Excellent, tasty food, really nice atmosphere. Was a really nice evening for our 14 year Anniversary. Would recommend the Scotch egg starter to anyone. 😋

Excellent customer service and food was to die for I could eat here every day the steak melts in your mouth and the desserts were delicious and they special board looked so good I wanted to have that too and I will be back

Good meal. Portions slightly small for prices paid and you have to pay extra for veg etc. Not sure we would eat there again when staying in town.

steak was very chewy and grizzly. Very disappointed. Mushrooms and tomato were cold. Not as good as when we have been loads of times before. ☹️

We really enjoyed the food and also was impressed by the new menu. We were disappointed by the slow service and the fact that they offered to bring dessert menus and completely forgot about it. Needless to say we did not have dessert!

Great food and great service. Would definitely return. The menu had a good choice and all reasonably priced. Slightly noisy for a quiet meal for two, but nothing too loud and it was a Saturday evening.

Service was excellent and staff were really nice. One of our party was a 14 month old and they were very accommodating to him and his over excitement. The food was amazing and fully enjoyed by all.

We went for the weekend lunch deal, it cost more than expected as although the burger was on the deal, there was small print at the bottom that there was a surcharge for the burger, of course we never read the small print, who does! We have been since and it appears they have resolved this issues, where people can clearly see the surcharges, so it must not have been us that missed it. Besides the unexpected extra prices, the food was excellent as usual

Steak night is such great food and wine at a fantastic price - we have been a number of times and will be going again soon I am sure!

We opted for the steak night deal which is very good value. The steak was amazing and service fantastic. I just wish I could have managed a pudding!

Restaurant very quiet and they couldn’t cook a steak as requested wouldn’t like to go when it’s busy. Service felt rushed as if they wanted us out quickly to close up

Booked a table for five on a Sunday. We arrived early but were taken straight to our table. There was a Sunday menu that had just finished but a full menu with lots of choice was ideal. Kids menu too that was very good. The meal was excellent from the starters to the main course and everyone enjoyed the meal. Reasonable value for money.

Great food..friendly service and a bloody good G&T!! First time here but will definitely be back. Love it. It has a warm atmosphere and as we went early was relatively quiet.

Although we arrived early our table was ready for us and we were greeted warmly and shown the way withour waitress taking our coats. We were offered drinks immediately and the draught beer was described to me. After fetching the drinks our waitress gave us plenty of time to chat and make up our minds just keeping an eye open in case we were ready. The food came promptly and was suitability hot, delicious and plentiful. The staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Overall a fantastic family Sunday lunch and no dishes to wash. Result! Nice food but certainly nothing special, would return but not rush back. Had some confusion with the bill, had asked to swap our choice of fries and then was charged £8 extra, which was slightly annoying, as we beloved we could swap for free.

Had a lovely meal at the Moody Cow Ilkley. I had sirloin which was cooked to perfection. I felt that the service was good, and the staff very efficient.

We enjoyed our Sunday night meal here - plenty to choose from and good variety of prices for all budgets. It’s a great place for those wanting a meat fest but there is fish and veggie options too. I enjoyed my steak and very meaty St Louis ribs and my daughter loved her chicken fajitas. The only real quibble is that the sides and sauces are, in my opinion, a tad expensive - a little too like London. We will return as we felt the food was good quality and it’s a nice warm atmosphere on a wintry night!

We had the mid-week special of steak, sides and a bottle of house wine. The food was excellent and the house wine it was served with was lovely. Somehow we found room for a dessert, but couldn't pick on the menu so the helpful waitress made a recommendation and it paid off. Great service throughout and a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant.

There’s an absolute quality waitor. Really polite and knows seemingly all there is to know about the menu both food and drink. Even went out of his way to make me a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu and I didn’t even know what it was! He just needed the colour and what I remember it looking like, needless to say he got it spot on! Had a great evening made even better with the staff.

The food was nice but both mains were very salty. Portion sizes were good. Very loud party of people spolied the atmosphere a little as they continually shouted at each other throughout the whole meal.

We really enjoyed our meal, food was delicious and service great. Our steaks were well cooked and the ultimate nacho starter was a real treat. I can thoroughly recommend the Sticky toffee pudding a very tasty end to a special meal.

The food was lovely and the service was great too. I had brisket which was very good and the portions were generous, even the children's portions. Food came nice and quickly too.

Amazing food & quality drinks, friendly and helpful staff. When something wasn't available an alternative was suggested and that was fab. Highly recommend the sharing roast for 2 or 3 even with some extras. Will be back...
