Quick service by lovely staff and great food, well presented and good value for money! Would go again for sure. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Indian.
The atmosphere was excellent as it was busy but nice. The service was good and efficient and more importantly the food was very nice and tasty.Defiantly be back here again.
Tasty food. Friendly staff. Busy, so Long wait for main meal but well worth it!! Surprise chocolate mousse to share was well received. Definitely recommend.
The service and food were brilliant. I only miss a mark off as we ordered something that never arrived. There is no spice rating on the menu and our food was hotter than expected so do ask! Excellent experience though.
It was a lovely meal with great service and delicious food. I could not have chosen anywhere nicer to celebrate Valentine's day and will definitely go again.
Welcomed on arrival. Table allocated was really too small for the party booked. However we were moved when a larger table became available. Food good. Service could have been better. Overall enjoyed the evening.
Great food , excellent service will definately return . Even after I changed my reservation by 1 hour they were very accommodating and the restaurant was very busy
i was not overall impressed with this we turned down our usual date to centreparcs to afford a more unusual indian meal as we love our indians! irstly i booked the table over 2 weeks ago online and i know it was valantines day but did not expect it absolutely packed out! on arrival we were not asked for our name we just got taken through after a short wait by the door. then we were taken to a seat that was free when i had asked specifically on the online booking page for a nice seatout the way of people as i had planned to propose to my partner! instead i held back we rushed the meal and got out of there. we sat to eat at 7.30pm and left by 9 as we just wanted the meal and to go home as it was way to packed and noisey and we had a group of 4 drunks sat behind us which wasnt very pleasent. not happy at all when we paid £70 could have just got a takeaway for less than half the price!!!
We arrived on time to a busy restaurant on a Saturday night. Table wasn't ready and we were immediately pushed back out into the entry hall which didn't have enough seating or ambience. Service was inattentive and incredibly slow which was disappointing. We weren't asked if we wanted any aperitifs but were given water. 0830PM start - mains by 10.00. Not great. On the plus side the food was pretty good, the waiters were friendly when they did eventually get to us and the restaurant is nicely decorated and the lighting level is good. Overall though the food didn't compensate for the general slowness
Service efficient on a very busy Saturday night but it felt like we couldn't linger as the queue of new customers meant tables turned round instantly. Also as the place was full it was very noisy. Food OK but heat strength could have been more clearly identified on the menu - one of our guests had an almost inedibly (chilli) hot meal. We are unlikely to return.
A bit of wait to be seated as busy:however the service was very good friendly efficient and the food excellent. Cant wait to go again.
The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming, attentive staff plus fast service. However the food wasn't spectacular. We had the sharing platter which was nice, food was a bit salty and the stuffed brie ball thingy had a sliver of brie skin inside and the outside tasted undercooked. My husband had korma for main and was one of the best kormas he'd had really lovely but I had the duck in a aubergine sauce advertised with coconut which was a bit spicy couldn't taste the coconut and over powered the duck. Also had a side of onion rice which was a bit on the oily side and lacked in flavour bit take away like. However I ordered a nan which they forgot but when mentioned received it almost instantly. Overall it is a lovely restaurant in a unfortunate location, enjoyable food, great service but not consistent. I would unlikely return.
Lonely food but the service lacked, we had to wait 20 minutes to get served drinks and another 20 minutes for the bill in which we asked twice for.
The food was lovely, especially the veggie plater for two starter. My main dish was overwhelming huge, but tasty. However, the ambience was missing and it was too loud to have a conversation without having to shout at one another. It was a very busy Saturday night, the waiters did very well considering.
The deco was fantastic, the atmosphere was was prefect for a romantic meal, the waiter Ashish was very quick and polite. Ashish came a number of times to enquire if the food was okay. I found that very pleasing. Also at the end when he was taking payment, he wasn't in a hurry to rush off. He made conversation which is very good customer service skills. I work in retail so I notice these things. Thank you for your impeccable hospitality.
A superb restaurant with lovely food choices and excellent service. This is our second visit here and there is always a good atmosphere. Advise booking sufficiently in advance as it is so popular. We will always try to come here on our visits to Bath, thoroughly enjoy it.
Food was excellent, service was very good too, but it was not cheap. I would definitely go there again but not for a while due to the cost.
This would have been top marks because the food was so delicious and the ambience but the night we went there was a big do, it was very noisy and crowded and we had to wait a long time for our table. They were very apologetic and gave us a delicious dessert on the house! The food was so good, we will be back.
The Indian food is delicious and beautifully presented with plenty of choices for both meat eaters and veggies. The staff are really friendly and helpful. All round excellent experience.
