Awesome food as always, a good appetite is always essential! The 'Steak Night' offer Tues-Thurs is particularly good value - steak with sauce and fries for 2 people plus a bottle of wine for £29. The restaurant is comfortable with some fabulous artwork and the staff were the right level of attentive and helpful. We'll keep coming back.

We dinned as a party of 6 and took advantage of the 2 steak for £29 offer. Amazing value for money! Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic food with great service. We will most definetly be back!

Our starter was a sharing platter which was very good! Then it went downhill we both ordered a rib eye steak but both come not really cooked to order and was very fatty and very hard to cut with a steak knife quite sloppy really! To be fair the waiter knocked the price of one rib eye of the bill! But then when we went to pay for the bill my wife had one large glass of wine and they had the full bottle on the bill for £24.95 he said that shouldn’t happen but it did and made us feel like they were trying to claw the cost of the steak back. Overall very disappointing experience even though the starter was good

Excellent service to accompany very nice food. In this town competition is extremely high so whilst the quality of the food is important the key differentiator is the service. This is a very well managed restaurant that has customer service at it's heart.

The food was lovely, and staff were friendly, but took us a while to get drinks. Staff didn’t know what draft beers were on. Had to get someone who did which meant another wait.

Great food and really good friendly service. The steak was tender, the ribs tasty and the onion rings were amazing! Would definitely go back again!

Excellent tasty food and good service . Have tried the burgers and also the Sunday lunch and can fault neither. Cocktails were a little expensive but enjoyable

not very good I will not be rushing back the food was very poor WE had Sunday lunch they did not even ask if we required mustard or horseradish with the Beef they say lots of Moody cow Gravy the little amount we had was very poor

Very friendly staff, very good ribeye, very good atmos, very good value! Was recommended as one of the best restaurants in Ilkley and didn’t disappoint. Lovely own-brand ale on draught too.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food and wine selection. We could not fault it and will be returning.

We called at the Moody Cow prior to going to see a show. We were a bit early but this was no problem. I had the pulled pork scotch egg again which was lovely. I then had the combo steak and ribs. My wife tried the curried haddock which was absolutely fab. She really enjoyed it. Another great visit so thanks to all who looked after us so well.

First time we’ve tried the Moody Cow in Ilkley . Food was amazing and came out quickly . It did take 30 mins for them to clear the plates and we had to ask twice for the bill. But other than that it was very nice and we ll be back.

We really enjoyed the food (Sunday roast) and all this in great surroundings with friendly staff. Will be coming back soon...maybe with friends or family.

2nd time we have been, and we loved it both time, food is great , staff are friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend it, and it’s not too expensive either.

Lovely meal apart from the starters. We both had mussels and I had at least 7 empty shells. Considering the whole starter consisted of about 12 mussels I would say that’s unexceptable. Told the waitress and she just said she would let the chef no but didn’t do anything about it. We were disappointed by this as we love the moody cow and enjoy going there.

The food was lovely however the service was not as good as I’d have hoped. It took 40 minutes from being given the menus to having our order taken. We order a bottle of wine and a cheaper bottle was delivered and our wine poured before we could check it. When we complained the waiter swapped the wine to the correct bottle.

This was our third visit here and the food was, as ever, superb. The place is obviously very popular so there is a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of our party spilled food onto himself and the floor. The staff could not have been more helpful, patient and kind in helping him. That is the kind of service which makes you want to go back to a restaurant.

The food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. The staff were all extremely polite, attentive and provided a very good service. The restaurant itself was warm, comfortable with a good atmosphere, especially for a mid-week evening. We had a very enjoyable night out and would highly recommend, especially if you like burgers!

Nice atmosphere and staff friendly. Score would have been higher, however, as the restaurant was very quiet when we visited on a rainy Saturday lunchtime, we didn't expect to have to wait for over 45 minutes from arrival to receiving our food - one sea bass and one steak which were very nice. Will return again when we are next in Ilkley when hopefully the service will be a little quicker :-)

Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff. We had the sharing roast, which was excellent. Meat was very tender and tasty and there was a good variety of veg.

Easy to find, Lovely staff and food I would recommend for informal drinks and dinner. We had the fish masala and the spam fries were excellent

Enjoyed excellent food and service. Wowed by an amazing twist on a prawn cocktail. Steak was perfect as was everything else regarding the main course.

Best meal out for a long time without having to worry if anything would make me ill amazing food and service they even let me bring my own cheese!! Cannot recommend highly enough great menu even better staff!

Steak over priced for meal receved. Had ribeye 10 oz steak ,but didn't taste liked grilled meat. Better value at Wetherspoon,which includes free drink !!

Went for Sunday lunch. Excellent overall. Great food and great service and reasonable prices. Can’t ask for more really. Highly recommended. Give it a try.

Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Love visiting the Ilkley restaurant, the staff are really helpful and accommodating. Chateaubriand was divine, definitely recommend even if a tad expensive!

Good Pub Grub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason for 5 starts rather than 6 was lack of atmosphere. Its basically a pub with restaurant quality food and price.

Fatty steak. Service was very good though and our sharing platter was nice but the mains were grisly and fatty which were disappointing and let down our experience.

The staff were very welcoming. We booked to celebrate my daughter ‘s 21st. The food was very nice and priced accordingly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean.

4 Sunday Lunches, perfect. Staff were attentive but unobtrusive and the food was most tasty. Great value for money on the two course deal, we will be back soon.

Good was fantastic, waiteresses were lovely (although service was a little slow at times due to busy restaurant, but we forgave this due to them being so friendly). Overall great experience!!

The good was lovely. The young man serving the drinks was very unfriendly and in our business, when customers leave, we always say goodbye and thank them. I think this is a policy that you should undertake as it is good mannered and means a lot to people. I appreciate that this is not easy when you are busy but on Wednesday 3rd January it was extremely quiet.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, good selection off the menu with the food cooked to perfection. The value reflected the quality of the place, we will be back again.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The steaks were excellent. We had a starter which was a bit dry, probably re heated. Cocktails were very good.

Very disappointing, a glorified "burger joint" at a higher price. Decor and furnishing "tired" wine overpriced for the quality, food over spiced. Will not be going again.

Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food, calamari followed by a 10oz Sirloin and an 8oz rump with honey beetroot salad was absolutely top notch. I am sure there will be cheaper but I doubt there would be better.
