I went yesterday evening for a meal with friends and have to say it was fab both service and food were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Great steaks and really good service, would definitely go again!

Enjoyed in most part our meal at I'll let Moody Cow, starters ,Hot praw Danish and brisket crocettes, Chicken dish nice, burger a little dry.

good food and service, and value for money. Would recommend if you like your steaks.

This is always a great place to have Sunday lunch. The meat is cooked to perfection and the veg, esp. the cauli cheese to wonderful!

Once again a fabulous meal at the moody cow. Took a friend for the first time and she would return. The Sunday roast was had by all. Excellent choice.

Our visit was on a busy Friday night and we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and piping hot. Nothing too much trouble despite it being busy, all the staff were helpful and attentive and made our experience one to remember! We all would recommend The Moody Cow to our friends.

Just what the doctor ordered! Great Yorkshire food and a friendly atmosphere. Loved the sauces with the steaks and the toffee pud. Thoroughly recommend the mashtini strawberry cocktail!

Lovely meal and excellent service. We took our 16 month old and the staff were very accommodating. They brought her food out very quickly and were very attentive.

My main course, (Haddock Masala) curried haddock was perfect, I liked the Tiramisu but it could have done with more of a coffee hit in taste. My friends all said that their meals were delicious, Pulled Pork Burger, Surf & Snout and Beer Braised Brisket. Sticky Toffee pudding was excellent.

Food was excellent and the service was second to none, price was very reasonable too. We will certainly be going again, prawn starter is highly recommend

Such a lovely place. Really friendly staff who were great at accommodating our toddler. The food was out of this world! Amazing Chateau Briand, everything else was epic too. Reasonably priced for such excellent quality. Will definitely be coming back as had such a wonderful experience here.

Lovely meal and good customer service. This is our second visit and my son loves the burgers there, we will definitely visit again very soon.

the staff were attentive , food was served piping hot so it was clearly fresh, good value for money and good atmosphere- pricey but not as bad as others around

Food was good although one item chosen was no longer available and we weren't told until we ordered. Staff friendly and helpful. Service was a bit slow and haphazard at times as the restaurant was busy possibly because it was a steak offer night. Overall a very pleasant meal.

Fantastic meal and service. Nothing too much trouble. Would well recommend. Went last year and brought daughter and grand daughter this time. Hopefully one opening near us at some point in the future.

What can I say, lovely food, the staff are very attentive and helpful, great selection behind the bar and well presented venue. Definitely worth a visit

Great food, lovely, friendly service and the food was served promptly. I had the cauliflower fritters and apart from the pickled fennel on top (bleugh!) it was delicious as was the fish and chips which had crispy batter, lovely peas and tartare sauce. The chips were very filling and I couldn't finish it all. Would definitely return. We all enjoyed our meals.

Lovely food, great staff, fantastic drinks, staff simply asked “is everything ok” too many times; every member of staff in the restaurant asked while eating.

What great food ,drink and wonderful service at the moody cow .we will definatley be returning.its been a long time since we enjoyed sunday lunch as good as this .

Very good service, food good, beautiful slow cooked cow (we had short ribs & MC beer brisket - perhaps offering small portions would be good. Shame desserts limited otherwise at least 5 out of 6

Waitress staff forgetful and too busy being trendy. Service no attention to detail. Toilets need attention. Would be good to be paid attention to, and write orders down!

Fantastic service, beautifully decorated. The food overall was OK, the roast beef was delicious but the rest of the meal was just good. The burger was bland and we fe over priced. We were over charged but it was dealt with quickly.

Main meal had by myself and hubby was ok The dessert of crime brûlée the topping was unable to be eaten as it was solid and dessert not tasty at all. We both had an Irish coffee with tia Maria the whole drink was overpowered by the extra strong taste of coffee was unable to drink it. Took quite a while for our order to be taken in not a busy restaurant at the time. Had alomost the same meal at the Calf and Cow and was so much better and £30 cheaper

Great restaurant in Ilkley - the food was really nice, the chateuabriand in particular was delicious and the starter and desserts were good too! Would definitely recommend

Pleasant experience, very friendly staff. Steaks great but the food all round was way too salty. Expensive especially deserts - 4 small churros for £7!

Felt rushed. Main meal arrived before finished eating starter. Offered coffee menu but menu never arrived. Staff very attentive but overall eating experience too rushed. Food was nice however vegetables should be included. Would not re-visit.

Great food fantastic staff what more do you need will be back for sure. The ribs melted in your mouth. The wife’s burger was like a tower!!!!!!😋😋

Food was good, service wasn’t! We had booked a table for 2 which wasn’t ready for 15 mins after we got there, then they put the 2 of us on a table of 6 at the end. Wine glass was dirty with dust on! Food took nearly an hour to come and they got the order wrong, food tasted good though although would have been nice to have some side salad on the plate too.

I’d heard such good things, no non-alcoholic beers available, and my wife’s sirloin steak was very chewy indeed. Dissapointed overall. Will give it one more go!

Great experience from arrival to departure. Great food, service and the evening was wonderful in general. It was our first time in ilkley and we will definitely be returning

The rate 1 was very generous. We went for for Sunday lunch menu 2 meals for £15. The soup on the menu said mushroom when it came it was tomato. The soup was ok but nothing special. When the roast beef dinner came it was inedible. The meat was still mooing red, pale, fatty meat. The carrots and parsnips were raw the colliflour cheese was raw again. The roast potatoes were cold. The gravey came separated but again was Luke warm. The only nice thing on the plate was the Yorkshire pudding. We never complain or send anything back but unfortunately this meal was so bad we had too. It didn't help matters while going through the traumer of the inedable food the waitress had a tray of drinks and spilt them all over my partner. The manager came came over to apologies and said he will not charge us for the meal. When th bill came we still had to pay £27 for a kids meal and drink!

Outstanding food and service to match! We will be back. The atmosphere was great and staff could not do enough to help. Many thanks for your wonderful hospitality!

Great night. Attentive staff. Manager was excellent and very child friendly. Food lovely. Particularly enjoyed my bacon and cheese burger and the kids meals were super.

Reasonably priced , the steak was Excellent and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing, great table service too. Fine selection of gin and tonics too

Relaxing atmosphere and a fantastic Sunday roast. We shared a starter and pudding and had a beef roast and a lamb roast this time. Lamb in particular was great.