The service was nice but the waiter didn't know how to serve as he was holding the drinks glasses on top where you would put your mouth to drink, thought that was discusting & when he was serving food his tie was touching the food which he was bothered about.
We had a really nice meal. Best Indian food in. Bath. Excellent friendly service. We would definitely go again and are happy to recommend Mint Room.
exceptional food and presentation great service and helpful staff good people welcoming very keen to please and help lovely setting noise pollution at very minimum cool decor
Excellent food, pleasant surroundings & friendly staff. The food was well presented and flavoursome, I will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend to others.
Delicious, fresh food and very friendly service! This was my third visit here and it has been consistently lovely every time, looking forward to my next visit!
Amazing food, great service and great vibe. Can't fault anything, really looked after, all staff are interested and have a great understanding of their menu. Great
Excellent food, impressed by every dish. Dishes inventive and fresh, using locally sourced meats. Very attentive waiting staff. Fed four of us three courses with drinks and sides etc... and we had too much food really for about £100, so good value too. Highly recommended.
Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Brough me a free Cake as it was my borthday. Will definitely return the next time I am in Bath. Well Done
Polite service and delicious food. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future. I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes quality Indian food.
Second visit in past two months and it's still my favourite Indian restaurant ever. Superb food wonderfully presented backed by near perfect service. Don't be put off by slightly garish exterior and main road location.
Was a very nice meal , but was very rushed, probably because it was a busy night. The restaurant could have done with more staff.
If you're in Bath and you like Indian food then the Mint Room is a must. The Service, food and decor are all excellent. It's really nice to see some different specialities on the menu along with the traditional dishes - excellent in all ways
It took over an hour for our food to come out and still had to pay a hefty service charge which was already included which we did not fee was worthy.
Friendly and quick service. Not bad prices either...exceptional quality curry. Good variety of spices and good amount of meat in the dishes. Nice atmosphere too.
Had a delicious meal and lovely helpful friendly staff. We will definitely return to try some of the other menu options - I don't know why we hadn't been there before now
Food tasted excellent and the service was excellent - However it took well over an hour for the food to turn up. This is a great restaurant and I hope they are not getting greedy and taking more covers than they can cope with
A very pleasant dining experience with friendly and efficient staff. The meals came reasonably quickly and the food was delicious. The decor is extremely attractive and the ambience welcoming.
Superb as ever. Mo and his team worked very hard to provide a brilliant tasting menu for us and our guests. Good luck with the new roof terrace/ bar it looks amazing.
Good tasty food is a busy restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Short walk from the centre of Bath - worth the trip. Would be happy to go again and try more dishes.
The service wasn't quite as attentive and smooth as normal but the food was as delicious as always and we had a really lovely time.
Fantastic food and faultless, friendly and informed service by Moe and his team. We loved it and advise all to go if they want a stylish, authentic and wonderful experience! Thank you Moe!!
Amazing food with great ambience and decor. Staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough and great with recommendations Will be back soon for sure.
Great food and service. It was my son's birthday and the staff prepared a surprise desert with candles which made it all the more special.
Disappointing evening. My husbands onion bhajis we're not cooked through to the centre. My main course of prawns, scallops and mussels was inedible. Saddened as we were so looking forward to eating here
We first picked this restaurant because it was opposite the hotel but what a gem! The food is superb and the staff were friendly. Don't miss out!
Food was amazing but when we decided to pay slightly less than suggested 12.5% service charge the staff were rude and abrupt which spoiled our visit
Original and super delicious food. Lovely local meat and very very good service. Good value for the quality of ingredients and cooking. Thoroughly recommended Indian cuisine.
From when we walked in the service, food everything was excellent, best we have had. Highly recommend and so helpful, 5 stars without a doubt.
We were a party of six people who dined at the Mint Room last Saturday evening, and the whole experience was superb; from attentive staff who displayed excellent customer service, to absolutely delicious food. This is not your normal Indian cuisine but a step above. All members of my party were blown away by the experience. The best Indian food we have all ever tasted. Definitely an experience to be repeated.
Bloody noisy, food so-so. When I told the waiter it's very hot and stuffy and please to turn on the aircon he told me it's to make me feel like I'm in India -never again
Well worth a visit. Slick and attentive service without being over-bearing, well balanced menu with mixture of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Good atmosphere and busy service which suggests a loyal customer base and strong reputation. Food was of a high quality and presented as you would expect from a quality restaurant. Acid test as always is : was it good value and would we go back? Yes on both counts.
