From beginning to end, it was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible, and the food alone was worth the trip to Scotland...also, Scotland was worth the trip to Scotland!

We booked for a birthday surprise lunch. Our table overlooked the river and the service was excellent. We were spoilt for choice from the menu and weren’t disappointed. The surprise moved to a different level when the cake arrived at our table. We’re already planning our next visit

We always enjoy our meals at The Mustard Seed and today was no exception. I am always amazed at how many people are there, and we always enjoy the food and the ambiance. Lovely food, lovely staff and we look forward to our next visit when we can get another stamp on our loyalty card!!!!

The overall experience was great; friendly staff, good service, pleasant ambience and generally great food. We had a table near a window so could see the river which was nice. However, my Highland rump steak was disappointing as it was quite tough. The veg and sauce were fine but the meat didn’t live up to expectation. It was cooked medium-rare as requested but just a bit leathery. My wife’s food was really nice !

The food was delicious with lovely fresh ingredients and service by Alice was excellent too. A lovely experience and will happily return to eat here.

Had a lovely meal in the Mustard Seed today . I happened to mention it was my husband’s birthday, to our surprise they brought ice cream with a birthday sparkler in it wishing him a happy birthday . The gesture was much appreciated. The staff are always friendly , attentive , but not overdone . If we go out to eat it’s always The Mustard Seed . Great food great place to eat .
