Really nice venue with great food and drinks selection...made even better by a "2 courses for a tenner" offer on lunchtimes. Service from Matthew and his team was excellent too

Great food, good atmosphere and nice seating arrangements - we had a booth. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday night. Will definitely go back though.

We were two couples who visited The Moody Cow at 8pm on Saturday 30/9/2017. As we had a couple of lovely bottles of red wine I can recall my own meal was a starter of the Pulled Pork Scotch Egg which was divine. I then had some more red wine and onto my main course of Ribs and Steak. The ribs were the best I have ever had and the steak was very tasty. The rest of our party were very satisfied I recall and we agreed to return at a near future date. U would recommend this place highly.

We received a very friendly, warm welcome on arrival and we were attended to immediately. All the staff were courteous and helpful. We chose the special steak offer – two rump steaks and a bottle of house wine for £29 and we were not disappointed at all. The steaks were beautifully cooked and the wine was very good for a house wine. We will definitely go again and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food, drinks, service, atmosphere. We’ve been many times as large and small parties and on all occasions the standard has been high. It’s got a great feel about it and the staff are really friendly. A diamond in the area

Visited with a couple of friends last night.Brilliant food, brilliant service will definitely be going again. Ordered the fillet steak with brandy peppercorn sauce. Amazing!

Great food, nice relaxed atmosphere, very attentive staff but not on top of you. We have been before and can say that we were not disappointed with our recent visit. Next time we are in the area we will definitely book again.

Booked the table for 8:30 and was kept waiting 20-30 minutes for a table. Would have been ok if we had just walked in for a table but if they had squeezed people in warlier they should have insisted on the table being vacated for 8:30! The offer of a round of drinks to compensate would have been appreciated!

7 of us went here on Saturday the 19th of August for my Dads 60th birthday. The service was great, the food was outstanding, not one person had anything to fault about their chosen meal. The chateaubriand is incredible. It wasn't the first time we've eaten there and it certainly won't be the last time.

Our table was booked for 7pm, we didn't sit down until 8pm as we were enjoying a drink with friends in the bar. There was no pressure from staff to be seated, much appreciated. The staff were friendly and attentive and knowledgable about their menu. The food was lovely. I had calamari starter, which was cooked perfectly, not tough or dry. Mains, we had Fajitas and USDA brisket and would recommend either. Cocktails were great too

all staff pleasant and prompt very nice meal just 1 slight fault think chef slipped with salt would visit again with a doubt and would mention it if it happened again

Service was quite poor having to wait around 20 minutes for them to take our order! Other than this the food was excellent would try this place again

The food is the best part - great portion sizes for price. The atmosphere was slightly dead but the service staff were fun and helpful

Fabulous Sunday roast as usual. Beef and lamb were both exquisite as were veg . Great place to take friends and family for a little treat.

The food was great and the staff are really friendly. Parking can be tricky but obviously it depends when you go. I would definitely recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. The house side resteraunt area is beautifully clean & designed. Unfortunately although the toilets are nicely done out and look on the surface clean they couldn't do with a better cleaner as there was a lot of dust on the coving & outer rimms in the ladies toilet. I wiped my finger across it and I was shocked with all the dust.

Had the fillet steak and partner had the mixed grill and they were both excellent, cooked to perfection and the service was great too, will be returning soon!

The restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and there was a wide variety in the menu to keep all meat eaters happy. We had a shared starter for 4 of us and a main meal each. It was too much food in the end, the cost was less than £23 a head, so between cheap and expensive.

The food was delicious; one of the nicest Sunday lunches I've had in a long time and was very reasonably priced. Serving on warm plates would be the only tweak I'd make as the food went cold quite quickly. The staff were efficient and attentive without being over the top. Fab!

best steak I've had in a long time. will be going back in the very near future. prices are high but quality is worth it

It was probably the wrong place for my wife as there were only two fish dishes on the main course menu however Sea Bass was advertised on the restaurants internet site. I enjoyed the Steak and Rib combo.

We had a really lovely Sunday roast with the family. The food, staff and ambience all great! Would recommend and we'll be back soon ourselves.

Went for Father's Day. Lovely attentive staff and wonderful food, which was well presented and tasted good. A good experience was had by us all well worth another visit.

Love this place, we go quite regular for the steak night, always lovely staff and great food. The wine isn't to bad either! Bargain for the price

Welcomed in, and our table was ready and waiting for us, with the two high chauirs that i'd requested. We were in a round corner table, which was a lovely setup as it meant we could 'trap' our two year old and not only have one of the high chair. Drinks were order and arived quickly - and on a hot day, this with the air con was most welcomed. Starters were quick to arrive and were tasy too. The child order was brought with the starters, which the waiter suggested (before we had chance) this was a nice touch. The mains were also qucik to arrive, but just long enough for starters to settle. I had a tasty slection of ribs and wings - they were delicious. All the rest of the party were pleased with theirs. Sweets were declined - but sounded lovely. All in all, a very pleasant evening.

Terrible food but good service. I was impressed by the selection on the menu but it failed to deliver. Would not eat here again soon.

Great service and lovely atmosphere..starters and mains great and reasonably priced..no room for dessert but we will be trying those on our next visit for sure!

Came to the Ilkey restaurant as had recently visited the Apperley Bridge one and really enjoyed it. Was dissapointed that there was no salad bar at Ilkey. And the service was a lot slower. However fantastic food as always

Our third visit here.Twice with family including teenagers, once with friends. Excellent attentive service from all staff members. Nice ambience. Outstanding food. Great value for the quality.

First visit to The Moody Cow in Ilkley, Very good service, good food and good atmosphere - well worth a visit and we'll return in the future.

Service very good, as were the staff starters good and three of the four main good also. Unfortunately the chorizo stuffed chicken breast I had was over cooked and too dry.

Reasonable food, good friendly service. Great for a Sunday lunch. Bill came to under 100 for 4 people, which I thought was reasonable. Would eat here again

As always the food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed. I highly recommend the swine fries and the fillet steak.

Food was amazing. Olives came without cocktail stick and the room was freezing cold. Waiting staff werent very professional. Apart from that the best food I've had in a long time.
