The Ilkley Cow

We visited the Moody Cow at lunch time and had the 2 courses for £10 lunch time offer. It was excellent, the food was lovely and it was great value for money. The staff were very attentive and the overall experience was excellent, will definitely eat here again

Steak was tough, wine overpriced, nothing special overall! Wouldn't go there again nor would I recommend it to others. Much nicer food (at better value) elsewhere

Service was great but food a nit dissapointing tonight , burger was very dry and had to send the sauce back twice as was very very watery but rest was lovely , lovely atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the food it was all nicely cooked and full of flavour, the surrounding nice and the staff were very pleasant will go again

Food was tasty, good size portions, staff were friendly and service was relatively quick. However, would appreciate waiters handling glasses at the base of the glass rather than at the top.

Great food, lovely wine and friendly staff - not too obtrusive. Maybe lacked a bit of organisation, but that didn't detract from a great evening.

We love the Moody Cow...so much that we drove over from Wakefield for our 9pm booking. The restaurant is friendly and atmospheric, the staff are helpful and the right level of attentive and the food is excellent. My husband said his rack of ribs was the best he'd ever had. We love it and will be back.

Has the rib eye steak. It was cooked to perfection

The food was lovely, the price was very reasonable, the staff were excellent. We had the tuesday to thursday special for two of 8oz steaks with sides and sauces, and a bottle of wine for £29, less than £15 each....superb.

Excellent food as expected and very attentive staff. Resturant was unexpectedly quiet but did not detract from the enjoyment. My guest who had never been there before was very impressed with food quality and quantity.

OMG we were not let down in anyway. The restaurant was nice, fully booked but you didn't feel like you'd been squeezed and and the food was absolutely gorgeous!! If they do Xmas dinner I'm there lol

Had a great meal at the Moody Cow in Ilkley for my husband's birthday. Excellent menu choices, we opted for fillet steaks which were delicious. Great wine and cocktail list. Very friendly helpful staff. We will definitely visit again

Very nice meal, steak was nicely cooked and well presented. We did order extra vegatables but they forgot to order them with the kitchen. When they did arrive they were well worth waiting for, they did not charge us for these. Will defiantly be going back

The service was amazing, as was the food. We had the nachos to share followed by the Chateau. The chateau is so good and I would recommend to anyone. Never been disappointed with it. The atmosphere at the ilkley restaurant is really nice

Good tasty food, good friendly service and a nice busy atmosphere. My only slight whinge was we were told that our table would be need to be vacated at a particular time, which didn't turn out to be the case, which was great but we'd rushed the end of our meal unnecessarily.

Tried the two steaks and a bottle of wine for £29 offer. Very nice and good VFM. The staff were pleasant and there was a choice of wine.

Lacks atmosphere.Food and wine average.No beer/lager menu list or prices.Wine cooler was a plastic bag with ice-reminder of hospital colostomy bag-very strange.Would do better to introduce and adapt their 2 and 3 course lunch menu to evenings.An upmarket Wetherspoons. The Al a Carte menu is expensive for what it is.Not worth a detour.

Great food, good service and only £14.95 for a 2 course Sunday lunch. Food is excellent quality! Took are baby and there was no probelm with having the pram next to table which was fab as she's too small for high chair..

First timers really good experience staff great food really good just too much for us. Will recommend, just one gripe don't cram us all in one corner in a half empty resturant didn't really want to see the women eating here rare cow up close!

It was Excellent service and the steaks were even better. They also had a good selection of gin and tonic too- perfect !!!! Highly recommended
