Excellent food and great service. Overall one of the best restaurants in Inverness.
we all had a lovely meal everyone enjoyed. Thank you
Great food friendly efficient staff and lunchtime deal good value
Food was delicious, great value for money. Staff friendly and service very quick . Great place for lunch
Lovely meal and attentive waitress value for money well priced.
Food was delicious but the portion sizes were very small. Especially for the prices they are charging.
Friendly service. Great menu choice. Value for money. Lovely spot by the river
We love the mustard seed, staff amazing, food amazing, only thing this time it was all to fast for us ... we like a bit of time between order then starter and between starter and main. Still our favourite place to eat in Inverness x
The food was absolutely exquisite, the staff charming and attentive and the restaurant itself just beautiful. The entire experience was a delight from start to finish. When we next visit Inverness, The Mustard Seed is a must!
Lovely food , reasonably priced, in cosy setting, and friendly staff.
Good food & service; lively atmosphere. Great cheese board & quince accompaniment!
Great service, wonderful food . We Loved the building too
Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Had a lovely visit, food was good and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back.
The food was delicious and the service was so friendly and welcoming! We loved our visit!
Dinner and dessert were excellent and well priced. My only complaint is all the emails from Aqua do said we had a 8:30 pm reservation . At 5 pm I received an email stating at 7:30 pm- and that’s what the restaurant had. Would have missed it had I not checked email at 7 pm
We were quite excited to try the Mustard Seed, but sadly, were disappointed. My friends dish (she had the gnocchi) was cold and awful (not prepared as described), and mine was so salty I could not eat it. They were very busy, so perhaps it was an off night, but we were not impressed with the food. The staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. We let them know about our food and they did everything they could to make it right. That was impressive! Based on how they handled our bad meals, I’d definitely be willing to try them again.
Leuk en gezellig top Een aanrader maar zeker reserveren .
Waited 5 years to finally get a chance to eat there…we were not disappointed!
Food and service good as always. Made welcome every time.
Good service and good food - we have paid more for less
This was the most amazing food!!! They were super busy, a testament to how great their food is! All of the staff were in excellent moods and very friendly! :) I will be coming back to The Mustard Seed on my next trip to Scotland! :)
Great food and great atmosphere ! Make a reso in advance though- books up quick .
Was a bit disappointing - quite a long wait for the food. I had ordered a side of fries and they didn't arrive. The waiter was called and put in the order however by the time they arrived I had eaten most of my food. I thought they shouldn't have been charged out! The polenta cake was tasteless and an unnecessary addition to a fish dish.
One of the best meals we had during our two weeks in Scotland. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and amazing food. They were even so nice to let us head back to our table for a post-dinner dram while we waited for our taxi (unexpected rain!).
It was ok nothing special price is cheap for 2 course
Beautiful restaurant and affordable for the quality. Didn’t mind the wait at all.
Had a fantastic meal at The Mustard Seed which one of my pals summed up when he said it was the best meal he’s had eating out all year
Lovely lunch with an old friend, servers so helpful & friendly. Food was very good, beautifully cooked and presented really well.
The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back on our next visit.
The service was very good and the food was really lovely. I have a gluten-free requirement and the server took great care with this. I had a very nice meal here and certainly will return.
The wait staff were fine. However, when we were paying the bill, by card, the waitress said "there's a message on the screen for you". Guess what that was - asking for a gratuity (as seems the norm now, as if wew are America). We did tip, the same normal amount we had been planning to. But that wasn't the issue. We were finishing our wine - bottle was empty and my glass was empty - just a few mouthfuls to go for my partner the candle had died.. Then the manager rushed up and grabbed the bottle, told us to drink uo and said we had overstayed our alloted time. We had been there not even 1.5 hours (1/2 of that time waiing for our food). Food was overseasoned too. We won't go back. .
Great food, wonderful service loved the atmosphere friendly helpful staff
Lovely food and environment, starters and mains were delicious, especially the mushroom tortellini. A little disappointed with the desserts eg Creme brulee had bee pre-prepared and left in the fridge so very cold and the capucchino was luke warm but overall a lovely meal out.
This is always our pre-theatre restaurant of choice in Inverness
Best ever scallops and black pudding, best ever duck and best ever cheese cake we have eaten anywhere, brilliant food
The food was lovely and the staff were very accommodating
A regular go-to when we are in Inverness. However the gluten free option are limited and include mostly vegetarian and fish, which my wife is allergic to.
Great food. Friendly service. Good atmosphere. Menu varied and tasty.
Amazing food so tastyful and very professional and friendly staff.
all great better and better every time one of the best restaurants in inverness
The staff are excellent but the lunches are not anything like as good as they have been in the past.
Great service and atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the scallops and Salmon
Reservations essential on this night as some technical difficulties in the kitchen resulted in turning away some 51 people at the door during our One hour at dinner. Monkfish and prawns was superb. Unfortunately my husband's risotto was cold, but Very quickly resolved with a replacement dish more than satisfactory. Very pleasant staff though they were operating under unusual circumstances.
Lovely meal in relaxed surroundings. Good choice on lunch menu.
Restaurant was a bit noisier than I expected and although our food was good it wasn't quite as impressive as the reviews suggested.
Highly commended service n food quality. Must make an effort to try if you are in Inverness
Wonderful service, food and atmosphere! For our last meal in Scotland, it was just perfect! Thank you!
Service staff was frenetic. We had to ask server to slow pace down.
Amazing place and food. We’ll back early. Thank you. .
