairs if available.

Not been in to the Mustard Seed since before Covid, so great to be back! Absolutely wonderful food, as always- very good choice, so well cooked and presented - and such good value for money. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming - hope to come back very soon!

Excellent meal. All the staff were very friendly and efficient.

A lovely friendly atmosphere…..also nice and cosy as it was cold outside! The staff were very accommodating and helpful as I wanted to switch my menu choice up due to dietary intolerances. We chose a really nice Rioja to accompany our meal and to be quite honest it was a perfect evening!

Good food, delicious as usual but the worst waitress served us, was actually quite intimidating and rude. Never experienced this before. Unfortunate as booked as a treat and we'd driven an hour for it.

It was fantastic! The table overlooking the river was awesome and the menu selections and specials were plentiful so that our party of 4 selected a variety of tastes, including desserts

Another great night out at the Mustard Seed, excellent food as always

Everything was great apart from the white wine which was brought to the table without having been in the fridge.

Our table upstairs was by the balcony door. Please avoid! It was like Piccadilly Circus with staff coming and going. Food was okay but not as good as anticipated. Figs with goats cheese...... you almost needed a magnifier to find the cheese. Fish sharing platter could have been better. It was a small amount of food and the prosciutto ham was very fatty and tough. We both had venison for mains. Meat was good but rosemary crushed potatoes tasted bland and looked like green mushy peas. We won't be going back!

I went to Mustard Seed for my mums birthday, and she enjoyed the food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We are both vegan and the vegan menu was brilliant. This is one of my favourite places to eat out.
